Dennis Point Marina and Campground

Brought our trailer down to scout for work. I teach kayaking. This is a good location for my job. The only reason it’s not a five star is I couldn’t get cell reception which makes it hard to plan outings. (Edit, got a hub with an antenna and we are all good now!) That’s not the campground’s fault, I guess I need an antenna! We camped in the field. Paid for pump out on Sunday. Loved Capt Pat’s for dinner. Have already booked a workshop there this spring. My students appreciate the lower rates of camping versus renting a hotel or house. Boat ramp is well maintained and an easy launch for kayakers.

Captain Pat has done it again. Loved his place in Lexington Park, now at Dennis Point. The food is excellent with prices that will rock your world. Thank you Pat for bringing your service back to the St. Mary's county.

Amazing experience. Friendly staff, clean area, so much to do. We stayed in transient rv camping. There are seasonals there as well. Check your phone service, we have Verizon and t mobile and we barely had signal, even with a booster. It's a great place to take vacation and stay disconnected from work. We enjoyed the dog park, local wines at captain pats, and meeting new friends. Thanks Ashley and Mary. It was great meeting you both!

Dinner was great! Chicken wings were great! And the steamer pot with shrimp, crab legs, potatoes and corn was amazing! Service was fast and prices were fair! We will be back for sure.

The People were nice & friendly. The campground is in a nice spot on the water. Ate at the pub restaurant. The food was good. Had a wonderful time. Especially with my friends who I don't see enough of. They have the nicest green cultivated grass.

We camped there. The best part was lunch at Captain Pat's. Awesome food!! We'll be eating there when we go back at the end of summer.

Love the warm welcome, the the atmosphere and service was awesome. Food fresh and hot. My family and friends enjoy it. We will visit again soon.

Excellent marina with all facilities and transient space for an easy docking to stop in for lunch. The restaurant is a good place to stop for a bite while cruising the St. Marys river. Good food, friendly staff.

We have a camper at Dennis Point and must say the new owners have really made a difference. The location has always been beautiful but the new owners have added so much! (we've been there about 8 years).

The camp ground is more organized and the campers and boaters are just generally more happy and content. Now you can rent golf carts, cabins, boats, kayaks and more. The camp ground is filled up more then any other time yet it doesn't seem crowded.

Pat and Bill have really added to the camp as well. They cater to us all in many ways and are such nice and giving people. They run the Valet Camping that really makes it easy especially for families and large groups. They also run the outdoor movies and so much more! To. Or stop by and ask.

The new owners support the Semper Fi Fund. We have a son in the US Marines and really appreciate the support businesses like this give.

Very nice campground with lots of room. There is also a Marina/boat ramp and Capt Pat's restaurant. The remote location makes it a great getaway place. They have hookups for RV's and tent sites with picnic tables and fire pits. Will definitely come here to campout again.

We just use the boat ramp to launch our boat to fish in the St Mary's river. The marina is always clean and the people friendly. The boat ramp has some hole and could use some work.

We have been going here since 1986. A wonderful family campground. There is a great waterfront restaurant there, Captain Pat's!!!

Crab cake and fries were delicious. Service was awesome. I will be back.
