Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Fort Belvoir Alexandria South

Rooms are nicely appointed and designed with function in mind. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. My room was cleaned and made even when I wasn't expecting it. I especially give a shout-out to the breakfast food service supervisor. She is on top of everything, ensuring everything is full and guest needs/desires are met. She stopped by each table individually every morning to see if everything was to our standards and ask if there was anything we needed. When the dining room was so crowded that there was no place to social distance, she opened a second dining area for seating. Outstanding service; better than any place we've ever stayed, inc luxury hotels.

The room I stayed in was extremely clean and well kept. The receptionists at the front check-in desk were lovely and professional. The beds felt like sleeping on a cloud and the added work desk was a nice convenient touch. I will definitely be staying at this location again. Oh, the breakfast was fantastic! 🤤

This is our go-to place to stay in Alexandria, mainly because of the location, but also because of the staff. We have yet to meet a person who doesn't genuinely seem to enjoy their job, especially the woman in charge of the breakfast service.
The only issue I noticed during this stay was a strange smell in the hallways. It wasn't offensive, just odd.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The pricing was reasonable, and the modern ambiance of the entire building impressed me. It was impeccably clean. The staff was not just friendly but also highly informative, guiding me to the best parking spot and entrance. The room was spacious, and I loved the convenience of being able to see my car from the bed. The walk-in shower was a delightful touch, making my overall experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a pleasant stay at the hotel. The front desk staffs were friendly and attentive, Mary also love dog and always have a good time with her.

The buffet staff was consistently excellent and welcoming.

I stayed here for a prolonged training event nearby. This place is clean, comfortable, and the staff embraces a great service ethic. The location is convenient to public transit and (given DC area traffic) about as well as one can do for driving to different parts of the NCR.

My family and I loved this hotel, the staff were very helpful. The rooms were very clean and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. We even enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Ms. Little was so helpful from touring the hotel, helping to pick out a appropriate size room my daughter’s slumber party. The pool was fully stocked with towel to accommodate my daughter and her friends. I have no complaints, everyone loved the hotel.

Great price, room was very clean, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. It's hard to just go off online reviews to select a hotel while on the road but this definitely was a good choice. I also like that they have soap/shampoo/conditioner and body lotion on wall mounted pumps so you can actually get enough product instead of tiny bottles. Nice neighborhood and felt safe. Has enough outlets to charge all of my devices and then some.

My choice for my Staycation. Perfect location in regards to several tourist attractions in the Mount Vernon Virginia area. My room was comfortable and very clean. This hotel has been remodeled and it shows. It's beautiful. Hotel was peaceful and quiet. I slept soundly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The Peloton bike was a great add on. Breakfast was hot and delicious with several choices. Great stay.

We arrived at the hotel in the middle of a snowstorm and we had two electric bikes on a carrier. We cleaned up the bikes as best we could and Elaine at the front desk let us store the two bikes in an old meeting room. Then she helped us put garbage bags under the bikes to catch any remaining snow. Unbelievable customer service! It was also really close to the Auto Train for our trip the next morning.

My company just switched to this hotel and we already love them! A big shout out to Mary at the front desk for being so nice, helpful, and answering all the questions I had. Her customer service was amazing and I really appreciated it after the bad experiences I have had using other hotels. I would recommend this hotel to companies in the area looking to book rooms for their employees!

I am not one to leave reviews! Customer Service here is EXCEPTIONAL! The cleanliness of the hotel and the smell of christmas trees stepping into the elevator made the stay awesome. Everytime u walk into the lobby u are greeted with a smile and they do housekeeping every day. I have to say that this is probably one of the best stay ive had and i stayed for 12 days on a work trip. Amazing! ❤❤❤💌

One of our BEST Hampton stays in 10 years of travelling. We had a 4 day/3-night sojourn while visiting the area. Hotel was super clean, not just our room but everywhere in hotel, staff courtesy and helpfulness was far above normal expectations; Will definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect, the room was great the breakfast was actually pretty good and the woman there made it even better she was awesome made sure everything was stocked if you needed anything she was right there to make sure to help out with anything. The room service was great they really clean the room better than other hotels I've stayed in. I love Hampton inn and will continue to stay there as long as they accept pet's, which this one does. They couldn't have done anything better it was all perfect, thank you everyone who works here making this a really great stay!

Standard Hampton Inn stay, great breakfast and everything as usual, but just the friendliest staff we've ever interacted with at any hotel ever!

Staff was awesome 👍. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was amazing. Very comfortable beds. My kids slept really good. The pool was awesome . If I had to change one thing maybe a little less noisy ac . But my kids actually slept good so I didn't take any points away for that. Perfect stay.

I stayed here for eight days in the middle of a stressful PCS. The stay here made my PCS much less stressful. This Hampton Inn is located close to a lot of great restaurants and Fort Belvoir, so it's ideal for anyone who is just moving to the area and/or anyone who is being stationed in the Northern Virginia area.

When I arrived, the front desk personnel upgraded me to a larger suite which I really appreciated due to the duration of my stay. My room was comfortable and a respite to come back to each day after working on moving into my house. Thank you for all your support!

If you want to stay in DC, but don’t want to be too close to the city, this is the hotel for you. Even though we had a little commute to DC, it was worth it. The staff, room, and amenities were spot on and we had zero issues during our stay.
