Jack the Dipper Ice Cream

Post lunch ice cream...what a treat. Lots of good flavors to choose from...chocolate, vanilla and all the other good ones. Wife and child had the waffle cone. Fresh made right in front of you. Was still hot when they got it in their hand! The kid size was pleanty...unless you are sharing. Great service and easy in and out. I would say the parking lot is a bit small if it was busy.

I came here for a fundraiser with my boyfriend, and really enjoyed it. They have a lot of different flavors from Hershey’s ice cream, as well as a dairy-free option. They make the waffle cones fresh and they are so good! They are nice and warm, and they have three different flavors for the waffle cones. We got a chocolate one, but we want to try the cinnamon one soon. We also got a milkshake, which was very rich. All in all, we enjoyed the experience very much!

Freshly made waffles cones make the place smell awesome 😋 the ice cream is delicious lots of choices of flavors 🍨 and they'll let you try anything you want to. The service is very sweet. Would absolutely recommend! 😁

Ice cream is always a great experience! The freshly baked waffle cones made it extraordinary! Yes, more please... but their serving sizes don't leave room for more... so will just have to go back!

Great food, quaint place, awesome! Loved the Mexican corn scallops and spectacular Brussel sprouts... yummo!

GO HERE! If you are anywhere close to this place you absolutely must go. I eat ice cream pretty much every day of the year but this is probably one of the greatest Icecream places that I've ever been to. Get.a.waffle.bowl. oh my gosh it was still warm when I got it. They are hand made batter freshly poured and there are THREE different kinds of flavors that you can choose (regular, cinnamon, chocolate.) Seriously just go, people from around the world come to Sylva, NC just to go here. If I'm anywhere near here I'm going to go and probably order like 5 waffle bowls. Amazing stuff and the owner is so sweet and great, the staff is awesome.

Best waffle cone I have ever had. The cones are made to order and delicious. The service was great and they were very patient while the kids decided what they wanted. Can’t wait until we can go back.

This place is absolutely fantastic! They have so many different flavors to choose from. And on top of that and they make their waffle cones to order. My favorite is the cinnamon waffle cone! They also have a rewards card. So every so many times you visit the establishment you rack up points to get a free treat! The place is a lot of fun and comfortable to bring friends and family to hang out!

This Place is Great! So many flavors to choose from! Great quantity on the sizes. I bought 1 pint of the Lil' Blue Panda ice cream. And had to get a brownie batter shake to try! Being first time visitor in the area and at Jack the Dipper couldn't just leave with one flavor! Both worth the buy! Customer Service was also friendly and excellent! Definitely be back when in the area again!

I’ve never had an ice cream place to 1) give me a choice of chocolate, vanilla or cinnamon waffle cone. 2) make the waffle cone right in front of me, or 3) hand it to me warm! Amazing!!! 10 stars for this place!

The best ice cream EVER! Many Hershey’s flavors to choose from. Waffle cones (vanilla or cinnamon/sugar) made right when you order, so they’re warm. The banana pudding ice cream in a vanilla waffle cone was amazing. Strawberry cheesecake and chocolate brownie were also soooo good. Lots of kids when we were there, and they took over all of the outside seating. Very tight seating inside. Staff was very friendly. Portions are oversized (yay!), and very affordable. :)

Favorite ice cream spot for over 10 years. The made to order waffle cones are the best and they have plenty of ice cream flavors. Portions are generous and the staff is always friendly. Special shout-out to the young ladies working the evening of 7/7. They dealt with some entitled individuals, in particular an older man who raised his voice at one of the girls and talked to her like a dog because he was confused about the cones (even though there was a sign about the cone sizes in front of him). She was polite and handled the situation very well, despite his foolery and failure to apologize. My cone was perfect!

The whole place smelled amazing from the moment you walked in. The vanilla waffle bowl was fantastic and my ice cream tasted amazing.

I got a scoop of caramel cookie cheesecake and it was some of the best ice cream and waffle cone I have ever had - the banana pudding ice cream was great too.

The place is delicious and have a very wide collection of flavors it looks amazing in the inside too!!

Tried the strawberry cheesecake flavor the other day. The kids cup is plenty for me and their variety of flavors never disappoint. Such a fun place to enjoy a treat with the family

Best ice cream I've had in a long time. The fresh waffle cones are definitely worth the wait and a try. Sometimes there can be quite the line but it is worth coming here for ice cream.

Walking in to the smell of fresh waffle cones is worth the trip, every time 😍 They are not gluten free, however, all the GF flavors are labeled clearly. Ask for a clean scoop 😊

Fresh hard icecream. Fresh fruit on thebanana split and a great, thick chocolate shake. Worth the cost now and then.
