Congdon Paul J DDS

Paul Congdon has been my dentist since 2007... In the beginning, I had Forward Health, which is a state-assisted dental program and doesn't cover much. Dr. Congdon is the only dentist in Hudson that accepts Forward Health/Badger Care. Paul always helped me make good decisions with the coverage I had! My family and I still continue to go to Dr. Congdon's office even after we got standard dental coverage. He's a great guy and dentist! The staff has always been friendly and welcoming!

I can not believe how amazing this Dr is! Absolutely the BEST experience I have ever had at a dentist! Went in with some soreness with my upper wisdom teeth, thinking I would have to reschedule for taking them out, NOPE! I was in, x-rayed and teeth pulled within an hour! Really gentle hand when it came to the numbing and quick to extract!

I had been experiencing EXCRUCIATING pain since New Year's Eve from an exposed nerve in a top molar. I had been to the ER 4 times in 3 days to just numb the pain away. It was that bad. I called Dr. Congdon's office late Tuesday afternoon after the New Year's holiday. Paul got me in the next day for an emergency visit. I was so pleased, yet terrified, ever since going through my wisdom teeth extractions several years ago from an Oral Surgeon made me feel extreme anxiety and uneasy about even seeing a dentist for a routine exam since.
I walked in to Mr. Congdon's office in tears from pain still shooting through my tooth. I was tense, very uneasy, as well as worried I would be told I would need to see an oral surgeon for this evil molar I let get the best of me.
I was so pleased to hear that he would remove it for me right then. Despite my growing anxiety for what was to come. I must say, the way Dr. Congdon addressed my urgent need to remove this tooth at once and then was able to make all the anxiety and tenseness disappear BEFORE the real fun part of the actual extraction began was not something I thought would be possible. I was amazed at first I didn't even feel any poke from the novocaine. even once! He was so courteous to my feelings of anxiety and talked me into relaxation and trusting in him completely. He did such an amazing job and I really felt valued and cared for by him and his assistant who was also so very sweet and ensured I was comfortable through the fight with that molar.
I can say Dr. Paul Congdon is truly a great dentist and does above and beyond for his patients. I am so truly grateful for his kindness, hard and very skilled, along with his unique technique of approach to task at hand. He puts your comfort first and ensures your at your highest level relaxing at all times. Thank you so much Paul for all your help and time in taking care of the that evil molar of mine! You have no idea how truly thankful I am and amazed how at ease I became while extracting the tooth! I didn't think that could have been possible but you and your assistant did it! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Paul Congdon has been my dentist since 2011 and I did see him and his staff on a regular basis until my period of ignorance and letting another person's work procrastinate/stop me from coming in routinely for a period of time, regretfully, but I had always been greeted by such friendly staff and the hygienists were all friendly and genuinely happy people who were gentle and efficient.

Thank you for reminding me there isn't anything to fear when I have found such a great dentist like Paul and the amazing staff he has working alongside him. I would and will be referring Paul Congdon's Dentistry to family and friends!

Dr. Congdon said that I needed 3 crowns! 3 crowns!! And he said that I needed them right away because in 6 months or less, I would be in a lot of pain. Well, I just went to another dentist in town with a bigger name and they said that I am in no need of any crowns!! Dr. Congdon was going top charge me roughly 1500 per crown!! Thanks Doc!! You know I am a single parent with kids!! ((The reason why the 5 stars are on here is because I attempted to write a review a few months ago before I realized he was trying to take thousands of dollars of food off my kids' table!!)

Who likes a dentist? Well, I can now say that I do! Dr. Congdon is friendly, gentle and thorough. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks for taking care of my teeth Dr. C!

I am grateful that I found a dentist who accepts my insurance and is accepting new patients as well. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. My children and I are lucky to find a great dentist!

Great local dentist! Hygenist Kristin was very thorough - my teeth have never felt this clean! I would recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Congdon and his staff are very professional and cordial. The office was easy to get to and facilities are very nice. I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of care or level of service and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I haven't been in to see Paul because I'm a really neglectful person. But when I do go it's always fine. Everyone is nice.

Granted I havent seen a dentist in awhile. I visited this dentist today for a cleaning. I told the hygienist that my teeth are sensitive to heat and cold and air being blown on them. She was kind and asked me if I wanted to be numbed up I said yes or we will never get through this procedure. Dr. Congdon came in and examined my mouth and said there is nothing we can do for you you need more help that we can offer. I have never encountered a dentist saying that to me. But I was told he wasn't a very good dentist but I needed to try it out for myself. Well I did and this dude needs a better chair manner. He is just in need of retraining on how to treat patients. Everyones experince is different maybe yours will be better than mine.I dont care for him.

Rude hygienist. Drinks the kool aid that the dentist serves.
They love you if you have good insurance. They treat you like trailer trash if you don't.
I don't deserve this. Never had a problem with any other dental service in my 52 years.
If you didn't want my business, you should have said so before the very first visit.

Years ago I came here for a checkup- possible braces, and had to get 6 to 8 teeth filled, to have him drill too deep on one of them exposing my nerve in my molar, he had apologized but was very rude about my complaint of it hurting a lot. Told me that it shouldn't hurt and i asked for more lidocaine shots and guess what! I didn't get them. Told me to come back in for a root canal on the tooth HE accidentally drilled too far into a few weeks later. Got multiple calls about it. Family was considering a lawsuit years ago as I was under 18 at the time, but we didn't. I wouldn't wish anybody to go through that semi-barbaric bs! Have not went back since, and now my molar HE ruined is in pain, nerve is reexposed, and I will be going to a compassionate dentist that doesn't mind the type of insurance you have. Humans are humans man! Have a heart!

Horrible experience. First time I went I had to get a tooth fixed. Waited a while finally the Dentist came in checked my tooth and walked out of the room. Did not tell me anything. Finally 20 minutes later the assistant walked in and told me he would have to work on it another day. They made that appointment for me! Today I came in for 3 fillings. I walked in found out the appointment they made for me a week ago they never put in the computer. It was on my file but not in the computer. Which is fine I waited a 1/2 hour not big deal. Went back waited another 1/2 until the Dentist came in. He gave me nova cane and left. I waited an hour and no one came to see me. People walked back and forth and no one talked to me. I finally went to the front and told them I was late to pick up my son, and that is when they apologized for everything that had happened. I understand have one bad experience with this Dentist but 3 times he has done this. Horrible place. I'm going somewhere else.

I will never go back here again. I came in a while ago for a cleaning and a couple fillings. Dr. Congdon was so rude. I was having a really bad reaction to the novacaine (panic attack, which is apparently a known side effect) and said i just can't sit through both fillings and I'll have to come back for the other one. He said "No, your insurance doesn't pay me enough to have to see you twice". I still insisted that i would need to come back for that other filling. He was a jerk the whole rest of the appointment. I will not be going back. I'm finding another dentist.
