John Sevier Park

Really nice, new park. Handicap accessible. The kids had a great time here. Would be nice if there were a water fountain and more trash cans, but overall really can’t complain.

Very nice park for kids. My 2, 6, 9, and 12-year-olds had fun. Very clean and well-maintained. Plenty to do for the kids.

Just a beautiful short drive down Sevierville Road. Enjoy well maintained, fenced in six pickleball courts. This well lit court keeps the lights on until 10pm. There is also tennis and basketball.

Loved this sensory friendly open layout playground! Two different areas based on age but my 2 yr old and 4yr old niece had a blast on both!

Since the new playground has been built, we’ve come here once a week! It’s one of the best playgrounds on this side of Maryville. The kids love it and we’re so glad we live so close. Highly recommend taking your family here!!

The new kids play area is awesome. Very fun. The instruments and puzzles are pretty neat.

Beautiful park... Shady areas around the playground to sit and picnic. The playground has some shade as well with canvas covers. Maryville parks and rec did a wonderful job on this place! It's all inclusive so anyone can enjoy it which is nice.
Age recommendation is 5-12 but there are smaller swings and the playground is perfect for younger kiddos too

John Sevier park is a great location. My boys love going to the blue playground. This is also located next to the public pool. Kids can spend a day playing on this playground and pool.

Only downside is the location of the park is near a road and parking lot. The road isn't busy and the parking lot is never completely full.

Absolutely beautiful Park with a pool that has two slides and two diving boards. Ample picnic area. You can bring your own food and beverages just no glass bottles. There is also tennis courts basketball court Pavilions am BBQ stations. It is a great way to have a family day and you can go swimming and cool yourself off on those hot days.

Very nice pool and park. Clean! And, not overly crowded. The pool has been fixed up very nicely, and my grand daughter really enjoyed herself there. I liked being there for the peaceful swimming and nice staff. I highly recommend it; but, I hope not too many people show up at once. 😉

We had an awesome picnic here, then ended the trip with a jaunt in the playground. Great time!

Took a field trip there from prospect elementary. New upgraded play area. Beautiful little park next to the public pool.

Very nice Pavillion and new playground equipment. There is a section for younger children and a separate section for older children.

Hadn't been here in a while, awesome make-over!! Super love the musical stuff that's been added..and the representing of dif languages and braille and sign language all are really cool to encounter at a park😊

Great park, lots of different areas on the playground to play with. Great parking and easy location.

Nice little playground, usually not busy. Love the upgrade they did here. It's so much fun and it seems safer for little kids.

Huge park adjacent to John Sevier school. Brand new tennis and pickleball courts which are nice. Basketball court, pool. Don't recall a playground. Drive through a neighborhood to get to the park. Not seen from the main highway (Sevierville Rd).

Nice neighborhood pool 2 diving boards and 2 slide baby pool and concession stand. Coolers are allowed and sun shades welcome. Only USCG approved flotation devices allowed.

Great pool, staff is alway alert. Very clean!
