TA Travel Center

My family of 3 stopped and had lunch at the restaurant in the Candler T& A Travel Center, and we all enjoyed our meals (a cheeseburger, a fish n chips, a club sandwich) very much! Food was yummy and well prepared, the place was super clean and the staff was friendly. It was a lovely meal, we just wanted to let y'all know how much we appreciated everyone involved. :-)

The food is really good here! The salad bar is fresh, the grilled whitefish dinner is delicious! Katy the server is sweet n polite and attentive. She's an asset to the dining business. The parking is a lot of reserved but free spots too. So the earlied you get here the better as usual.

Would like to Thank Steve from tire shop! I stop for steer tires change. It was no line so they took me right away at 9pm and I was out few min after 10pm. Fantastic service. Keep doing what you’re doing!

I enjoy this little truck stop. I absolutely love parking to where I can stare at the mountain with the lush green trees.
The restrooms are always clean, there is a mechanic shop if you need something fixed on your rig.
The employees are SUPER COOL and nice and they will let you drop your trailer for an hour or 2 if you sign in the book in case you have to pick up a prescription or run to the bank.
I come here quite often and I spend alot of money here from food to tires and truck parts.
Its cozy and just what I would expect from southern hospitality 😊

Great service in the restaurant, salad bar was perfect. The shower was super clean and no wait. Seems like the parking lot is mostly pay-to-park spaces here. Everyone was nice here and I got to watch Superbowl while having dinner.

The TA was as you would expect across the country. Large well lit safe. When we went, they were fully staffed and well stocked and the bathrooms were clean. We had no issues whatsoever at this location. Obviously due to the transient nature of their clientele, they have a wide variety of products for sale, most of which you don’t need. I personally prefer this, then to see bare shelves when there is something that I am looking for. Certainly a good place to stop as you pass through the area.

As a small business owner I appreciate the guys in the shop going out of their way to find me a small used bolt to get me back out on the road.

Clean and old school. Country Pride is one of the best. Parking can be kind of difficult if you don't know how it is set up before you go in.

One of the best TAs in the country. The shop personnel are fantastic they worked to get me out in a timely manner when I had a wheel seel go out. And the restaurant is also great just had the porkchop dinner they were nice and tender and juicy. The waitresses are nice and polite and just fantastic.

Nice little gas station at the base of these hills. Very pretty.

Clean facility, great shower pressure and hot water. The Iron Skillet was actually open for breakfast and served some great food. Very friendly staff. If you have a pet with you this is not a very pet friendly facility as there is little to no green grass areas to walk them, but that’s not their job to provide, after all they are a truck stop not a dog park so I can’t ding them for that. Great experience here. Good job TA.

Great steak ! friendly people , clean store and showers. Plenty of water pressure over all just a great stop.

I was a little intimidated due to the fact that some of the more recent reviews are not so great but I was very pleasantly surprised! I spoke to two employees and both of them were very helpful and kind. I needed to be pointed towards the showers AND didn't notice the screen telling me which # shower to go into, I didn't even have to say anything or walk back to the register. An employee checked for me and told me which one. 10/10 customer service.

I've never been to a truck stop at all before but my plumbing is being worked on and I needed a shower. They were very clean, the water pressure was great, and they provide little bar soaps and towels! The shower costs 14$ as of Sept 22 21.

Power went out due to storm. The bobcat driver was awesome! Cleared the lot with just a small bobcat!

Got a to go order from Country Pride restaurant. Waitress was quick, clean and very friendly. The cook got my order correct and in a timely manner. Hard for truck drivers to get a decent meal on the road these days but I'll definitely be coming back to eat here.

I've always liked TA truck Stops. I especially like Popeyes and alot of the TA's have Popeyes or Pizza Hut and even Taco Bell which nice instead like alot of other truck stops that only have Subway. I do like Subway it's nice to stop at one place though and have a variety of things to eat to choose from. It's also nice that most of them have the Country Pride restaurant if you want to sit and eat. They have a good menu.

U know if all TA restaurants was like this place in the mornings. Man oh man what a big improvement in the bottom line they would see. Absolutely the best service for breakfast u could ever ask for. Take notice TA pay attention.
