Chris is such a nice guy and this shop is so charming and local. I mean, check out that wood fired stove heating the place and making such a warm and welcome smell before you even get inside.

We’ve gotten dried beans and pickled okra and fresh bread from Sisu bakery, apple butter and jalapeño raspberry jam.

The owner passes by where I work in hartford, tn on his way to puck up beef and sausage and has offered to deliver whatever I want! How's that for customer service...outstanding!! Oh, yeh, great produce and great selection, farm eggs, etc, etc

Otw back from the mountains glad the GPS took us this way the pink pineapple is what drew us in! The company mascot (the lil doggy) will greet you & even shop with you. They have all kinds of unique finds such as cheese & Sausages & pickled things. The pink pineapple is definitely worth me driving 2.5 hrs to come here! Please visit if you in the area they will not disappoint.

Good selection of local and southeast regional produce. Great prices on local farm fresh eggs. Owner Chris is very amiable.

Favorite place to buy meats, veggies, fruits, cheeses and fun canned/pickled goods. The prices are honestly better than big grocers in the area. Happy to shop and support local.

You can't beat dropping in at Owl's. Anything and everything that you would want or need plus lots more. The freshest of many veggies, eggs, milk, meats. Ya just gotta drop by and experience having a one stop shop that you not only get everything quality but the owners Chris and Wanda are awesome people and so friendly. You can even get the best fruits that are in season like their watermelons, cantaloupes and lots of other goodies.

Great little produce shop. Glad Chris is back after nearly losing his building in the 2021 floods (& he had zero help from govt, who couldn't care less about the little guys). We make a point to stop there every chance we have - and usually go home with more than we intended! 😁 In addition to in-season veggies, he has wide selection of jams/jellies/molasses & LOCAL honey. Plus, he has local meats & sausage. The real deal. Thanks for your dedication & hard work Chris!

They always have something you need and want. I suggest the SISU bread. Damn shame the dairy closed. I miss the chocolate milk

Lovely market selling a variety of local NC products. The proprietor is incredibly knowledgeable about his products as the store has been in his family for about 80 years. He is very hospitable. Great eggs, bacon, beans, vegetables, jams, pickles and more.

This is one of the friendliest places to shop. He has great fruits and vegetables also jellies, jams and candies. This the only place I go to buy a watermelon.

Great place to buy produce and local milk and other products. Go by and give them a chanch. Open year round.

Market is now open after the 2021 flood. Been waiting for them to come back and glad to see them open. I got Ramps that were very fresh. Will be back.
