Cute pair of stores. One side is alcohol and one for eclectic mix of gifts etc. the alcohol side had an interesting selection of wines. Most I had never heard of.
But the buyer must be a real gin lover. He had well over a dozen different types of gin - most pretty obscure. But with good reviews. Did you know there is a Missouri gin?

Grace was awesome! I needed a simple, clear vase for some flowers, and Grace offered to not only fine the perfect vase but also cut and arrange the flowers (bought elsewhere). This is above and beyond! The store is such a gem in Webster, with a great alcohol selection as well. I can’t wait to be back. Thank you, Grace!

The vibe of both stores is really nice. The service was excellent at the alcohol/drinks side of the store. I went there and asked for advice about making drinks for a Halloween party I was throwing, and the sales lady was really helpful and supportive. The store brand gin there (in the pink and blue bottles) is insanely good. They give samples and I was instantly sold on the pink one. I took a lukewarm half shot at 4 in the afternoon with no chaser and I didn’t even wince. It went down really smooth, and I knew then it’d be delightful in mixed drinks. I’ve used it at a few parties and it’s been a big hit. I get non gin drinkers to at least admit it’s better than other gins and doesn’t smell/taste like rubbing alcohol haha. They both smell good. I’ll keep buying gin from there whenever I run out. It’s definitely not your cheap liquor, but it’s also not insanely expensive. I think it’s a good price considering how much better it is than cheaper/more standard gin or vodka brands. The clothing/lifestyle/floral boutique is really cute and I like the atmosphere, but I personally think it’s overpriced. I like to just look and browse in that side of the store as I slowly head to the drinks side of the store. They were really nice though and gave me a sample of a deodorant I was looking at because the scent was one of my favorites.

Amazing store. Incredible selection of unique and hard to find liquor and quality bar materials to serve it in. That's to say nothing if the clothes store. Definitely a particular style and pricey, but you're getting unique, bespoke, and boutique gifts not found elsewhere. Excellent selection of excellent things (and there is a wide variety of things to capture you interest!). Also good sampling of books from beekeeping, to floral care/arrangements, and cocktails.

Absolute five-star service. From out of state, I was able to call the store to select and arrange a gift and flowers to be delivered to a family member in Webster Groves. Civil Alchemy was willing to make a lovely floral arrangement, wrapped the gift with a notecard, and made the delivery flawlessly. I highly recommend this shop for their personalized service, merchandise selection (viewable on their website with pricing), and for going above and beyond to please a new customer. I will definitely shop here again! A+++++

I love to support local businesses, especially ones that are so beautiful! It is so well curated, and I hope there are a lot of people who shop there. For me, I really go there only to window shop, as the price point is medium to high, and it's not really my style. Still love looking around though...it's almost like a museum.

So excited about Civil Alchemy! Relatively new to St. Louis, so I was so excited when I ran across this place! I’ve been to Intoxicology, which does have more of everything in-house, but Civil Alchemy has more great things, including accessories, cocktail books, etc. If I had to make a choice, I would go to Civil Alchemy!

One of my absolute favorite places to visit while i’m in town. Always a beautiful selection of thoughtfully curated items at a reasonable boutique price point. Looking forward to my next visit!

Love this store - things are usually a bit on the pricey side, but it's full of high quality or locally produced items. I usually do quite a bit of gift shopping here as I love their curations.

Pretty fantastic selection of dings and dangs. Large selection of craft/artisan spirits with an interesting partner in crime which would be the boutique directly next to the drink selection.
