Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store

I love this goodwill! It's clean and tidy which makes thrifting so much more pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially my favorite employee Melba! She graciously explained the color sale system they use and signed me up to help save me money! I'm always greeted by her happy hello when I visit, which is a plus. Can we get more employees like Melba in Waldorf please???

Ms. Melba, located at the Goodwill Store in Waldorf, MD, is one of the most welcoming associate that I’ve met at the store. Melba sets the atmosphere as soon as you enter the store. Her personality and genuine “Welcome” is top notch. Melba provides outstanding customer service upon checkout. She always offer compliments on my purchases and gives great ideas.
I appreciate Melba’s service and grateful for building a camaraderie with a great person.

My playsister (Ro) and I visited the Goodwill store in Waldorf after dropped off another play sister who lived in LaPlata, Maryland. There was much traffic down Branch Ave to rte 301 both ways! I absolutely love this Goodwill store. It has changed. I always see new things and I believe there must be a store donating items because I found a particular new dress (style) in various beautiful colors in each size! Unfortunately I was only looking for greeting cards. My sista was looking for a vest like too. I also spotted the most beautiful motivational wall plaques and signs! I was in a strict budget so I could not purchase some of the other magnificent finds! I will come back asap! Great store! Bright! Colorful! Clean! Organized! Nice prices! Super staff team!!!

I love this location! My family and I have been going for years and we love everyone there. Melba is one of our favorite employees there and my kids literally look for her every time we visit! She's funny, super helpful, and always helps us when we shop. Definitely our favorite place in Waldorf!

LOVE Shopping at this particular Goodwill staff are so friendly and sweet and I’m there 2 times a week. Each time I come in Miss Mia greats me by my 1st name she’s the best!!! Go see Mia for the BEST Customer Service EVER!!!

Love the customer service at this Store! I was in this particular Goodwill on a Sunday and I came across a new pair of Rollerskates that were nicely priced, initially I was hesitant on the purchase but I asked a gentleman, Kendrick who was also the Manager if he could hold them.for me while I went to my vehicle in search of payment, the store was buys but very organized and I appreciated the fact that he did not have to hold the skates for me., but he did. I returned fairly quickly and made my way toward the skates. Can you Kendrick recognized that I had returned and he said I have those skates for you. He was very patient in ringing up the sale. And wished me a Fantastic rest of tyhe day. I explained that I was a frequent customer and that it's nice to receive excellent service. Thank you Kendrick! I'll definitely be back!

Consistently, Melba has been warm and friendly, handles rushes well, and knows how to move crowds along. I shop here often and have witnessed Melba turn long lines into short ones rather quickly, wearing a smile.

I always have a pleasant experience whenever I go into this retail store. Everything is always organized I always find what I need although they are short staffed their service is still fast. And they are very friendly. Never had a rough moment with any with any bad customer service. Thx y'all!! ❤

Most of the toys I’ve bought for my daughter have come from here. In good condition and sometimes with the batteries still good. I can’t be mad at the clothes selection and sizing because it’s based on taste and your surroundings, but it’s probably kinder to kids, men, and women with a slightly older/classic style.

Have dropped off many of my baby’s clothes and a few of my own plus other findings.

Clothing were in great condition and a lot of shoppers loaded up on the special color tag additional (75% off) discount that was announced during my visit. Excitement and throngs kept rolling in.

Love coming here for things. I got a bakers rack and a nice loveseat as well. Me and my wife come and visit just about every weekend just to see what good things we can find. I recommend anyone looking for vintage or nice things to give them a try. You might find a gem in the rough like we have.

Always find great stuff here... The staff is always helpful & polite. Store's clean too. Definitely recommend if you enjoy thrift store shopping like me!!
