El Taco H

Food was delivered and arrived warm to our home. Tacos had alot of flavor and the guacamole was delicious we will definitely be visiting the location in the near future. I highly recommend based on our experience.

I just ate in a Mexico City restaurant but in TX ! More specifically the great city of Denton, seriously I was in shock when I got the first bite of my chilaquiles oh yeah, not your typical Tex-Mex breakfast plate (of course not) the taste of the food is just amazing! Believe me I’m Mexican I know about this food, the flavors and aromas of the dish just perfect also they have great aguas frescas, this is not a Tex-Mex restaurant (thankful for that) great tacos of course and the salsa bar great looking set up. Been there a couple of times and great brunch selection I had the huevos rancheros oh my goodness just perfect! By the way I’m from Houston I wish we had one here !

Great taco spot in Denton. Lots of tasty taco options and cold beer. Prices are also good. They have a nice big patio in back with the bar that offers shaded area and full sun options.

I have never had a restaurant deliver my food to me soo fast! How do they do it?
We ordered at the front, & when we reached our table, the food arrived as we were sitting down! Such tasty tacos, stuffed with fresh ingredients! Fun place! Horchata rocks!

What an erray of flavors!! I love it here and the atmospherewas great! I had the berria de romen and my husband had the carne asada grande burrito let me tell you, IT WAS THE BEST!

The tres leches cake served here is to die for! I recommend the carne asada tacos and quesadilla with pepino y limón agua fresca. Outdoor seating is in the back.

Delicious as usual!

Ate at the restaurant before the Luchador match they were hosting. Got Al Pastor, Barbacoa, and Carnitas. All delicious. The barbacoa was less greasy this time. Rice and beans are the absolute best I've ever had. Margaritas were perfect.

Service was also fast as usual. The bartenders were great; we came back over for a drink after the match and my friend requested a creative drink inspired by the luchador mask he bought at the match. It was yummy! They were all super nice.

Always a great vibe here. Love the brick walls and decor. The music is always fantastic. Feels like I'm back in Mexico!

Another place I frequent. This most recent visit wasn't as satisfying as normal, but I'll still return!

The decor is fantastic; I love the distressed brick walls and the luchador masks hanging behind the back bar. The main space is very open and the back patio has plenty of seating. There's also corn hole out there if that's your thing!

The drinks and food are yummy and the service is always quick. Their dog friendly, which is always a plus for me. I always get a frozen margarita that isn't too sweet or tart with just the right amount of tequila.

I typically get the taco plate and always forget which ones I choose. This time I got one sudadero and two barbacoa. I wasn't a fan of the sudadero; the meat was dry and had no flavor. The barbacoa had great flavor, but they were very greasy. The elote cup is a favorite of mine; make sure you mix it all before trying for maximum taste efficiency! El Taco H definitely has the Best rice and beans I've ever had, probably because it's not JUST beans (also ham or bacon in there).

Best tacos and margs in Denton! I had an El Tlacuache with mezcal and family had El Diablo margaritas. Service from Kaelib was awesome. Thank you!!

The birra cheesy tacos were very good, especially when dipped in the consome. The well seasoned side of beans also were very good. It had lots of meat pieces and bacon. Multiple choices of fresh condiments very provided. There is a full bar if you have a taste for an alcoholic beverage. A cold Corona Xtra from tap sealed the meal for me. Check this place out. It's in a little downtown spot with other nearby eateries.

5/2023- The warm salsa is also really good. Different from other places. Enjoyed the ceviche; great sauce with it. The chicken tostada is one of my new favorites! The barbacoa is good but Smokey.

Update (1/14/23) I was really impressed with the food when they opened but it’s gotten even better now that they’ve been open a couple months. Really dialed things in. Love the consommé, excellent quesabirria, Al pastor and la gringa.

Oct 2022: Got to check them out during their soft opening and was super impressed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The space was great! Amazing patio! Fun bar in the back as well as a really great salsa bar (lots of really fantastic homemade salsas). The agua frescas were good too-tried the jamaica and the pepino y limon. Really enjoyed the tacos! They have a great vegetarian option-not just an after thought, it was flavorful and delicious! Tried a little bit of everything and enjoyed them all-esp the Al pastor but can’t go wrong with any. Charro beans were well done too! Def will be back often! They’ve got some great plans I’m the works, can’t wait to see how it evolves

The atmosphere is amazing. The food was incredible. My drink was delicious too! And Nick brought us a taco he is looking to add to the menu- the smoked barbacoa! It was so good! We can’t wait to keep coming back!

This place was great and well priced! The tacos were delicious, but the birrias are the real stars. I would just go for the plate with 3 of those on it. The ambiance was great, outdoor seating was clean, and the salsa bar had delicious options. The drinks were tasty and fresh, and everything was served quickly. I will definitely be back again.

Update: This is still amazing! I took a friend and he absolutely loved it. I'm hispanic, and this place makes me proud! It's authentic AND trendy. I love it so much. It's hard to find this balance.

This place was fun to witness and experience. Luchador masks and lotería cards on the walls, the indoor and outdoor merging, and great food with a station for salsas cilantro and lime really made me nostalgic for my dear "México Lindo y querido". I almost take half a star for the bathrooms. The lock to close the bathroom stall was broken, and they didn't fit the decore. However, they were clean. So, no stars taken.

Cool little spot in Denton with amazing food and cocktails! The salsa bar has something for everyone, from mild to melt your face off heat! Birria tacos are so tasty and delicious. The cilantro lime rice is seasoned to perfection. The crane asada tacos are a must try!

Amazing! Drinks and food were crazy awesome. I would definitely recommend this eatery.

One of the best taco spots in Denton. They've got spacious seating for larger groups and smaller parties, a bar, expansive outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and fun decor.

The tacos we've tried have all been very tasty and good for the price. We never leave feeling like we haven't gotten enough! Plus, their horchata is excellent.

I visited El Taco H a few weeks ago and was very impressed in every aspect from dining experience to the food of this new restaurant. I don’t remember what was in this location before, but wow this place looked so cool and has one of the nicest patios in Denton. Which isn’t that hard, in my opinion, because there are very few patios in Denton anyway (correct me if I’m wrong). They also have a salsa bar and an incredible happy hour too! The food was very delicious and I was so happy to see a nopales taco on the menu. I will definitely be coming back here.

The bartenders were wonderful. The ladies who took 10 hrs and 6 hrs to braid their own hair... and the white girl with the purple hair... these ladies are the best. I was there for March Madness. This excellent trio made my day!!

The tacos were good in flavor & had a nice proportion of meat on them! The salsas were flavorful & spicy! The drinks were amazing! El Diablo & the Topshelf were my favorite.

Idk where to begin! We were first told about this place by a friend and decided to come by for dinner! We have been here a few times now and we're never disappointed! Their food is so delicious and the whole atmosphere is amazing! Can't wait to bring family and friends with us one day!
