Movietown RV Park and Mini Storage

Been staying here for a few months while I'm working. Very clean park with LOTS of spots. Super friendly workers and they have a beautiful dog named Pearl. Prices are competitive. I will stay here always if I'm in the area.

Movietown RV Park is one of the best values ever for full hookups and pull-throughs we have seen. Plenty of room between sites and lots of places to walk your pets. Management is great to work with. It's located close to Jackson and the Natchez Trace Parkway. Canton is the city It's located in and called the movie capital of Mississippi. A large New Nissan plant is about two miles away. Cabins are also available here.

I stayed for an extended period of time and had a wonderful experience. The managers are incredibly generous, the facilities are well kept, and the lots are huge! I had an amazing time staying here, and if I'm ever in a position to do so, I would happily stay here again.

I came down to Southeast GA for work and was fortunate enough to get a spot here. It is quiet, beautiful and easy access to numerous towns. The slot i just the right size, the lake and scenery are on point. The couple who own the park are a joy as well.

Ideal spot! Very up to date shower and restrooms spotless!! Laundry facilities amazing! Very nice people. Quiet all the time. Friendly fellow rvers, theres longterm camping short time, a playground, nice landscape well cared for, I backed my 30 ft pull behind into 143, had my own front yard and a dirt road to walk down and it was nice to open my front door and sit looking out. (Weve been in the city the past 18 mths) level spots no tables, electric water sewer hook ups, we couldnt get the offered wifi but with a antenna we picked up 26 channels that had clear pictures! Lots of great things about here, we have a Verizon cell phone and it doesnt have good cell reception. Wife has a straight talk with a tennesse number and hers is good all the time.about 2 miles from walmart. Gas and take out places. ,

Nicest park in the central MS area. Folks are nice; staff is amazing. Mostly, we aren’t stacked on top of each other like I see at many others in the area.

It's a very nice and quiet place to stay. The bath house and the laundry room have a key pad entrance. Women's bath house was very clean. The showers have a dressing area with a curtain so you can undress and dress in private. There's a playground for kids. There was no swimming pool. It would have been nice to have one with as hot and humid it was. Everyone was nice and polite.

We always stop here when we are in the area! Great for overnight spot. We stayed in the first pull-through spot this time. Seemed to be level. Sites are long enough, so you don't have to unhook if towing. Have a 40ft class A.

For our first time in an rv park this place was GREAT!! We stayed for about 5 months, this place has a laundromat and extra showers and bathrooms that are cleaned all the time. Was always able to walk my dog, all dogs are on leash except for one that would run up to us other than that it was fine. We stayed in the back where mostly workers park. Was empty when we arrived and full when we left. Owners are great people. Quiet and friendly place, a really great place to stay and affordable!

Because Management does live on the grounds. Katrina ( on site manager) is one of the nicest, professional property managers I’ve met! I pulled into site late and she was there to assist with directions.
Sites were level and clean with easy hookups. The common grounds were land scape and lawns well kept up!
Areas is quiet and peaceful!

I have nothing bad to say about this Campground. We stayed 1 night. And would definitely return. Very nice clean park, good water pressure, nice soft water. Shower bathroom house good condition and clean (would maybe recommend rubber mats in front of shower). Overall a beautiful park with very friendly staff. Thank you for a good peaceful night stay. Should we ever be back in area, we will stay again.

Wonderful campground we stay one night on are way back and forth from Illinois to Mississippi. Good water pressure clean restrooms and Laundry Room the only downside is the traffic in the park cars and trucks in and out all time day and night and they drive really fast in the park.

I found the manager to be very friendly and welcoming. The park, cabin, laundry and shower area were very clean. The grounds were kept nice looking and it was a quite and restful place. If you are looking a place to park in the area I definitely recommend this one.

Movietown mini storage and the Movietown RV Park are both located at 109 Movietown Dr Canton, MS 39046. The storage buildings are separate and located on the left side of the office. On the right of the office, (attached to the same building) there is a laundry room for guest use. Also on the same side, are restroom/shower rooms) one for males one for females). Both have multiple stalls for restroom and also, multiple shower stalls. Outside to the right of there, Is a grassy area with play ground equipment for kids to enjoy. Past there is the entrance to the Cabin and RV area.
The manager team keeps it well maintained. They are friendly and professional. They enforce quite time and speed limit rules to ensure everyone is able to enjoy a safe, peaceful stay. I love staying here. So grateful I found them in the summer of 2019. Still love it here!!!

We stayed in a pullthough site. Long enough for our 42 foot motorhome and tow car. Sites were level. Park was clean. Bathroom and shower in good condition. Park personally we friendly and accommodating. Would stay again.

I enjoyed my short stay here.. everyone was friendly.. it did have mini storage, but thete was not a lot of traffic and the area was off to one side and clean. they were some full timers but their areas were gery neat. would definitely come back.

We stayed at Movietown for a month. Relatively quite. When we first arrived probably 60-65% full after 4 weeks still in 70-80% full. Just a few SBS & golf carts. Handful of long term, those with pets walked on leash. Mostly small dogs. Management answered all questions and we had no surprises.

Great overnight stop. Large, level spots. The hook ups are toward the back, but we didn't have to unhook our small car (our RV is 43 feet long). Very nice lady when we called and checked in. $27 with our good sams discount. It was well worth it for us.

Had problems with our RV on the trip home from Missouri and needed a place to stop and rest. Called late afternoon for a site, and was gladly accommodated. Though we had to detour due to bridge work near the entrance, directions were clear and precise. Upon arrival, we were given our choice of several sites, and chose one with a little shade. Though amenities were few, the site was level, with a very large grass area (for an rv park) between sites . Hookups were well placed and easy to get to. Great place for a stopover, but would enjoy the peace and quiet for several days to explore local sites. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others. Owner has spent a fortune on limestone for the roads and sites, instead of gravel. Shows willingness to be the best.
