Mountain Range

This place has reasonable prices and the range lanes are great. Their hours aren’t the most accessible but Tuesday night works for me. The lanes are nice, always clean. They have a large selection of guns to rent and a decent shop. Not to mention it’s the only place within an hour of me where I can shoot my rifles before deer season. Check em out!

Fantastic range. Mike was super helpful about showing my wife the best guns for her needs, and stopped by to check on her and offer some tips while shooting. He made her feel very comfortable and didn't talk down to her. Tuesday is ladies day, so we're coming back then too!

Great place to rent and try out a lot of guns. If you like a gun that you rented you can purchase it, gave me a great deal on a Canik. Will definitely be back.

Have not used the range yet but we will soon stoped by to get our grandson a birthday gift.the guys that run the place were great knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly.

I travel all over the United States training Law Enforcement, school security, church security teams and public. This facility has to be ranked in the "Top five of the best indoor ranges" with fantastic atmosphere, great equipment, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Waynesville residence are very fortunate to have this range in their area. I plan on frequenting this range when visiting from Atlanta.

First time visiting this range today and I had a BLAST! The staff is knowledgeable and helpful with explaining the different types of firearms and training classes offered and will answer any questions you may have. Inside the indoor range itself it was very nice and clean, you get your own lane and if you run out of ammo you can buy more up front. Well worth the $20 entry fee. Will continue practicing here.

My entire family has taken the concealed carry permit class here at Mountain Range and we all agree that the instruction was excellent! My son and I took the class last Saturday and my wife had taken her class with her sister several months ago. The owner, Julius, and Craig, instructor extraordinaire, both taught the class and they made that 8 hour class fly by. It was actually as informative as it was entertaining.

With regards to the gun range, it's well worth the drive from 45 minutes away for us. I know they have a policy regarding no outside targets, but at $1.00 a pop, it's really not a big deal at all. I have found their prices on targets and ammo to be right in line with other ranges that are far less nice. With regards to their ventilation, i was impressed with the system they have. While I don't know much about the operation of the system, I know I've never seen one like it in any other range.

With regards to the staff, I haven't found better, friendlier, more professional staff. They are all knowledgeable and willing to help and offer advice. They are always checking on safety of all the shooters on the lanes. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Owner and staff is really helpful and knowledgeable about all equipment. Gave myself and partner a good lesson as it was our first time shooting. Owner was really kind and have a good sense of energy and sense of humor to me as well.

My wife and my first visit and we were very impressed. We had fun and learned a lot from the Range Boss!! So funny but extremely knowledgeable! He helped us both so much and I hope he's there when we go back!

Found the place when searching gun ranges, had went to Ashville before knowing of this range. Great experience. The owner was very professional. Felt very safe. He offered tips and advice. Had a great time, he even helped adjust my new red dot sight. Will visit often.

Had a great time , took my wife to shoot for the first time and was very impressed with the training and safety that was given , we are in town on vacation for 7 more days and the wife has already made plans to return and shoot 2 more times before we head back home. The owner was excellent!!!

I spent over $800 here today. The owner was awesome. He's a cool vet, had some awesome stories. Very patient with my kids. I had to bring both of them in. one has ADHD. There were two guys working. They were very patient with my kids. Gave me good info on the selection of guns they had, and helped my wife steer toward a pistol that was to her Comfort level. All around great guys. No problems whatsoever here. I'll be coming back to take their concealed carry classes soon. Super cool guys. Great selection. An easy, clean, comfortable place to buy a firearm. I'll be back for more guns and accessories.

Great place to shoot. The owner was happy to help bore sight my AR 15 and did not charge for his assistance. They have gun rest to help in the sight in process at no charge. Prices on guns and ammo are reasonable. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable on the products they sale. Over all great experience.

We went to shoot some guns whilst on holiday, and the gents in the range were really accommodating and really helpful. They showed us the ropes and made us feel very welcome.
We would thoroughly recommend the Mountain Range.

Can’t say enough about our overwhelmingly positive experience. 4 out of 5 in our group had never shot a gun before. Two dedicated experts/employees stayed with our group the entire time, showing us the basics and helping us load guns, etc. highly recommend this place.
