Very cute zero waste refill shop. By shopping here you’re making a sustainable swap & helping the environment! Some of my favorite items are their refillable multi surface cleaner (smells so good), refillable dish washer pods, and their shampoo and conditioner bars.

Additionally, they have a large selection of sustainably made makeup items, kitchen items, bathroom items, and compost starters. They’ve even partnered with a few vintage stores and have vintage clothes & household trinkets, so there’s something for everyone!

Lovely place. Purchased a beautiful vintage chair along with some reusable unpaper towels, organic cotton facial rounds, and brushes. Great selection of eco goods. Will be back for the bamboo toilet paper.

For sure one of my top five sustainable small businesses. The staff are so kind and helpful and give the best recommendations. If you’re looking for anything from reusable food storage bags to shampoo bars, they have it! Definitely stop by to find affordable eco-friendly alternatives and support a local small business!

I LOVE this shop. I lived in St. Louis for almost three years and Dharma is part of why I was so sad to move away. I got heavily invested in sustainable kitchen and cleaning swaps and the staff are so helpful and nice. I shopped here at least twice a month and never had a bad experience. The vintage decor they sell and the clothes from May’s Place only make it better.

Love this local shop as they offer refills on everyday products from shampoo to hand soap! I love their non toxic dry shampoo and I come to get refills when I’m out. The employees are always so helpful and friendly too.

Dharma + Dwell is an incredible store! I was thrilled when I saw it was opening because I had been longing for a low waste/refill shop to be closer to my home. I now get my dish soap and hand soap refilled here and I absolutely love it every time I go in. How satisfying it is to go in and out of a store without exchanging any waste! I also love the stain stick I picked up that works better than any conventional stain remover I've used. To top it all off, the aesthetic is beautiful and inviting, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about this store!!

AMAZING. I love it here! It smells great, it’s very organized, I got one of my favorite books from there (a book on house plants), and it’s so nice to have a sustainable shop in my area! Thank you for doing what you do.

Dharma & Dwell is an excellent, locally-owned business in the heart of Old Webster, Saint Louis. It thrives in selling ecologically-sustainable household goods, cleaning and hygiene products. Particular attention is paid to the environmentally friendly and safe alternatives to everyday, plastic and otherwise single-use, unsustainable products. The staff is kind and extremely helpful. Great energy, products, and business model. Will come again. Bravo!

I cannot fully express how pleased I was to learn that a sustainably minded store was coming to St. Louis around the same time we were moving back home from a few years in Texas. So many consumers (myself included) are looking for ways to “vote with our dollars” and buy sustainable items that are not designed to fill landfills. The fact that this CAN be easily found here locally AND support a small business owner just takes the cake for me.

In our home we love the refillable options for conditioner, hand-soap and shampoo as well as really well made kitchen scrub brushes that go a long way. I also LOVE that they stock vintage items from another local business right in their storefront.

Truly, a must stop if you live in STL!

Dharma and Dwell has anything and everything you could want to obtain the best, sustainable lifestyle. You could spend hours in there smelling and deciding on things you want. Love their sustainable dish brush that has a brush feature that allows you to remove and add a new one of it gets too old. Their farmers market bags are also the perfect size!

I’ve been a fan of Dharma + Dwell since their beginnings as a pop-up store and this shop is a beautiful expression of Jordan’s passion for raising awareness and empowering change one conversation, and conscious purchasing choice at a time. I have learned so much from Jordan, who’s always happy to answer questions and recommend products that allow me to make more eco-friendly choices. This shop offers a wide and thoughtful array of top quality home and personal care products for anyone who is working to live more sustainably and leave a minimal carbon footprint. This store is incredible! Zero waste products for every aspect of life, everything is beautifully designed and the highest level of intentionality in how products are made and ingredients used is very clear. Absolutely worth the investment to shop here for more sustainable products and then refills are cheaper moving forward!

Love the ocean sage body soap!! Definitely one of my favorite products. I get complimented on my scent and then I awkwardly tell them how it’s my body soap they’re smelling.
