Overlook Park

One of the best places to fish at lake Somerville, it has the best marina on lake with nicest and friendliest staff(Larry and his wife). For *$5 you can fish all day and all night😜me and my girl Shanda. We love taking the kids here

I love the Somerville Marina area. You can rent canoes for $15 a hour and they have a variety of items in the store. The staff is always wonderful and seem to remember me now!

Always a blast! And even better if No Clue Cookers is out with brisket Mac and cheese!

Lovely place, nice and helpful people in the store. Also, the people on the camp grounds were nice which made fishing there worth it. The best part was they have these amazing light up bobby floater things (not sure of the name) which made it easier. Expected to be there maybe an hour and it turned into 5 just from enjoying ourselves. Definitely going again more prepared. Only thing is it's pitch black at night time so probably have a lantern nearby. A snake came up on us from the water which we quickly turned it around. Night time pic is how easy it was to see my light up Bobby on the water.

This place is awesome! There's a spot for everyone whether you have an RV and expensive toys, if you wanna camp with electricity and water or just come out for the day and fish and swim, they have a designated spot for ya... And the family that works at the marina are so amazing...I really felt like family when I visit. Also they made sure that we had everything we needed not because they wanted to sell us stuff but because they genuinely care! When I wanna go swimming or fishing I'm only coming here!!!

Great place to look over the lake and also the spillway.
It's quiet and no one bothers you if you wanna read or listen to the sound the world makes.

My sister and I took my 10 yo grandson fishing at the marina. The people were very friendly, prices reasonable, and plenty of room to fish. We had fun!

This is a nice campground right on the lake. They have nice bathrooms and a playground for the kids. There is a marina where you can get your basic camping gear and lots of fishing gear.
They have some nice cabins for rent if tents are not your thing and you do not have a camper.
The hill down to the marina is steep. Just a warning. But the folks down there are very nice and helpful.

Staff at the marina were very patient and helpful. We are new to fishing but our kids wanted to try and the marina staff helped with everything. We caught 6 or 7 fish (all to be released) in about 2 hours late morning.

Had an awesome time this father's day weekend ! Camping ,lots of swimming , and some good ole stories ...will definitely be coming back ..staff at marina were amazing as well .. couldn't ask for a better weekend..thanks again
