We stay here often! Staff is awesome! Friendly, and family oriented. I recommend this hotel to any one staying in the area!

Great view from our balcony. The staff was very accommodating.

Took a day trip here to visit the local attractions and thought the stay was very comfortable. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very spacious with separate bedrooms and living areas. The hotel has its own pier and the restaurant next door has great drinks! We had a beautiful view of the sunset from our room which was well worth the price.

Furnishing are a little worn but clean and pleasant laid back atmosphere. Great customer service. Nice restaurant next door. Very pleased.

This place is a gem, off the beaten path, with everything you need plus epic water views nearly 360°. This means both sunrise and sunset over the water...amazing. It's not anywhere near a city (thank goodness) with one restaurant (excellent) right next door. The staff was most helpful and friendly, and the morning breakfast was more than sufficient. It's perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation (what we did). We'll definitely be back!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very accommodating and had a beautiful view. Price was reasonable. Only complaint was location...only one road leading in and out. Happened to be a serious car accident on the road as we were leaving the area and we had to return to the hotel to "wait it out". Not the hotel's fault. Just something to be aware of.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. My room was clean and beautiful view from the balcony. Room came with a separate sitting area and refrigerator and microwave. In the cabinet's there were cups and glasses and plates and utensils. Separate vanity and shower area and the water pressure was amazing. Right next to the only restaurant in the area. The hotel had bikes and a beautiful Fishing Pier. Every Hotel employee we encountered was helpful and friendly. We were so happy they had breakfast because there's nothing else around. We made our own waffles which were delicious and they also had muffins and bagels Etc. Coffee and tea were available too. I saw the employees working hard to keep the breakfast area clean and stocked. Hotel is only about 15 minutes away from historic St Mary's City. Thank you for peaceful stay

I'm a local to southern md so deciding to stay at this property was on the top of my list considering i would b celebrating my 40th bday during my stay && wanted to be tucked away on the water to bring in the springs ng season. NOTHING less than exceptional customer service I received from the moment I made my reservation a few days prior, to the few moments spent checking in as well during my stay. when I checked in, I was greeted by the desk attendant bailee who was bursting with energy && a inviting personality. she completed the check-in process in a timely manner as well as informed me of the rules && policies for the property & made sure me/my guest understood && all questions were answered. once upstairs to my room, I fell in love ❤ the decor and the color scheme made me felt right at home. I absolutely loved the design of the room and the view from the balcony at night. bailee even helped by offering a few mins of conversation && laughter when I came down to the lobby distraught that I left my purse at the restaurant where I went to dinner at earlier. I'm now employed in healthcare but was in the service industry for almost 11yrs now && was impressed with the display of customer service shown by the staff during my stay. I noticed there was also sumbody tidying up the breakfast area while I was making sumthing to eat shortly before we checked out. everything was so clean, fresh && nothing was expired or out of date.

I DEFINITELY will be making future reservations at this property

I loved this place it was a great little weekend getaway for hubby and I. We had the view of the water and pier got up early and watched the sunrise from our balcony. It is very secluded but has a lovely restaurant next door a lighthouse museum up the road and let's not forget just the astounding views!

Surprisingly nice rooms for an inexpensive place. Nice dock/pier for fishing. They had a kayak but don't let the guests use it. Breakfast area is small but has all the necessary things. Lots of water but no swimming available anywhere. Everything is private property. There is a restaurant beside the hotel but that wasn't open. No other places to eat. Beautiful area and peaceful. For a place to go by the water and relax this is ideal.

Very relaxing stay. Wish we booked an extra night. Views are amazing . The lady at front desk is very nice. Bath and body works in bathroom. Hotel could use some cosmetic updates but overall in good condition. Breakfast area had a good selection . Only waffles and toaster for hot meal.
Bike rental.

Best place to visit during Fall season when it's more quiet. The views are spectacular, very clean rooms, friendly staff and free breakfast bar. We took so many pics and will share some here. Ask for any rooms facing away from the front of the building (got very lucky to be on the 3rd floor mid-block & we didn't even ask for it). We got to drive around to the end of the island, such a serene place. We had a wonderful time & will be back!

Serene natural setting with a view of the Chesapeake Bay. The sunset and sunrise are magical experiences.

The walls are hollow, so one can easily hear others conversations. There is a sitting room with two sofas, and a television. The bedroom has two sofas, and a television. There is a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, microwave, and cabinet space. The balcony has two chairs, and a table. If you want to view the sunrise/sunset, ask for a room facing the facade of the hotel. Look left from the balcony to view the sunrise, and straight along the Bay to view the sunset.

Nice size rooms. We stayed on the bay side. Relaxing hearing the waves lap up on shore. Sunrise was beautiful!

Pregnant check-in desk lady is super cool, rooms are huge, great price for the value, every room is either “sunrise” or “sunset” view. With the Ruddy Duck and a pier next door and a fire pit out back this place is pretty sweet.

Perfect place for family's with children. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. So quiet, safe and peaceful. Attendants are very kind and always ready to help. House cleaning keeps everything so tidy and fresh. My husband, baby, and I, had a wonderful time. We will return soon. 😊

Second time staying, still wonderful. Excellent and helpfull staff. Rooms was very clean especially the bathroom. Amazing view. Very peaceful. Right Next to excellent sea food restaurant.

Our visit to Island Inn and Suites was very relaxing. There's not much action there, but if you like sitting near water while reading or fishing off the pier, this is a nice spot. BTW, the room was very nice, clean and with a great view!

I booked this Inn for our 6th anniversary. The inn is really really nice. Beautiful water view, the rooms are totally clean and in new condition! Flat screen T.V.s!! Everyone is really friendly here and the restaurant next door is amazing!! I highly recommend it.

They also let their guest use the hotel's bikes and kayaks!! So much fun!

We have fallen for this place, And so will you!
