Loved taking the kids on the trails that connect to Andulusian Dr and go into the bike/walking trails. The kids had a great time hunting for rocks even though many are covered by leaves right now due to the season.

We had thought we would make it to the park but short legs get tired quickly. I attempted to take a stroller on the trail 🤪 but there are too many roots to make that a good idea. We turned around before we got close to the actual park which disappointed the kids.

However, they had a wonderful time exploring, being in nature and finding rocks. We went on a Saturday and spent about 1.5 hours and saw about 6 bikers and 4 other walkers. When we left we walked down Andulusian Drive at Percheron Court to visit the horses. Lovely Outing with Littles!

This park has adorable trails filled with cute painted rocks, decoration, and thoughtful touches. We did the main loop with the enchanted trail loop and it was an easy walk through oak and pine forests. It’s not suitable for strollers as it’s open forest with roots and small steep inclines/declines. Also, there are a few small spots where the biking and walking trails are together so I would only bring dogs that will sit still while bikes come past since the trail is skinny.

Such a nice hike. Kid friendly👌 Great markers! Our kids loved all the painted rocks. We did the main loop and the enchanted forest.

Great quiet and peaceful place to visit. Love walking my dogs here. I enjoyed the dog parks that are completely fenced in one for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs compliments this place perfectly. Also great. There is water and dishes to use in case you forgot to bring some. Can't wait to come back.

I've always seen the garden from the road but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine such a forest beyond it. You literally lose yourself and forget where you are back there! The paths are nicely identified so you can't get lost, clean and clear, and pleasantly challenging to walk (and we took the advance). Didn't do the enchanted forest but will next time!

Such an amazing place! We truly enjoyed the walk today. It wasn’t crowded at all, but I’m sure when the weather is nice there will be a lot of bikers.

We loveeeeee the trails, especially the enchanted forest with all of the painted rocks. No bathrooms though!

Super fun trail for walkers and bikers. The walkers trail is narrow, windy and has some fun dips & hilly terrain. There's painted rocks throughout the trail that you can pick up and place somewhere else along the path. Cool way to keep younger kids engaged during the walk. The trail is very clean!

Very wooded trails that are clear enough for easy walking or biking. The decorated stones are a unique feature that makes the forest more vibrant.

The woods are lovely dark and deep.
We offered the use of solar streetlights for the entrance as a test...
Alas, shallow, short sighted thinking of minor Gov. Officials squashed that deal.
P.S.
The solar flood lights at the entrance monument have not worked in 3 years.

❤❤❤ to the families and the community that made the enchanted forest trail. Every kid should have this type of quiet escape in their lives to play and to dream.

My boys loved it...challenging and fun...they rode multiple times and seemed to enjoy each pass through. The park was busy but not crowded. Most people were in and out...This park is also good for walkers.

Really great park for biking activities! Recommended for all levels and ages, definitely one of the most fun trails around Charlotte. Definitely not a long trail which it's ok. The new jump area is really fun and unique in the CLT area which is being developed along with other plans. I hope they develop the park quickly to direct pedestrian towards "areas more walking friendly" as it tends to get really busy and sometimes a bit dangerous when riding a blind turn a bit too fast.

What a beautiful place for a walk! The loop trail was great and the Enchanted Forest is just that- enchanting. I'm not sure I've ever seen so many pines alone in one place with clear ground beneath them. It was like walking in another world. We'll definitely be back to do the back loop.

Great set of trails for walking. You do have to be careful in tight spots where a biker might show up too quickly to react. Very good place for kids too. Trails really aren't very secluded which is a downside for hikers.

Great trail for simple walks or for a mountain biking workout. Trails are beautiful with mature hardwoods and creeks running through recreation area.

This trail is a little short but it’s still one of my favorites. 1. it’s about 5-10 minutes away from me. 2. It’s got a little bit of everything: starts with flow, moves on to a very tight section (my favorite), then more traditional single track, finishing with some climbing. And in the middle of all that is a jump park with several different lines from easy to advanced. So not a lot of mileage but I just ride it twice and hit the jump lines on the second time around.
