Food Lion

My new favorite grocery store. Bigger than you think with wide varieties of most items. Produce was especially nice. I've worked in grocery and this store was super clean and fully stocked. Bakery/Deli is nice too.

I do most of my grocery shopping at Food Lion. This is an awesome grocery store. It's laid out well, very clean and well lit. The selection is very good. They have excellent produce with a large selection. The meat is very good here as well. Never got a bad steak and the ground beef is top notch. They have an excellent deli and bakery inside. Love the blueberry turnovers. When I shop and dont feel like cooking the hot bar and fried chicken are very good. I eat it a lot in the heat of summer. Lastly the cashier's are quick and very friendly. My last stop is at the Tennessee lottery vending machine for a few scratch offs. If you live in Townsend this is your best bet to save money. I love and recommend Food Lion.

Great customer service and good product selection based on the smaller footprint of the store. Prices are a little high versus discount stores like Walmart, but to be expected from a full service grocery store. I was there in the afternoon and there were three checkout associates eating by their registers waiting attentively to check any customers out immediately. Find THAT at your local Walmart. LOL

Foodlion has some of the most courteous people working in this store. Always attentive if you need anything, prices are good ! The manager literally ask me if he can help me with anything everytime I go in there. Awesome shopping experience ! You feel welcome.

Nice ,plus they had everything we were looking for & everyone was nice.

The store was extremely busy as most folks couldn't get out of their home for several days because it was so cold with snow and ice on the roads
The store was well stocked except for bread.

Smaller grocery with a great selection.
I like this store because I can get in and out pretty quickly with what I need.
Great deli and meat/ fish is good.
Always has Milos tea and lemonade on hand👍

Staff is wonderful.

Polite and friendly employees always able to fulfill all my grocery needs and even when I need help finding something all the people stalking will always stop to help and find what I need. The store is always clean and well stocked. Food Lion Works close with Second Harvest and Rio Revolution and our goal is to not have anyone go hungry. Lots of resources available ask anytime.

Love it! Sales were outstanding! I spent $78 plus tax and saved $48.71. Produce was extremely fresh and well priced. Store had more than enough cashiers. Experience was excellent. Highly rated.

Everything I came for was in stock. Very clean store and fresh produce.

Great grocery with the vast majority of what we buy regularly. They dont fill up the isles with other diaplays so you can walk straight down the isles. Good quality produce and good selection of goods. One of the only groceries that caries 1/2 gallon of half and half.

I used to hate coming here because it was so outdated with a terrible selection but the remodel has improved it tremendously!! I'll definitely be shopping here more often now!

Refreshingly the best customer service in a long time. Ads are easily accessible. Friendly help always available. Other retailers could take a lesson.

I go to this grocery store for my 6 pack of Sprites. For the last 3 weeks, they have been 4 for 11.00. Which is an excellent deal. The employees are very friendly and courtesy. I love the prices of my Minute Made juices

Easy to find what I'm looking for and a decent selection. Always a good selection of ripe avocados. Employees have always been helpful and nice. Walk in fridge for produce is nice.

Love my Browns Creek afoot Lion. On and out quickly. No wait in line. Good quality meat. So convenient. Love the staff.

Convenient store -- the renovated layout makes it so easy to find what I need. The staff is always very helpful. Last visit my cashier was Mariah, and she was so nice. It's great to leave my errands with not only the groceries I need but also with a smile on my face.
