Staff was friendly & efficient. Office is not that busy this time of year so I was able to get an appointment within 2 days of calling the appt line. You MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.
If you have not been here before, it is very difficult to find. It is in the Westbrook Corporate Center building, however it has an outside entrance only. The tax office is not listed on the sign at the road, but the address of 1677 is. When you enter the parking lot, you need to go to the right. This will curve around to the left where the office is the very last door on the left. When you enter, you will be met by a nice officer who will scan you with a metal detector & check inside any bags you may have. You also need to have a picture ID. It is a good idea to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

All questions were answered by a very nice lady. I had to wait a while for my appointment but I took all of the information requested and the appointment only took about fifteen minutes.

I think these overcomplicate salada system, you have to book a lot in advance and it's just so bored bureaucratic and so complex that is hard to get a straight answer for anyting and the thing is that you need to pull yourself and take your own time and get out of work to try to figure it out what you have to do if you need something to understand it's too complicated

There were three employees working at the time, two in the office and one as a security. The person was doingf good at first, she told me to go seat and wait, I do not like that her and the other assistant were talking at least 20mns about their personal lives, laughing while we were waiting. The security was on the phone outside of the waiting room. If this was the case, who was helping us?? Then the ladies were done talking, and that's when she called me back to her desk. That's not cool. She did a good job on customer service. But making us wait was not professional.

Most useless information possible. No options to talk to a real person, this phone number does the same thing as the one to contact local office. Round and round on recordings.

No reason to have an office if you go for a question they just make fun of you no help at all to top if off the person says no appointments till September then tells you go on line to get what you need its so stupid like if im begging them to pay your taxes insane extremely rude lady and went ahead and said " we don't have bilingual people here to help spanish people " DO BETTER ...

I received a letter from the IRS saying that we had a refund that had not been cashed; we needed to CALL the IRS to have a check sent for the refund. I called the number on the letter and was hung up on every time I called because of the "high volume of calls; please call back on the next business day" even though it was 8:30 am! Once I did manage to get in line for a representative (with a warning that the wait was 60 minutes) I sat on line for one hour and 15 minutes before I finally hung up. Could not call our local office so now I have to get in my car and go to the office. No IRS services available. Disrespectful of citizens. Glad I have a car to get over to the office!

Most worthless people ever work here. Waited on the phone to speak to someone for over an hour. Finally spoke to someone then put on hold again. Waited for 30 minutes and was hung up on. Worthless.

I paid the amount the lady said when I called the first time. Then I get a letter for failure to pay the next month. Talked to the rude lady and she said it was the interest. Asked to speak to a supervisor and she said nobody could change the amount. I just stopped trying. Terrible!

I was unable to walk in without an appt & make a tax payment. There was one woman waiting at 11.40AM. The gent at the front desk with side arms asked a rep to "help a taxpayer who wants to make a payment." I hear from the office: "Cashier's check or personal check?" I respond, to someone I can't see, "Part on a cashier's check, part a business account check." No response. The guard closes the office door, walks back to his desk. Me: "Yes or no?" Guard: "They're juggling between them whose going to take lunch & who's going to see you." I sit there, silence from behind the door. After more than five minutes, I left without having made a payment. The service downtown was so much better. Parking suckered but service was much better.

I have been trying to get in touch with this office for about a year and have been unsuccessful to get any response. A recording is all I have got instructing me to call back another day..... This is unacceptable and totally unprofessional.

Still haven’t received my tax refunds from 2019. Tried calling multiple offices but all give me the same response. They don’t care about you but only taking your money as always. I also still haven’t received either one of my stimulus checks.

Unable to contact anyone at the irs number provided in my notice. I go to make an appointment to this local office and it’s the same no one is available to take my call it has been like this over a month. What are we supposed to do?

The office has been closed the entire covid pandemic. How are we supposed to get Assistance Because IRS.gov is not helping? If I can give this less than 0 stars I would. There's no other option or office to contact except for the federal office and they're not available.

Made an appointment via phone, went to the location at the correct time and they are closed! Neighbor at the office said they have been closed through the whole pandemic!!!
