MedStar Health: Primary Care at Great Mills

Yesterday I met with Mrs. Dearstine for the first time. My impression of my new PCP was very good. A woman of a few words, she knows when to speak and how, and also has a good knowledge of a patient' s records. She also listens very carefully to what a patient is saying and, most importantly, communicating. The staff was very polite and professional. Overall, a good experience.

What a gift it is to have Dr. God in SOMD! She is always so kind, compassionate, understanding, and thorough with our son. I always walk out feeling like I know so much more about how to parent; she always seems so up to date on research and shares her knowledge. There’s never any judgement felt coming from Dr. God.

I forget the staff member who works with her (she gives vaccines, used to work in NICU), but she is also always awesome and personable. Love love love this office and couldn’t recommend them more.

My overall experience was a pleasant one. I appreciated the correspondence via email and text before my appointment, which made the check-in process more streamlined.

The staff were all friendly and professional.
Nurse Beth Smith was professional, pleasant, caring, and, in my opinion, went the extra mile in helping me find a referral who had high ratings from numerous reviews. Before my appointment, I wasn't sure about her because she was not my primary doctor, but she was great.

Ashley was amazing! Very thorough and patient!! She took time to explain everything I asked and she also gave me great suggestions. She made me feel like I was the only patient she had as she took her time to answer everything I needed answered. Definitely will recommend her to family and friends!!

Only issue I had was the call center not providing correct information however they did reach out to the front desk and they accommodated the appointment that was needed!! Your call center needs better training!!

Ami is my new doctor and she is absolutely amazing! I didn't feel like I was being rushed, she actually sat down and spoke with me about everything I had concerns about. I left appointment with Ami feeling hopeful about my treatment plan. Thank you Ami and Patty!

I had great service today I love Dr Ashley Desrstine she is amazing the staff are friendly helpful and quick. I have not had a bad visit there yet and I doubt I ever will. Dr. Dearstine so easy to talk to she understands everything so informative and will help you through anything she can

Marie always takes the time to listen and explain everything concerning my health. She is the best.

We had a great experience today with Dr.God. Always time well spent going over my kids health and setting goals. Love the office.

Extremely kind and attentive. My kids and I were not rushed out and the Dr. Bethany God and her nurse, were amazing. Glad we decided to switch doctors. My children have multiple health conditions and Dr. God went into detail with her questions and explanations on treatment options.

I met Marie Tarleton and she was just kind and friendly and the front desk also was very pleasant. Thank you all who took good care of me.

The staff is attentive, and wait times are not very long. Pediatrician Dr. Bethany God is amazing! She is so thorough and really listens to my children’s concerns, and she works through numerous avenues for diagnosis of symptoms and coming up with solutions.

Marie always listens to you and treats you correctly. Very personable. I have been a patient of hers for years.

I see Marie Tarleton and I love how she truly listens to any issues and concerns. Now, it takes a month or more for an appointment, but worth it. I've also seen other P. A. in the office and all where great. BUT, THIS NEW CALL CENTER SUCKS!

The focus in the patient by all the staff was outstanding. They truly care and are there to help you through any situation.

We have been seeing pediatrician Dr. God at MedStar Health Primary care in Great Mills since our baby’s birth and have been beyond pleased thus far. Dr. God is very attentive, thorough, compassionate and personable. She takes the time to listen to all concerns and does a phenomenal job of explaining everything. We have had no issues getting an appointment needed whenever a concern has come up.

Doctor God is the best pediatrician doctor my son is autistic and she always gets me all the information I need for him and my other other I so appreciated the time she explains the things to my wife and I

We followed Dr. God to this practice from a previous practice and our first visit was fantastic. The office staff was friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. If you’re looking for a dedicated, compassionate, pediatrician, look no further than Dr. God. She spent an hour addressing all of the questions/concerns since we last saw her. I am so happy we made the choice to follow her to this new practice.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. God! She is the best pediatrician! She always listens, makes our kids feel important, and never rushes them through. Her attention to detail and bedside manner are top-notch and we are so thankful to have her!

Very easy to get an appointment, all the nurse practiceners are very knowledgeable and are very concerned with giving the best care possible. They truly listen to you .
