Captain Pat’s Seafood

Went here by boat with a VERY large group for father's day dinner. Although they don't take reservations, we called ahead and while there was a small wait (it WAS father's day after all), we were all seated together within about 20 minutes. Orders were quickly taken, they stayed on top of drink orders (of which there were many), and the food came out surprisingly fast. They were out of a couple of things (did I say it WAS Father's Day), but they went out of their way to make everyone happy, even hand cutting potatoes for fries. THE FOOD WAS AAAAAAAMAZING!! Living on the river, I am pretty picky about crab cakes, but they were absolutely wonderful as was everything we (collectively) had. It was a unanimously good experience for all 22 of us and a fantastic Father's Day for all the dads. Not many places like this still out there - a true southern Maryland seafood joint. I will definitely go out of my way to return here!!

Got a to go special with a 1/2 bushel, 1 lb steamed shrimp, dozen hush puppies, and 4 sides. The only complaint is that the 4 sides are tiny, like toddler sized portions. The size of the sides doesn't really match the quantity of the rest of the food. We got a good laugh sharing just bites of the sides between 4 adults.

2nd visit top notch customer service. Last time we had a group of 12 and we had a great time. This time we reserved for a group of 40 and had a great time again! Captain Pat's doesn't miss a beat regardless of party size. A hidden gem with great food (with choices for the non seafood type) in a great location with awesome staff and service!! And it's an awesome place because there's a fellow Master Chief Chick Chief there 💯!!!

If you're looking for a true Southern Maryland seafood restaurant this is it. It has crabs oysters and everything else and very reasonably priced. Everything was delicious and the servers are really fun. On Fridays and Saturdays it can get really crowded and crazy but worth it.

Stopped by Captain Pat's Seafood today. Indoor & Outdoor seating option is very nice! Outdoor seating & bar overlooking the water and swimming pool. Very quaint, fun, and family oriented. Such a fabulous little restaurant! Food was fantastic!

I can't praise this place enough! The owners are amazing people. My family has eaten here many times over the last several years and never one complaint. Always friendly service with a smile, a welcoming atmosphere and the food is delicious!

Tessa was awesome as always as our server! Beautiful day to sit on their outside deck and enjoy a delicious seafood meal. Never had a bad meal. Food is always hot and tasteful!

Oh how I've missed Capt Pat's outside gate 2. This was a pleasant surprise to find Capt Pat's at the Marina. Had a nice seafood combo and an excellent sunset. This is a great getaway place for date night that is out of town enough to fully relax.

The food is great. You can gorge yourself with fried food or choose the healthier side. I recommend the crab cakes with a local beer. There is a lot of food, so save room for dessert. You could also just get the desert and pair it with a local Maryland wine. Lunch specials are a good deal.

We keep returning to Capn Pat’s Seafood for over 30+ years (we live in the Midwest USA). They have a great menu to select from and can handle large parties (with reservations); the food is always prepared to perfection, and the service is fantastic.

p.s. we also visit family while in Sourhern, Maryland. :D

Very comfy country spot down by the water. Always great service and friendly faces. Good for all age groups that appreciate seafood.

Beautiful surround of the water, pool and kids play ground. Food was fresh and delicious. The staff were so kind and never in a rush. The gift shop has cute items. Just the drive to Captain Pat's is scenic and enjoyable.

Great local seafood restaurant offering many seafood favorites including crabs, shrimp, scallops, etc. Highly recommend their crab specials. Several local beers on tab and friendly service.

Fantastic blue crabs! If your looking the crabs in the shell this is the place to go! Hush puppies and oysters on the half shell were great too.

Came for my dad's birthday, food was excellent and filling, service was outstanding. Definitely going back.

We visited for a late lunch/early dinner and ate out on the deck. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Ashley (owner) provided excellent service and the food was amazing. Our 1.5 year old daughter loved running around the deck while we finished up eating. I HIGHLY recommend the clam strips--by far the freshest I've ever had!

My fiancé, small daughter, & I truly love captain pats. Beautiful location you can enjoy a walk on the dock after you eat... if you’re not too stuffed. Nice outdoor seating with a bar area inside and out. The entire staff including kitchen are great people! Tessa is usually our server, she remembers our food & drink orders and never leaves your cup empty regardless of how busy they are. Ashley Is just as awesome and very personable! You can come in with a large party or a small party and still receive great service! Cap pats is top tier and a gem in the county.

OMG Pat, fantastic job with the new place!This is such an awesome outdoor & indoor place to eat. Your menu is full with a lot of choices. Located at the marina, slips close by with views of the creek leading to St. Mary's River.

FYI - Come hungry, because Capt. Pat's food portions will not dissapoint!
