Green Door Tavern

This is a great bar. They have pizza and beer. If you are a man and have to sit down to use the restroom, you will unfortunately want to go elsewhere. I have seen the toilet work approximately 5% of the time over the past decade. I highly recommend this place despite that setback.

I would recommend ordering a pitcher of beer and a pizza, then go play some buck hunter or pinball. Pinball rotates every so often which is nice, buck hunter machine is in good shape (HD). Also there is golden tee, pool, darts, ping pong, beer pong. They've got it all!

Nice little college bar. Bartenders are busy but they do a good job and they're friendly. Tap beers are inexpensive, pitchers are the way to go if you plan on being there for a while. Pool, ping pong and darts are available for entertainment. They've also got pizzas made to order

Great hangout in the middle of nowhere and near the St. Mary's College campus. Pool, darts and other games. Reasonable prices. Relatively fast service.

You'll run into college students and townies. Great place to catch a Caps game. Look out for Pint Nights. Pizza is edible, but you should have a few drinks.

Great place to have a few beers and hang out. I love playing the games. It's a CASH ONLY bar. But, they have an ATM. The bar staff are always friendly and it's not overly crowded while the college kids are away. They get a little crowded when the college kids come back but it's still fun.

Best dive bar in the country. Absolutely unbeatable prices, great atmosphere, and great staff. I’ve been going here since 2015 as a college student and I have so many incredible memories here

This is a hidden gem for some and a local favorite for college students at SMCM. Awesome atmosphere wonderful staff great drinks and friendly patrons. Come on down to the Green Door!

Only been there once but I had a good time. Saw a few old friends . Have never heard any bad things about it! No drama and fights like a lot of "college bars". Now I'm close enough I can walk there! (If I drank!)

Is not only a really nice place to enjoy with friends, I see tonight the manager take a costumer who can't drive take her to home. Oh my goodness that is a really nice help to her costumers. At my point they deserve one millions stars not only 5.

I like this bar but if you have a peanut allergy, this place will probably kill you. They need a sign or something. I love peanuts though. Basically, I’m saying that they give you free peanuts and that peanuts are everywhere.

Always a great place to hangout and chill. Customers are always very friendly and welcoming. Bar food is even good. Always have great bartenders.

Very friendly place with good service

This was my undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate bar of choice. Cheap drinks, friendly (for the most part) regulars, and games (beer pong, Buck Hunter, Golden Tee, etc).

Note that this is a cash bar, and even though there is an ATM it's sometimes out of order.

This place is stuck in the 80's in terms of price. I wish I lived closer.

College bar filled with locals early and college students, young people later. Pool table, ping pong, pizza night Monday. Casual atmosphere mixed with local flavor.

Best college dive bar! They only take cash (but there’s an atm machine inside), a few dollars will go a long way here.

Great bar. Everyone is friendly and service is quick, despite how busy it gets sometimes. Prices are some of the lowest in the area.
