Sam's Town Hotel & Casino, Shreveport

I love it there for a quick get away to gamble and have fun with family and friends and they have great food there 😋 😊 😀

We visited Smoky Joe’s in Samstown last night, and had the most wonderful dinner! Steaks were cooked to perfection. Our server, Passionate (yes her name was Passionate) was super sweet, very attentive, and did a bang up job. Afterwards we decided to amaze & amuse ourselves by playing 🎰penny slots, especially the one with the big wheel! I became hoarse from laughing, screaming and cheering! 📣We were having so much fun! Actually had very engaging folks and everybody was out to do the same thing and that was to have a good time! Can’t wait to return for now hopefully our new date night now with Smokey Joe and slots!🍀 #riverboatvibes

Had the opportunity to stay here for one night while traveling for work. The terminals at check-in we’re having issues and I had spent a good hour trying to check in. The lady at the desk (Aeren) was very helpful, very patient and eventually she was able to get the situation under control. No fault to her, just technical issues. Great customer service, and this hotel went above and beyond for my customer satisfaction. Would highly recommend while you are in town.

Mrs. Debra at the hotel check in desk was very sweet! She has a great customer service personality and was very nice! Our 1st time there and i must say, the roons were spacious and quiet! Clean with refrigerator!! Bed was comfy with white towels that were clean! I definitely want to stay there again! So easy to park and walk across the Skywalker and then also to the casino!! Great stay, thanks for the comp nights Sams Town! 🤑💯👍

I enjoyed my stay at the Sam's Town Hotel and Casino. The hotel reservation employees and bellhops were very professional and kind. I loved my room and wish that I booked the hotel for my entire time in Shreveport. The room was large and very clean and the hotel smelled clean! I will definitely visit in the future, if ever in Shreveport. I don't gamble, but I enjoyed my stay.

Stayed here for a week visiting family over Christmas. My son-in-law's father works here and helped with the reservation. We had stayed here a couple of times several years ago and it is about the same. Looking a little worn, but very clean and comfortable. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. A little disappointed that the TV is not a smart TV, so we couldn't cast to it to watch Thursday night football on Prime, but we made do with the laptop. Wish they still had valet parking - the hike to the parking deck across the street was a lot. Also, they don't have smoking rooms anymore. But the casino has smoking floors. City ordinances. Apparently, the casinos across the river have different rules. Overall, a nice stay.

Check in went smoothly. Due to some unavoidable delays on the way, I didn't check in until after 1am. The young woman who checked me in, was very friendly and gave me a late checkout without my having to ask. The room was clean and comfortable, as usual. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. I did not go to the casino until the next day. There were very few people gambling, but I am sure that was because I was there on a Tuesday afternoon. There was work going on, on the 3rd floor of the casino, so about half of the machines were not accessible there. The Gift shop, buffet and Smoky Joe's restaurant were all closed. I did stop at the deli, as I had earned a meal credit. The "authentic Texas chili" was great. Also grabbed a chicken salad sandwich to throw in cooler and have later while on the road. Both were very good. All of the employees were very friendly and attentive.

Luxury king room was very nice and the price was very reasonable. The hot tub was amazing. Pool is also heated and was very clean. The whole hotel was very clean. We will be staying here again.

Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms with a spacious, well designed bathroom. Definitely would stay here again. Passes black light test. Friendly helpful stall.
Casino is small but has 3 levels. Only negative comment is that only one floor is nonsmoking.

Always a great time when I go here! Very friendly and fast-acting staff, the atmosphere is always Lively and I don't feel pressured. The rooms and the views are excellent as well in the bathtub! I could live in the bathtub LOL! And it is kid friendly as far as the rooms and accommodations go so that's a plus. And they also offered free valet parking which was very convenient as one of my children wasn't feeling well. Overall I'd go back again and will soon!

Staff was very nice, friendly, and polite. The hotel itself is in a safe area with plenty of lit parking. The rooms are big and spacious as well as the bathroom. Everything was very clean and nice. The food was good as well as the Casino environment. Check in/out was a breeze. Just an all around great atmosphere and experience. Everything was just nice including all hotel guests. We will definitely stay here again and refer others!!

A very elegant place for a casino. All you can eat buffet. Hotel rooms available. Bathrooms are outstanding. Attendants, dealers & waitress were great. Slots were hot!!

We had the best time and the dealers were so nice and helpful on games we were new to. We will definitely be back. The room was impeccable.

It is very clean and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy the fact that they have three restaurants & the food was delicious. They also have a live band during certain hours. I had a wonderful visit. I will recommend this place to family and friends

Room was larger than expected with a nice view of the Red River. The room was also very clean with a large bathroom. The casino was great with plenty of security. We felt very safe during our stay. Parking garage had a walk way to the hotel.

Very nice room. The beds were very comfortable. We had an amazing view of the water and margarittaville behind us😊The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Went there to meet with the team to host an event. They were super friendly, very knowledgeable and very professional. Looking forward to a great evening.

I love this casino, I'm not sure if it's bc I won 10,000$ on free play but it always seems to let me win and play Than the other casinos plus they have cool promotions!!
