Joe Vera's Mexican Restaurant

I was a bit skeptical about this place at first. Based on wherein was and the size of the place from the outside. But I have to say I was blown away and was completely wrong about this place. It was an experience illnever forget. The food service and atmosphere were all great. Seated and served quickly with. A pleasant waitres who deserves all of the tips. And food that I was prepared to write off as fairly standard Mexican food. But I must say this is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. And I will be coming back here any chance I get. I recommend their burritos or their fish tacos. All of which were superb. A great place to come and eat. 10/10

Great find in Provo! Mexican food was awesome and the shrimp tacos were so flavorful and delicious! The grilled onions and peppers were prepared with careful perfection! Our waitress Julia was so thoughtful and kind. She recommended these amazing dishes!

#JoeVerasMexicanFiestaurant does what most Mexican restaurants do and give you chips and salsa, which I’m ok to skip, but since they were there I enjoyed them. They do a good salsa, that has some kick. I ordered the lunch special. Half Portion Of El Bandido served with a homemade sweet Anaheim Chile Relleno, stuffed with Monterrey Cheese, smothered with green Chile sauce, topped with Lettuce, Sour cream, and fresh Guacamole. It was really tasty and I took half of it home to eat later. Their #GreenSauce is a bit more spicy then most verde sauces, so I was happy. The special was covered in melted cheese, which really makes this cheese freak squeal with delight. I got a tasty beverage to enjoy with my meal a #RaspberryMargarita always nice to find a restaurant that serves alcohol in Utah County. It even had the requisite sign on the door saying it was a restaurant and not a bar. Lol

Great place to eat Mexican food! The side salsa and chips they give at the beginning was delicious and not spicy! Parking is a bit difficult to find but atmosphere is great!

Great little Mexican restaurant. There was no wait during lunch to get seated, but had to wait a little bit to get our food. The food was great, the service was awesome. We will definitely go back next time we are in Provo. We had their fajitas for one combination plate with burrito and enchilada and their nachos.

Food was great. The waiter was funny.
I got the fajitas and the chicken was cooked right. The flour tortillas were good and not too thick. The corn tortillas were pretty broken, so I wouldn't recommend the corn tortillas.
The tres combo appetizer was very good.
I would get the taquitos if I went again.
The quesadilla was pretty good. Everyone loves the jalapeno poppers.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing! Friendly, helpful and had good recommendations based on individual preferences. The atmosphere and food were great, and they were able to easily accommodate our group of 8. The portions and quality are great!

My family had a planning meeting at this restaurant for my birth mother's funeral services. The service was very prompt quality of the food absolutely amazing. The wait staff made sure to get our orders correct by double-checking. They also made sure that we had enough of the fresh chips and salsa. The only issue I have with this restaurant is there's not always enough parking. The prices are very reasonable. A great place for a quick bite to eat. Or take a date or like me if you have to plan a major event this is the place to do it. Our family had come there for generations grandparents on my dad's side than my birth mom and dad took me. I hope to someday be able to take someone very special when I find them.

Chips and Salsa amazing. Huge portions. They bring out more baskets of chips that the average Mexican restaurant and extra pitchers of salsa in case you run out.

So good! I got the taco salad which came in a fried tortilla. It was SO GOOD. my friend got the carne asada burrito and liked it

Service was fast. I ordered the carne asada plate. It was delicious and the steak was very flavorful. The drink cups were large enough to not necessitate a refill, a refreshing change of pace. The ambiance is comfortable and warm.

Driving through and decided to stop and eat. The waitress was so pleasant and sweet. Wish I got her name. The food was delicious and we left very satisfied!

The food was fresh and amazing! The staff got hit with a conference that had just let out and weren't aware of. They did a great job at seating people and getting them taken care of. The staff was friendly and it was a great atmosphere.

The food was amazing, the tastiest food we had in two weeks over in Lehi and Salt Lake City. The waiter, Thomas, was super helpful, friendly and made our experience memorable and enjoyable. We will definitely take a drive to Provo just to taste the delicious fajitas, burritos and margarita! Visit Joe Vera's restaurant - you won't be disappointed.

AMAZING! The restaurant is kept very clean, and they were super quick. Our food was at the table within 5 minutes of sitting down. The salsa was also amazing! Not too spicy, but still there, it was perfect. The food was super good as well.

Their chips and salsa are outstanding. The rest of the food is very good.

This is my Friday night spot. Or lunch spot. Or whenever you want to eat. Get the stuffed jalapeño with cheese you will like it. Drinks are always full and people are nice. They will always recommend something good and make sure you like what you ordered. Get some.

I buy their chips and salsa to go when I'm making Mexican food. So yummy 😋

The food was delicious and hot--not too spicy. The server was friendly and attentive but didn't "hover". I was there with a dear friend that I hadn't seen in years. We were seated in an area that wasn't subject to much of the commotion/liveliness of a Mexican restaurant. It was very nice. It made for a pleasant evening.

Quick and friendly. Great chips and salsa with take out orders too.
