Tucker's Place

Best place for a good steak at a very reasonable price. Tuckers place has been a well known restaurant in the St. Louis area for many years. Their service and quality of food is always consistently good. We had a family member that was taking about going and they changed their mind so my wife a I decided we were still going. Man am I happy we went the surf and turf was perfect and I had left overs. If you're in the mod for a good steak tuckers is a great causal restaurant.

I went on a Tuesday when they have their prime rib special. I got the 16 oz option. They also have a 24 oz option. It was cooked to perfection!

Service was prompt starting with rolls, real butter, crackers, and a garden salad. I chose the lemon pepper house vinaigrette and was not disappointed. The dressing and salad were great.

For my main side dish, I chose a baked potato. Loaded baked potatoes are extra. With the size of the prime rib, I decided simple was best. It turned out to be a wise choice as I had no room for dessert.

Service was very prompt. I was there about 4 pm. Decor is a mix between antiques to hunting lodge to everything in between. They could use a little more lighting in the area.

Service was excellent. Waitresses we're super friendly, and very attentive. Cool atmosphere I like the brick and how certain tables were in little alcoves....
The food was absolutely delicious my mom enjoyed the pizza, while my Dad got the 16oz. Filet and potato. Both were incredibly satisfied. I had the New York strip w/potato and vegetables (instead of the salad). The steak was huge, tender and satisfying. I couldn't even finish my sides and it pains me when I can't finish my food. I hate asking for boxes.... I did so sadly.
If you're interested in steak. It is an STL MUST. I will recommend to everyone.

Good restaurants, was looking for a nice burger joint. I've never been here before but have seen it a few times. The appetizer was good (fried mushroom and toasted ravioli). Sorry, took the picture after we had eaten most of it. The burger itself was good, definitely more on the rare side than I asked for, but it's Friday night and busy. Same with the service, it was good, but I think our waitresses forgot us for about 30 minutes. Overall, I liked it and would go there again

My son and I came here before seeing a movie. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks. He had a long Island tea, which was very good and I had a GREAT margarita! My son had a fish sandwich and fries which looked amazing and he said was delicious. I wasn't hungry so I didn't order food, but everything that was coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled incredible!

The service was friendly and efficient. A few servers knew my son on a first name basis, which tells me that they care about their customers and want them to feel comfortable and relaxed while dining there.

Overall it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back!

Went here with my husband and daughter, it was so good! The food was phenomenal, we got the jalapeno poppers, toasted rav's, 10 oz sirloin, with potatoes and house salad with the works. All of it was cooked just right and not only did it taste good but the service was splendid! Our waitress Carol was amazing and very attentive, honestly probably some of the best service I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. The prices on the food are also worth the portion sizes, so I would definitely recommend this 10/10! I will definitely be returning in the future :)

Food, service and pricing is great! Some of the best in the area, always packed for a reason.

We love Tuckers but this trip was not as good. 2 of us received our entrees and our other 2 guests waited for a pizza the entire time while we ate our meals. Then we waited for them. Food was great but this timing was really bad.

We had a fantastic steak. The Carmel glaze is awesome. Our server was a little busy, so we had to wait a little bit. Other than that, Tucker’s is a great place to eat. The atmosphere is also neat.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here with my family. Everything was fantastic, and our server went over and above for us. The food was delicious and came out quickly. Great experience!

Place is Great! I have been frequently going here recently. Usually sit at the bar ,both of the bartenders are awesome. The steak is always cooked perfectly, and the veggies side is seasoned and delicious.

Everything was wonderful. I wish I could remember our waitresses name. She was awesome. We had to wait a bit to be seated, but it was worth it. Will definitely be back.

A short wait for delicious food. The service was what you would expect from a sit down dinner. Our table was checked on and accommodated often and never went without.

Pizza was good but the potato skins were great!!! But the best part was Debbie's amazing service. she was quick to help me with the all the specials and details also I don't think my glass water of water ever hit the bottom. she made the experience quite delightful!!!!!

Hands down the best meal and service I've had in a while! My server, "Brooke" was AMAZING! The steak (20oz Porterhouse) melted in my mouth! Everything was hot, presented quickly and cooked to perfection. Everyone worked as a team and made the experience memorable. "Hailey", kept everything flowing and complimented Brooke well! I will definitely be back... Thank You!!!

Went there for my Dads Birthday, had Mike as our server and he took fantastic care of us. It was our first time going, we got Sirloins and Ribeyes with Salads and Baked Potatoes. Definitely will be back!

Our server was on top of absolutely everything while also making us laugh throughout our dinner. Combine that with a delicious steak and fully loaded baked potato at fair prices - 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had never been to this location. Ways went to the one Downtown STL. Loved the staff and the food. I had the lemon pepper tilapia and my partner had the Filet Mignon for National Filet Mignon Day. Mine was good, but his (Filet)was amazing. Will definitely go back next time for a steak.
