Sky Valley Country Club

We own a timeshare at Skyvalley and truly enjoyed our time away in the Georgia mountains. It's so beautiful and peaceful there.

Really enjoyed our first time ever at Sky Valley. It was a family trip. Mark, our contact was so helpful and full of information to make our trip fun and comfortable. The home had lots of updates and great view. ❣

3 days of golf, day one was great little warm but overall the course was outstanding. Day 2 rain in the am, Cary path only but cleared up and good. Day 3 no rain, rough drive only, great day of golf. Fairways are in fantastic shape and the greens are the best I’ve played all year. Highly recommend Sky Valley. The course layout and views makes the course special.

Beautiful golf course high in the mountains. Very challenging. The fairways are very well kept, the greens are lightening fast. When we were there the greens had just been aerated and they were still very fast. The staff is great, Club house is awesome. Highly recommend playing this course.

One of the Best Hidden treats we have ever found. In addition to great golf, jaw-dropping views, hiking, swimming, white water kayaking & delicious food, the people are so welcoming & generous. We loved it!

Unbelievable round of golf! I feel so fortunate this course is available for public tee times. I absolutely recommend.

We really like this place. I have stayed here at least four times over the last Dozen Years. Nice quaint cottages that are well-stocked with all the comforts of home, wifi, cable TV, fully stocked kitchen, Tennis courts, golf, croquet, horseshoes, pickleball. Etc we have our own private waterfall with hiking trail on site. There is much to do. Right down the road from Cashiers and Highlands and beautiful scenery abounds. Shelly the manager was very helpful and a delight. Located on the edge of the natahallu forest right on the GA/NC line.

I was invited as a guest to play Sky Valley in late June 2021 and the experience was too notch all around. The views from the back nine are exceptional and the course conditions could not have been more pristine.

Managed to shoot 40-33 and hope to come back to turn in a sub par round!

This is a beautiful little mountain.i rode up around the grounds.i got pictures.we use to go to the car shows . We always enjoyed , an craft shows, we even dined in the clubhouse.it was so interesting. Maybe ole covid will let us go visit often.the food and wine was awesome we will be back.

Played on Monday before last. What great fortune to have this course be available to the vacationing public. They had aerated a week prior but putts rolled almost perfect. Pro shop discounted round 10 or 20%, which was very kind. The starter/cart/bag man was a delight to speak with. Many fairways were quite soft (rained a bit previous day) which killed yardage on few holes but..... Front nine fairly forgiving. Back nine a little tight (14th hole). If you find yourself in this beautiful area this is an absolute "must-play". (hug the right side on One tee-it's really only one of two or three of the blind shots) (make sure you know where the Two green is on approach). Cheers!

Beautiful course in immaculate condition. Bent grass greens are smooth and fast even in August. Fairways are lush and may be the only bent grass fairways in the state of Georgia. The course is in a valley but has plenty of elevation changes. Friendly, helpful staff. Exceptional experience all the way around.

Been coming here for over 40 years, beautiful scenery, golf course is awesome, great place to stay, relax, and get away from the city. Great fishing for the kids

Love this golf course and staying in the community. Course is in immaculate condition and tees times easy to get. The layout is challenging and fun. Greens are rapid and tricky!

We have been coming here for 30 years. It’s usually about 10 degrees cooler than Atlanta which is a nice break from the July heat. If you haven’t been here in a while they built a new clubhouse several years ago. It’s a great spot to celebrate the 4th of July. They set off the fireworks near the 16th fairway which is good viewing from most spots in the valley. The little 4th parade, fire truck ride, and rubber duck creek race are always fun for the kids. Golfing is pretty good, scenic course layout with good fairways. The greens were a little rough but that’s more a factor of golfers who don’t care not repairing their divots.

I don't golf LOL 🤣😆! But less than a mile from the course is the Mud Creek falls, a beautiful scenic water fall!

Always cooler than the lowlands, gorgeous waterfalls, cabins are older but liveable.

Year 5 and I can't imagine any other place more beautiful and serene. I am in love here.

I’ve traveled the world golfing and this is my favorite course. Fun and challenging layout, always great shape and superb greens. Beautiful views everywhere. The time share facility is outstanding - tennis (clay courts also), sauna, hot tubs, pool and a good gym. The waterfall on site is some of the best swimming in the area. Sky Valley is a treasure.
