Safeway

The pharmacy was quick and the pharmacist was very friendly. The self check out was fast and easy. Only problem was the shopping cart Wheels locked up going out the door

Usually has what I need. I prefer other grocery stores though because the ability to scan while shopping isn't available here.

I can take nothing from our Safeway. I think it is a nice Safeway. the food is fresh, the atmosphere is nice and is open around the clock or at least it's been open every time I needed something. kudos Kudos kudos. Keep up the good work and I will recommend this store to anyone who needs something during the day or night. Mind you I have been to some grocery store's that I wouldn't send my dog. this is not one of them. this is really nice.

I ordered a cake from the bakery last week for a very special occasion. We are celebrating July Birthdays and decided to do a "Christmas in July" theme cake here at my workplace. I picked the cake up this morning and cannot tell you how wonderful the (2) staff persons were.
I first met Vicki who greeted me with a big smile and a Good Morning! She was so delightful and very personable. When she brought the cake out and I saw how beautifully decorated it was, she shared the name of the decorator, Brandon. As it turned out, Brandon was coming down the aisle toward the bakery. I shared my enthusiasm with him and thanked him for the beautiful decorating!!
I write this review because I don't believe folks get enough praise for the good work that they do. I did not want to miss an opportunity to say Thank You to them both for what I would consider a job well done!

I like this location. You walk in to the smell of fresh seafood and I personally love that. Lines can be long. However, there is a self-checkout section and I just love the different departments offered here. From a Starbucks's Kiosk, a bakery, florist dept, meats dept, pharmacy, etc. More selection over all. One stop shop for most of your daily needs!

Love this store, staff very friendly and helpful. And Safeway has added many new items they did not have in the past! Keep up the good work!

I go every week between 6 & 7 am on Fridays. The staff is hustling at that hour, they are checking dates, restocking, and marking down everywhere, so when I pass they all greet me. Matt, the cashier is always cheerful.

With all the changes to stock because of the Albertson's buyout, the staff is helpful when I can't find something and even take comments and suggestions to forward up the chain to corporate.

Great place to shop. Always amply stocked with a variety of items for purchase. This store is clean inside and outside & the associates are courteous and always willing to assist customers.

Laplata Safeway always clean and stocked. Friendly staff. I have always felt prices were too high, but still chose to shop because of all else I listed. Floral department is the best and better than most florists I've used, and I buy a lot from Safeway floral for no special occasion at all. I don't like the price hikes even more during promotions and games, best to wait to shop or go to another chain. At this point, I find it a rip off. Due to the economy I am shopping at a few stores to save money and only hit Safeway for my meats and veggies. I like the gas discounts. This price issue is also true pre-Covid and Biden.

Super impressed. They have a wine cellar and the most gorgeous flower displays. They have clean bathrooms and a salad and soup bar. They have a store card to save money. And great prices. I can't get over the flowers and the wine though. 😍😍

LOVE the workers here and when anything is on clearance!!

My wife shop's there every weekend for great selection of bread and butter and ice cream, especially "Breyer's Vanilla" ice cream on sale. They advertise, buy one, get one or two free. They also have their own gas station and convenient store for items for road trips or boating and carry snacks and drinks, ice for beverage coolers. Cart return areas in the parking lot. A great place to shop and save money.😁🥰🤓😎

This is my most favorite Safeway in Charles County, I'm a native so I've been to them all. This branch is off of the busy highway, always clean, has a pleasant and helpful staff, and is always stocked with what I need. Although I live on the other side of MD-301, I will continue to travel the extra distance to MY Safeway!

The store is organized, clean, and staff are friendly and helpful.

It's opened 24/7/365, which is a big plus for very busy people with irregular schedules. Prices are usually higher than other comparable supermarkets, so being a club member helps you get extra discounts on already reduced items (and gas).

I love shopping at Safeway. The produce is always so fresh.
Employees are very helpful and curtious.

Wonderful Safeway. They is plenty of free parking. It is located at a shopping center along with their Safeway brand gas station, along with a SunTrust Bank© on site with tellers, ATM, and a Starbucks©. The shopping center it self has a CVS, Family Dollar, Texas style ribs restaurant, carry-out and many more. Safeway is always in stock, clean anf staff is friendly. Their self check out runs smoothly most of the time.

The service is amazing , the staff is super friendly and helpful. The organization of the store is beautiful , everything is clean , tidy and fresh. Definitely my favorite place to buy groceries

Believe we're not this is still a Safeway it's always been a safeway. And unlike giant food it had corn beef the day before Saint Patrick's day!
