Grinder's Seafood

My ladies' group visited on a Sunday afternoon. Way down 210 in Indian Head. So be ready for a drive and watch out for several speed traps along the way. Geat idea to use lighted warmers to keep the butter hot. The crabs were cooked to perfection and meaty. We ordered the All You Can Eat crabs, which came with fries and hush puppies. This is a family owned business, and everyone was super friendly. The wait staff were young ladies who were very attentive and kept the crabs coming. I can not speak on other items, but they do more than just crabs. One of my friends ordered the crab cakes, and she said they were good.

This is great local crab house. Local owned and operated. You can get food to go or sit and eat. They have a large back room for big family meetings. The food is cooked to order. The prices are good. The food is always cooked perfectly. I have have tried everything on the menu and was never disappointed. 10 out of 10 for food and service.

What a gem of a find. They are friendly and family run. I got 2 dozen males, and 2 lbs. of shrimp. You can eat in or take out. I'll definitely be back.

I have never been to Grinder's Seafood and decided to give them a try. Let me tell you, given I am a crab connoisseur, I was very pleased with their AYCE crabs. My cousin and I will drive to the moon for crabs. They were a nice size, meaty, sweet and their price point is awesome! If you haven't been already, you should give them a try and trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I love this place. I went one time and I have been hooked. During their off season I have tried other places, but this place is King! I love Grinders. They know how to make crabs perfectly. They aren’t overcooked or dried out from sitting.

I love Grinder’s. I am so looking forward to the seasonal opening. Please hurry up and open. I miss y’all 😢

This was a pleasant surprise from the service to the food and atmosphere. The price was extremely reasonable, and the crabs were extremely large and tasty. The servers were excellent all night I think I have found a new seafood spot

It’s the crabs for me! That’s all I ever order and they’re always tender juicy and meaty. Prices are competitive. The staff are professional and friendly. The restaurant is always clean. I highly recommend!

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, being this was my first time trying Grinder's, but I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the fried shrimp dinner, which comes with 8 jumbo shrimp, two sides and a King's Hawaiian roll. At first glance, I wasn't sure if the shrimp were big enough! But let me tell you, they were firm, plump, fresh and DELICIOUS. I was sad to finish the last one lol the potato salad was excellent and the green beans were very fresh. No butter or seasoning, but everywhere makes theirs different! And it was a nice contrast to the potato salad 😊 My meal, after tax, came out to about $18. More than I was expecting to spend on lunch for myself lol, but WORTH IT!!! You really are paying for quality, here. Will most definitely be coming back!!! Next time to actually sit down with my meal because the atmosphere is super cozy and quaint! Can't wait to try more dishes at Grinder's. Thanks for a great first experience! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Stopped by here for lunch based on reviews and wanting to eat some seafood. Did not disappoint! Shrimp basket was yummy and cheeseburger was juicy! Great service, & friendly, attentive servers!

Great service, and we had some delicious fried rockfish, crab balls, corn fritters, and clam strips here. Good for family dining. We were passing through, so we didn't try a crab dinner, but the meal was delicious.

The seafood here is always good. They aren't open all year round so make sure to come by and check them out Spring through Fall. I'm especially fond of their crab balls and fried shrimp, but everything is good. Their steamed crabs are seasoned well.

Arguably the best crab spot in Southern MD. You will not be disappointed with the quality of crabs you receive here. Not one is mushy. They have great prices for to go crab orders, but they have a better deal that is all you can eat crabs for 50 bucks. I really regret telling you all about this place because I fear the price will rise and my every Sunday feast of crabs will be no more 😂 However, a good gem is hard to keep secret. The staff are very friendly, you feel like you're in MS lol. The owner catches his own crabs on Monday thru Wednesday (closed) so you know it's a great spot. Trust my word and give them a visit.

When I say, THE BEST HIDDEN SECRET right under my nose. I've been driving to Pasadena, MD to get my reasonably priced amazing tasting AUCE crabs 🦀, but for all of the doubters, DOUBT NO MORE‼ First time in, our server was Bree & the other ladies were just as attentive, prompt & customer service friendly. I now have another #1 spot & already planning 2 go back next weekend [well, unless I'm traveling for my business.. I typically eat crabs just about every weekend, so I may be a little different 😅] But look no further, talking about Home-Sweet-Home. Thx Grinder & Staff .. as you see I'll drive 4 my crabs, so PLEASE DON'T CHANGE A THING w/Prices, Quality & Customer Friendly Staff & Atmosphere.

I finally got to try this place out in Indian Head Maryland today. I read the reviews and my wife told me pull over so I did. I ordered chicken tenders with French fries and cold slaw and my wife got the steak and cheese sub with fries and a iced tea. All I have to say is, all the food was cooked to perfection in my book. I really want to try the clam strips next or the Whiting next. I will be back very soon. Loved my experience here and will let people know about this hidden gem.
