It was great weather for me. 79! I feel like summer is here today. The park has many places for fishing. Trail for hiking. Camping sites are closed. But I think will be lovely to camp out for a weekend. RV campsite has showers.

Beautiful! Highly recommend visiting off-season. The lighthouse wasn't open but the park was also very sparsely populated and the views were stunning. I went end of November on a Sunday. I saw a handful.of people there to fish but otherwise had the entire park to myself. Maryland residents pay $3 per car, I think non-residents might be $5? Not sure. But the grounds are beautiful and the roads well kept so it's a worthwhile investment.

My Cousin Laura B. used to live in the lighthouse back in the 80's . The lighthouse is haunted. Our family would visit frequently and we have videos, photos and recordings of the phenomena. I miss the times we spent at the house as it was a very beautiful place also. I had an amazing opportunity few people in life get. My only hope is that the lighthouse will be preserved for future generations to enjoy and that no further development happens to the property.

Did not enter the lighthouse as we were there after hours to see the sunset. There is only one informational plaque outside so if you are interested in learning about the light it would be best to go when it's open. Beautiful setting, a small area of beach otherwise it is all very rocky along the point. Because we are out of state residents it was $7 each to get into the park.

The park is open but the lighthouse was closed due to construction. I came here on a cloudy day.
Entrance is $3 per car for local and $5 per car for out-of-state (price may change).
Overall, this is a historic park with a deep history to it. I personally love it, beautiful beach site and the views are nice.

Really nice state park, great place to spead an afternoon and evening Sunset. They have multiple riverstone covered beaches and plenty of places to explore on walking trails. Take some water and a good camera definitely worth the drive to the southern most point of Maryland.

The lighthouse building is closed ( don’t know the reason for) however all history lovers are peeping through the windows. There are few other open buildings around to say lots of history. A amazing view of Potomac and Chesapeake.

Great place to take a day trip! Not a lot of walking trails but we enjoyed walking on the thin beaches and exploring the lighthouse and old fort history.

For the moment, no entry to the lighthouse, as they are preparing exhibits.
The lighthouse is not your typical east coast cylindrical bldg. This is a large 3-story, square bldg with the light at top corner, which means lots of room for exhibits.

Though it was closed to public. The family and I peeked in the windows. We enjoyed our walk around the area of the lighthouse as well.

Beautiful beach and lighthouse. I had a nice walk around. Didn't see much area to play with children.

Had no idea the historic nature of the park. I made the mistake of going on a holiday so the museum was closed. The picnic area and beach were very nice. Liked the little store. Very nice fishing pier and place to crab. It's great to have public access to the water.

A bit cold and cloudy, but this place is pretty awesome. Quiet and easy to navigate, plus it has a ton of trails and pathways.

Very beautiful lighthouse. Is a unique lighthouse in the sense that it is not a tower style lighthouse but placed on top of a three-story house / building. Unfortunately the day that I visited the park the lighthouse was closed for renovations. As far as I know it is free to explore the lighthouse but it does cost $5 per person out of state to get in the park and I believe $4 in state to get in the park.

Was under renovation and most things were closed but still spent over an hour just wondering around. Will definitely go back to watch the sunset.
