Goose Creek Airport, 28A

I took my first lesson at Goose when I was 15 years old. I am 38 now and have spent a good amount of time at multiple airports and I can honestly say that Goose is the exception. At most other airports there is a lack of community and friendship. Sometimes it feels like a competition with only the "cool kids" getting to be in the "club", BUT not true at Goose. I have always felt like I could talk to, learn from, and hangout with everyone. The ownership has always been helpful and went above and beyond. It really is a club atmosphere and community.
If you are interested in aviation or are pursuing your Certificate, I can't recommend Goose enough.

Goose Creek Airport is very different from all the other flight schools in the area. Although it is a business, it has the feeling of a club where you are a part of the community and not just a paying customer. You get to know the people, make friends, learn about aviation, and learn to fly.
I did my private pilot training here and still continue to rent planes here when I want to take family or friends out for a sightseeing trip. There's been days I stopped in just to hang out and chat with other pilots, instructors or students. It's a very welcoming environment.

I've been hangared here for 2-years and I teach in the flying club J-3. This is probably the best grassroots GA airport in the entire CLT area. New pilot lounge, restrooms, maintenance on the field, and a very active local flying community. Its great!

Very picturesque airport. I take pictures here during sunrise at times. It is beautiful. I do not fly but just love the small country feel of the landscape. If I was a pilot I imagine I would like it as well.

I have been flying over 25 years and have seen many flight schools. I just love the spirit of Pressley Aviation Flight School. Leighton Pressley loves his job and promotes safety in a fun, relaxed environment. I have watched Leighton teach, and he is patienly thorough. The flight school building is a first class facility for getting the flight education you need to fly with confidence. The flight instructors are enthusiastic and professional.
