Ample parking, including handicapped parking, with easy access to picnic shelter, restrooms, volleyball court, horseshoes and cornhole, and playground. Good signage for ballfield, disc golf course, hiking trails, etc. Dog park right across the street with additional parking area and access to mountain bike trail.

What a beautiful park! Two hiking loops, I did A which was moderate and around a mile. There is also B which is strenuous and over a mile. This park also has a large disc golf course, a sand volleyball court, picnic shelters with grills, restrooms and an off leash dog park across the street. Really pretty barn here too. There is also a baseball field here. Very peaceful area to spend time in nature.

Great, well-maintained park with an excellent shelter I've used many times with friends! The grounds are always clean and the baseball field is nice too. The best part is definitely the disc golf course, though, which is excellently kept, just the right amount of challenging for most players, and a ton of fun!!

Gorgeous Park with tons to offer. Off Leash Dog Park, Disc Golf, Challenging Hiking Trails, Playground, Clean Restrooms, Tons of Picnic Tables and Benches, Mountain Bike Trails, and more...
I actually spent 2 days at this park recently and Did all the Hiking Trails and Fields. A Loop and Reverse B Loop, Finished by the Nature Trail.
A Loop is Moderate and secluded, but deeper you will find the Strenuous and challenging Loop B. You can easily hike 3 to 4 miles and be secluded from the world.
I spent my time filming for my YouTube Channel "The Trail and Hike Channel" and it got pretty crazy. Alot went wrong, mistakes were made, and I paid the price. Check out the channel and Subscribe to find other hidden treasures and join my journeys to a healthier life both Physically and Mentally. (The Video from this adventure will be out August 12th, 2022)
Highly recommend this park for anyone. If you like trail walking, A Loop. If you like Hiking and a challenge, B Loop in Reverse. Plenty of friendly critters and sights to behold.

I love this trail. It doesn't have the tree trail markings but it does have the posts showing where you are.The trail is easy to follow. Loop B has hills, steps, and bridges. It's not a difficult trail for someone that hikes a lot. There are no benches on the trails. There are restrooms at the beginning of the trail.

I love this park ! I like the fact that the park doesn't have wood chips.mulch ?? You have a lil areaa to eat by the park and a huge area for a family get together like we had earlier this month for my brother. Plenty of room for the whole family and friends. I was amazed at how clean the bathrooms were !!!! They even smelled good !

Would like to start off by saying if you are looking for a nice secluded shaded park/nature trail/dog park/Frisbee golf/ect then this is a great stop you should add. I was even able to get a nice shot of a old-school Volvo in the parking lot. Great trails, and nice playground equipment. Clean and plenty of fresh air for those looking to get some peace from that so called virus going around. Would recommend removing those masks so you can stop killing yourself 👍 here is a great safe place for you to do so ad to start helping you figure that out. 5 stars easy. Only suggestion is to extend the playground a bit. Then it would be the place to go everytime. 👍👍👍💪💪💪👌👌👌

This is the place to be if you have a terrier or a very high energy large dog!! Their dog park is by far the cleanest and largest spacious dog park I have been to!! They have plenty of benches to sit at (both in sun and shade, depending on the time of the year). There are cleaning stations with provided doggie bags and functioning water fountains for both owners and dogs. Dogs can run freely and have plenty of space surrounding them.

Fantastic little park! The disc golf course was easy, definitely not the longest or most wooded course by any means, which is not a bad thing. The view at sunset was simply gorgeous

Came to Horizons Park for a round of disc golf, and it was pretty good! The course is easy, but relaxing. The three bonus holes provide an extra challenge, too.

The course itself is mostly flat, with some moderate hills. No water hazards and the trees are trimmed relatively high. Only confusing part can be that the holes are very close together, but you just throw to the hole with the red number facing you.

My kids loved it when they were younger, but the play structure has had a huge makeover! It's so unique to play on, and awesome for the young ones that love climbing!

Beautiful set of trails close to the city yet allow that feeling of escape and oneness with nature. The hiking trails are a good length- not too long and not too short. Be careful if you go in the fall or after a rain. The leaves cover tree roots and you can easily trip if not watching closely. The trail also gets rather muddy, but you can easily walk around the mud. Several trees have fallen into the trail, but I personally think it adds a sense of adventure.

Good times. I was the first person to put my GF and my name on the tree. We did it in 1994. 💜

A nice local park with hiking trails, a large dog park divided into large and small dog sections. Disk golf, picnic shelters and tables available. Also a playground with nice restrooms in the main area of the park. Also what looks like a baseball field. Lots of open spaces to walk and enjoy the area.

I really enjoyed the Disk Golf Course. It was well laid out and fairly open, so I didn't lose any disks I was playing with. They also had 'extra' holes that were a bit more challenging. Also Horizon's Path is very dog friendly.

I've been going to this park for 26 years, and its still obe of the most beautiful, peaceful parks I have ever been to. I went hiking with my fiance there a few days ago, and we encountered this friendly Black Rat Snake along the way! Hope to return soon for some more wonderful nature hikes!
