The Clover and the Bee

It's a steadily busy place to have some really great breakfast! Some of the better grits I've had and everyone was super friendly. It felt like a personal touch to the service.

I tried this place today because my usual cafe was closed, and I was not prepared for just how amazing this place was. It’s probably going to be my new usual!! I ordered the frozen chocolate coffee and the breakfast sandwich.

When I tell you I was blown away, I was BLOWN AWAY. The sandwich could not be better of they tried. The bun is perfectly soft, the bacon is perfectly between chewy and crunchy, the eggs are fluffy, and the cheese brings the whole thing together. I ate so much so fast I made myself sick 😂 definitely check this place out as soon as you can!

CELIACS FRIENDS, LISTEN UP!! Not only is this place an absolutely adorable date idea or solo Instagram worthy venture, it's decorated with beautiful murals embellished with gold leaf, BUT it's also super safe for people with celiacs. The gluten free options they offer are unmatched elsewhere. Grab a delicious beverage or even spike your lavender espresso martini! Don't forget the bloody Mary and side of hash browns! Laid-back atmosphere and stupendous, attentive staff! Everyone here cares about what they do!

Excellent food! Happy and wonderful staff! I have eaten here many times and absolutely everything I have eaten has been top notch. I will eat here forever and ever.

Order at the counter and then go sit and wait for your food with your number flag. It’s the only negative I can say about this place. Their system does work well but a full on waiter would be a nice addition.

Honestly, pretty good coffee and food! The atmosphere was way too busy for me personally, but the service was still good, nevertheless!

Wow! The food was superb! This was the first time visiting and the staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee was great as was our avocado toast and strata, but the real star was the morning bun. So delicious - I gotta get that recipe! Outside seating in front and back. Place was clean and tables spaced nicely to allow for conversation.

Great little place to drop in for some food. The salad was excellent as well as the sandwich. You placed the order at a counter but they bring the food with you and the servers still there to help you.

Outstanding, terrific concept, especially the salads (beet salad & shaved brussel sprouts our favs). Should be great for vegan folks too... Great work guys, thank you.

My companion and I were entranced with this beautiful restaurant. Right away the aesthetic and vibe of all the decor and design was so striking to us, we were in awe and absolutely loved the look of everything. The speed of service was very quick, and the food itself was absolutely delightful. I very much enjoyed the salmon bagel which came with a cucumber caper salad and poached eggs (ordered extra) on the side. My companion got a sandwich which he loved as well, we can’t remember but pretty sure it was a roast pork sandwich with chips on the side. The only downside is that he wished that he would have been given an option of sides to choose from instead of the chips which he didn’t know he would be getting. They don’t have a side menu that we found, every entrée comes with its own side dish… I guess you could ask to switch it up but it is an unusual way of doing things. However I did enjoy my cucumber side. We were very tempted to get a third round of drinks but due to the pricing we decided against it, although we will definitely be revisiting! I was also impressed with the variety of syrups they offered for lattes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen almond, cardamom, orange, and other unique flavors offered anywhere else. It made for a very good almond caramel latte that I got.
With the gorgeous interior and exterior dining areas, the quick service and delicious food that comes beautifully plated, the delightful coffee drinks, we will definitely be coming back very soon. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful experience!

Lovely place, food and staff.

Great dine in experience as it is a quaint place. You get a table then order at the counter. Ended up getting the strata and the spicy mocha latte. The strata was delicious paired with the cheese sauce underneath. Not too heavy of a meal and was the perfect meal for brunch. Also got a spicy mocha latte, and it was surprisingly good. A great mix of spicy, sweet, and bitter. It is a lovely treat and would love to come back again when I get the chance!

The Clover & The Bee is one of my favorite brunch spots in STL! Everything on the menu is delicious and the counter service makes the atmosphere very laidback. They don't take reservations - get there early!
MY FAVS: Cold Smoked Salmon, Chopped Salad, Slushy White Sangria

This is a wonderful exeprience all around. The staff was very friendly, and the food was great. You will hse to feel out seating when you arrive. The sign says pick a table and then order at the counter, but someone was seating people te day we went. Don t cut in front of anyone accidentally! The were out of the juices hat say, but the food was great. The brussel's sprouts salad was unexpected sweet and delicious, and the breakfast sandwich was hearty!

Yummy food! I had the cold turkey sandwich with avocado. Very fresh and flavorful. The sesame bread had a good texture to it. So big I couldn't finish it all... but I did manage a chocolate croissant, which was very nice with my vanilla latte.

This place is fabulous. The biscuits and gravy was one of the best I've ever had in my life. The other foods (breakfast sandwich and ricotta toast) were also well reviewed. I definitely will be coming back to try other items.

I love their grits and roasted sweet potato salad!

THE BREAKFAST SANDWICH AND THE CINNAMON ROLL!!! Absolute perfection!! Love the vibe indoors, but the sidewalk cafe is giving Paris. It will be super busy on the weekends, so you might have to take it to go or find a sidewalk bench nearby. And I haven't even mentioned the frozen palomas yet ;) Do what you can to eat here because it's phenomenal!

Lovely little place for brunch or lunch. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and everything is spotlessly clean. Service was good and the food was delicious. I had a feta and onion scone, my husband had one of the breakfast items and my son had a sandwich. Everything was great. The gentleman who brought our drinks and cleared our plates was SO nice. I wish I lived in St. Louis so I could go regularly. I would happily eat here every week if I could.

We made reservations for 7 PM on a Saturday and arrived 15 minutes early got seated right away which is always good .
Service was excellent. Allie i believe was her name was very knowledgeable about both the food and the drinks .
Was slighted surprised that there wasnt any off the menu specials for the night but the food we had was superb. We had the gnocchi and fonduta for appetizers. The fonduta was so good I asked for a spoon to eat the rest of it . Had the short ribs for my entree . Was excellent . Very tender and flavorful. I tried my wifes tuna entree . Also very good

SO DELICIOUS! What a beautiful place- so upset I didn’t know it was a thing before! I had the grits with tomatoes, poached eggs, and bread. What wonderful flavors!

I can't say enough good things about the Clover and the Bee. We we're recommended by Oak and Olive staff and they were spot on. The spare ribs were out of this world. We had the cheese board with red dragon cheese, if they have it you should try it. Also the meat balls were delicious.
