Tanner Taylor was the most extraordinary waiter....full of knowledge, a beautiful personality, and an excellent server. The food was incredible and the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, especially the scenery outdoors. Julep Farms is a must visit stop if you are in North Georgia.

I loved everything about this place! Atmosphere was laid back, however drink and food quality were top notch, along with the items they sell in the market. Will definitely be back. Chris W. Was our waiter. He was kind, attentive and had a great presence.

Had a perfect dinner sitting outside on the patio. The food was amazing-the Brie appetizer is a must have! The dinner was made even more special due to our great waiter ROSS-he was very attentive and personable. Food is great, setting is perfect-we will definitely be back !

Food and atmosphere are amazing! Loved the wild mushrooms ravioli as well as the seasonal cocktails(apple cider mimosa and sangria) The shop has cute boutique clothes! Best views of the mountains on the outdoor patio.

Man we really enjoy coming here. The food is always amazing. The atmosphere and staff are wonderful. Yah don’t have to flag them down. If your up here this a must go to place.

Make this one of your experiences if you are in the area. Absolutely beautiful views and the food is delicious. Our server Kyndal was attentive and made the whole experience enjoyable. After we ate we went and saw the ponies and were able to pet them. The store has unique items to bring back home or enjoy if you live in the area.

We have wanted to go to Julep Farms for quite a while and decided that would be a great place to celebrate my husband’s birthday, so we went for dinner.
Driving up to the property, there are cozy, new cabins, animals, pastures and gardens. Entering, we walked through a shop with cool and unique items and gift ideas, including beautiful jewelry, clothing, glass and barware, interesting books and all kinds of entertaining items that you never knew you needed but you actually do! There’s a coffee shop and pastries as well that I will definitely have to check out!
The dining room is beautiful and comfortable. We were able to carry on a conversation which was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is relaxing and spacious with tall ceilings, an inviting bar and a beautiful fireplace which was elegantly decorated for the holidays. The views did not disappoint with mountains and a beautiful sky during sunset as the backdrop.
This is also a venue for weddings and other celebrations, but it never felt “venue-y”. The aesthetics, architecture and landscaping were well appointed, upscale and thoughtfully placed. Beautiful environment.
Bren was our waitress and she was super nice, present and did not rush us at any time. We appreciate her genuine personality and eye contact! She described the specials, gave us a moment to peruse the menu (everything looks absolutely amazing) and brought back a nice glass of Aviary Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Delicious! By the way, if you buy a bottle of wine and do not finish it, you can take it home with you. I believe that’s what I was told and I think that is super cool!
We had the Brie appetizer which consisted of smoked walnuts, toasted almonds, pecans, fig and cherry jam, pomegranate, and honey molasses, with grilled ciabatta bread, which was phenomenal. I am still craving! For dinner we had creamy beef and wild mushroom ravioli with a parmesan cream sauce and spinach and chicken paillard with sage brown butter, parmesan gnocchi and sautéed kale. We both got very quiet as we shared and enjoyed the flavors from our main course. Everything was cooked to perfection! Thank you Chef!
To commemorate my husband‘s birthday, Bren brought out chess pie with whipped cream and strawberries, which was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to finish our meal.
We met the owner, Lauren and the Manager, Jeff, both were very personable and kind. Jeff checked in on us to see how things were. No complaints here! Everyone was so accommodating and easy to talk with. It felt like we were enjoying an amazing dinner at a good friends house. So comfortable.
The entire experience from the moment we walked in the front door until we left completely satisfied was such a treat!
Thank you Julep Farms for making my husband’s day so special! We will definitely be back for date night, when friends come in town and when we want to pop in and hang out at the bar for a nice cocktail.
By far, from Clayton and Franklin up to Highlands and Cashiers, Julep Farms is our favorite restaurant. We WILL be back!

We loved the covered porch area facing the mountains. Our server, Malia, was very attentive. The pimento cheese was amazing. The chicken barbecue sandwich was tough but the turkey melt and smash burger were fantastic.

We did a cocktail class in February and Tanner and co. were amazing. It was a great time with tasty drink recipes to take with us! 10/10 recommend

Vanessa was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing. we celebrated our close friends birthday and she made it absolutely amazing and welcome. will definitely come back!! loved the atmosphere and staff!!!!

My wife and I were there for Valentines dinner. It was amazing. The food was outstanding. Definitely 5 star. Our server, Ross, was also outstanding. He was very friendly, but not intrusive, and frequently, but not too frequently, to ensure our dining experience was memorable.

Bridget was amazing! Quick service and super personable! She made the best Blackberry Smash. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm. I loved it.

We have a second home close to Julep and westop by Julep Farms every time we’re in the area. The food is always on point and so flavorful. The atmosphere is open and soothing and offers a memorable dining experience. Our server Tanner was so pleasant and spot on with recommendations. We’ll always come back!!!

Wonderful anniversary weekend!
We dined at Julep Kitchen several times over a weekend in October. Everything was just perfect. The drinks, shrimp and grits, the crawfish fritters and the desserts were all really good. The carrots and Brussels stole the show! We also stayed in one of their cottages which was very nice and super convenient to most of the area attractions including a quick 25 minute drive to Highlands. Rick,Lauren and the whole staff were all very nice and accommodating. Thanks again.

Typically when there’s a large group at a restaurant either the food or service is affected. Not here! Our server, Ross was amazing. Such a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone in the Dillard area. We attended a marriage retreat with our church and the experience added to a great atmosphere and weekend.

On a girls weekend this was the perfect end to a day that was already an 11… this pushed it to 15! Our server Kyndall was exceptional. He’s so pleasant and engaging and the food was just divine. The dining room was a little noisy, but only because it was a fully packed crowd… a wonderful experience, we’ll return .

10 of us went to the Social House for lunch at Julep Kitchen, to check it out, and we were all glad that we did!

We had a variety of the menu options: Parmesan and Truffle Fries, Mixed olives in Herb butter, NC Smoked Trout Dip, Chicken Salad Croissant, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Gigi’s Brie and Bacon Sandwich, Mojo Pork Sandwich, Shrimp and Grits, and a burger. We also had some Bread Pudding for dessert. Very good stuff! The silver cup in one of the pictures is a Rosemary Lemonade Julep, the chocolate swirled whipped cream in a glass is the Chocolatini. Yummy!

The food was all very good and appropriately priced for the quality of food, atmosphere, and presentations. The staff was very friendly and caring. The attached shop is addicting with all of the cool stuff that you will want to take home!

They deliver the check in books that diners have made comments in, which is very cool!

We loved the grounds and buildings. Very well kept, warm and welcoming.

I don’t live nearby, but next time I am in the neighborhood I will definitely stop by for another fantastic time and meal!

I haven’t left a review in a long time. But, I had to after our dinner at Julep Kitchen. It was the most outstanding dinner, service, atmosphere I’ve had in maybe a year or two. We sat on the outside deck with an outdoor fireplace overlooking the field. Bridget was an excellent server. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was creative and delicious and fresh and just perfect! I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Julep Farms. We loved the ambience and overall atmosphere. Our server Chris W was amazing and took great care of us and was extremely attentive to our needs. We are looking forward to future visits!!
