Panini Bakery & Cakes

We chose to go with Panini for our wedding cake after having it at another wedding. We are SO glad we did. We called and got a tasting box from them and then decided to book. I will say that things run a little more old school (not a bad thing but just something to be aware of) in that you take money by in person (check or cash) and you do the consultation over the phone when you're discussing your vision for the cake. We emailed over some designs that we liked and that was that! Our planner handled vendor communication in the month leading up to the wedding but the cake came out beautifully - exactly what we asked for. We opted to do a faux cake (with a real piece for the ceremonial cake cutting photos) and then sheet cakes in the back. We chose to do three flavors (they were all that good that we couldn't decide). We did the strawberry butter cream, white chocolate mousse with raspberry and the cappuccino mousse to pair with the espresso martinis we were having through the venue. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received on the cakes. SO MANY people have asked me where we got them and raved about them during and after the wedding. Panini officially has a customer for life in me and my husband. I'm in the process of ordering a birthday cake from them now :).

I worked with Sydney at Panini Bakery to create a custom cake for my dear friend that’s from Alaska and asked if she could decorate a cake that looked like summer in Alaska. Not only was she lovely to work with, she NAILED it! The cake exceed my expectations, and the taste of the cake was even better!! We got their signature black velvet. Highly recommend!

We bought our wedding cakes here 22 years ago, and have continued coming here every year for an anniversary cake. People still talk to us about our wedding cake 22 years ago, it was that delicious. Rich and decadent, our favorites are white chocolate raspberry, and almond. Highly recommend.

We picked up a 6” strawberries and cream cake for a birthday. It was the best. This cake feed 4 adults and 2 kids. Everybody was wanting more when it was all gone. Highly recommend.

I order my baby shower cake and it was the best decision I could’ve made! All my guest loved the cake, everyone was delighted with how gorgeous it looked. They went above and beyond, and exceeded my expectations! The two girls that helped me place the order were so sweet and helpful! One gave me the tip to freeze a piece of cake and I did! Trust me you’re gonna want to do the same, you can thank her later! This is the only bakery I will go to!

Got the strawberry cake for a baby shower, the cake was devoured and worked perfectly in our “flower meadow”

Sophie delivered a beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding at the Nasher on 10.25.20. She was so pleasant to work with! Would recommend for any occasion!

White chocolate raspberry cake was delicious. Would recommend again.

Only feedback I would give is the writing on the cake was not professional and very high school grade. For a $55 cake, this was just marker written in...

I would not recommend having them write anything on the cake if they’re going to marker it in.

My daughter’s future mother-in-law, who lives out of town, ordered a cake from here for the engagement party. OMG!!! it was the star of the party. So many people commented that is was the best cake they have ever had - including me! I’ll never order from anywhere else!

Literally the best wedding cake ever. If you are cake people, you MUST have Sophie and her team create your wedding cake! We purposely ordered a larger cake than number of guests at our wedding so that we’d have leftovers, and to our surprise, our guests ATE EVERYTHING! We had a 4-tier bridal cake with white raspberry and toasted almond, and then a groom’s cake in the shape of a vintage suitcase in chocolate/chocolate mousse and they both were equally so incredibly delicious for our October 2021 wedding!! They tasted better than in our take-home tasting! We had so many guests tell us that they “usually don’t like wedding cake, but THIS ONE is SO GOOD!” We could not have been happier with our cakes and Sophie/Anna and team were so amazing to work with throughout the design process!

Sophie and Panini Bakery were amazing to work with for our wedding! I lost count of how many guests told us it was the BEST wedding cake they had ever had and I must agree with them! The design came out just as we planned. I can't wait to use them again for future bakery needs. They are truly Best In Class!

Panini's made our wedding cake and groom's cupcakes and everything was just as delicious as it was beautiful!! The cake was delivered on-time and looked perfect which made this bride so very happy! Sophie was so helpful and patient, even as I changed the cake design a couple times and their pricing was very competitive. Our wedding cake was fantastic! It was the raspberry creme and I loved it, and I'm not even a cake person! We had multiple people come up to use and tell us how much they loved the cake. So good!!!

This family oriented small business has the most amazing heart. They bake with love. I appreciate how Ms Sophie invested time into learning who we are and how we wanted to tell our story thru our wedding cake. I am equally grateful for her being an LGBTQ allie. We love you Panini Bakery

Beautiful and delicious cakes. I got a white cake with fresh strawberries in the filling for a friends birthday. Unfortunately we had to delay the celebration for 5 weeks, which I found out as I was picking up the cake. They gave me instructions on how to freeze and thaw the cake. I was skeptical that it would still be good. Not only was it good but tasted fresh and like it had just been made! I will definitely be ordering from them again.

We went with Panini Bakery for our 6-tier wedding cakes and holy moly, it was beyond mind blowing delicious. I took the first bite thinking it would be just cake and boy I'm glad I was wrong. It was moist and flavorful that I went ahead and got another slice.

Our wedding guests loved the cake so much everyone had seconds, my friends had 4 slices each!

Sophie and Alex at Panini are amazing. Sophie worked with me on my 'wedding cake vision' and it turned out amazing! The cake was not only beautiful, but it tasted AMAZING. All my guests went back for seconds and THIRDS. There was zero cake left and I expected to have about 70 extra pieces. Make sure your caterer packs some for you before it gets eaten like ours did! It was so moist and delicious, you can't go wrong with Panini.

Panini did our cake for our wedding last year and it was perfect. The service was perfect- no problems-so nice!!
The cake tasted AMAZING!! We had people that went back for multiple pieces at the wedding. We are still having people tell us how good it was- one year later!
When any of my friends get engaged- I tell them they have to use Panini (all my other vendors were so-so)

I stopped in last week for the first time upon the recommendation of another local business. I bought chocolate chunk cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and a slice of black velvet cake...the latter was outstanding! Today I called ahead and ordered a black velvet cake for a celebration this coming Sunday with my family...CT Scan...3 more months and cancer free! I also ordered 6 more chunk cookies, a slice of strawberry cream cake, and an order of navy bean soup. Good thing I don't live right next door. Panini is a Taste Sensation!!! Parking is good as well.
