Take It Easy Campground

Nice campground, mostly extended stays but most campers/lots were kept up and not run down. Bathhouse and laundry room were some of the nicest I have seen. Large dog park which was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was convenient to stores and state parks.

I have been here for a year and as my time gets short here it makes me sad. I have stayed in many large campgrounds like this one but this is one of the best ones. It is very quiet no matter what time of the day or night it is. NEVER had any issues with office staff and Jonh is the best and most friendliest, helpful grounds keeper I have ever met. If I could give it 10 stars I definitely would. Definitely would recommend.

This is by far the best RV campground. The office staff is amazing. The grounds keeper is really great. I definitely recommend staying here. We lived there for 9 months and out of all the campgrounds it was the best one. Very clean. Beautiful scenery and ver accommodating.

We've been here for a month so far. The staff is very friendly and professional. So far, I've never had a negative interaction and I always walk away feeling like my needs have been met.

We've decided to stay here through the school year. Our site is amazing, the other campers have all been nice and welcoming.

If you have kids in school, the schools are great too.

It's kinda in the middle of nowhere, but I recognize that it is a feature for some people.

My daughter and I came to find out about the permanent availability. The park was absolutely beautiful. They said that there would definitely be spaces available when I would be needing it. A perfect place for retirement, with your own RV, 5th wheel, camper, camper trailer, or what ever you have. Prices are very very reasonable.

John the maintenance man saved our vacation! Our ac was broken and he called a repair person for us and we got it fixed the next day. He deserves a raise because he is the face of Take it easy campground. I give him 5 stars

Well maintained. Our site is very spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great playground and swimming pool. Huge trees provide shade.

Friendly staff, very well run, quiet, clean… grounds keepers do an excellent job as well. We’ve been at TIEC over a year and it was been an excellent experience all around.

Of all the campgrounds I have visited in the state of Maryland this particular one is by far the very best of them all, the place is clean,the up keep is amazing, everyone is friendly I honestly am finding it very hard to say anything negative at all very nice place to visit temporarily or for long term I highly recommend this particular place if you want to go to a campground in the state of Maryland. I have visited just about everyone in the state and this one is by far the very best,,go to the website and check them out you will not be disappointed and everything that is on there is true in fact the website does not do it any justice meaning it does not represent just how nice the place is you just have to see it for yourself it's beautiful I mean they have places to fish they have a inground swimming pool is very nice size very clean I can go on and on about how nice it is so go see it for yourself ☺☺

Take It Easy Campground name says exactly how it is. Nice, quiet, clean Campground tuck away in St Mary's County that's a fantastic place to enjoy historic scenery. Adjacent to Lexington Park and 20 min away from Point Lookout, you get your money's worth here.
I loved it, stayed 4 nights/5 days.

Wounderful place to stay. Beautiful, well taken care of and very family oriented. wounderful amenties such as the pool, dog park, basketball court, brand new playground, and multiple ponds for fishing and recreation. Would recommend to family and friends looking for long or short term stays.

Staff was wonderful and understanding, we called and explained that we messed up the dates with our other campsite and it was full because of it being a holiday weekend and my boyfriend spoke to a lady whose name I do not remember :/ she was very helpful when we told her our situation and she sounded pleased to help us. She sent us a map of the campground right to our phone because their office would be closed by the time we were going to arrive. The next day Tom the owner came and greeted us on his golf cart and talked to us and was super friendly! We will definitely come back again:)

Clean, quit, and very friendly. Very helpful and caring staff. Spent 3 and a half month here. Zero issues with the park and staff. John the maintenance man gave me great advice for keeping my camper from freezing up during the cold months. highly recommend.

Take it easy campground is under new management. They are steadily making improvements and upgrades throughout the park. It is a quiet and pleasant park like setting here, like living a vacation.

Love love love this rv park!!! They have a pool, dog park, playground, and basketball court. They even have 2 corn holes boards at the park. There are spots for tents to camp. The staff are so friendly and the people staying at the rv park have been very friendly

Omg! I loveeeddd this place we were in a pull through site for a few months omg everyone treats you like family very clean! Nice friendly staff!! Some of the best memories! I meet long time friends here! Definitely a great stop!!!! Not far from stores and restaurants. Plenty of places to fish and crab!!! 😁😁

They have a Christ centered, multi-racial Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10 am, Wednesday evening Bible study at 6:30 pm, and Sunday morning study at 8:45 am, and the ministry is on site.They love God, His Word, and each other.Truly a blessing.I don't live on site but I attend the church services every time the doors open and I'm never disappointed!!

Owners and Staff have Always been Extremely Friendly!! Even the occupants are all always Sincerely Friendly!! Just a Happy Quiet place to relax and kick your feet up 😊😊😊
