A wonderful family restaurant with welcoming staff, warm atmosphere, and a menu full of rewarding classics that will keep you coming back. Respectful and responsive management, courteous staff, and consistently wonderful kitchen.

This was the first time I've ever went to one of these establishments. I must say the service and other staff were very friendly and made me feel at home. It has a very cozy feel to it.
I had a Cesar salad and the Lasagna. Both were definitely fantastic and the portion size was perfect for lunch. I will be going back for sure and letting others know as well.

We dropped her daughter off at SMU last week, and we all went to Penne Pomodoro and had gluten-free pizza and gluten-free pasta followed up by an espresso & cappuccino. We just spent 2 weeks in Italy with AMAZING food & were ready to be disappointed, but Penne Pomodoro was wonderful. Omar was our waiter, he's super cool, & we'll be back. And then: My Benchcraft pocket knife fell out of my pocket but I didn't notice until the next day, and I called and Lauren found it wedged in the cushion of the seat I was in and she mailed it to me in San Antonio. Above and beyond. I highly, highly recommend this place with great food and even better people. :)

HIGHLY impressed with the gluten free options. GF pizza had the best dough I’ve had, tasted exactly like regular crust and was fluffy! GF pasta is equally good and not too squishy. My only complaint is the unfriendliness and rather rudeness from the to-go servers. Each time I’ve gone here I’ve never gotten a hello or even a smile. They should probably work in the kitchen and not the front.

My friend and I decided to stop in for a light dinner because the weather was so nice. The food was amazing and the service was on point!

The food is absolutely delicious. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very pretty. But this is a very busy part of town. So the restaurant is busy too.

The food here is exceptional, honestly best salmon I've had. The service is also very attentive and kind. They got the food out surprisingly quick, it wasn't too fast though so we had time to enjoy our appetizers.

I absolutely love this place!! This is my go to Dallas brunch spot, but their dinner is equally amazing! The $2 mimosas and Bellini special is extraordinarily, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful! I recently hosted a bridal luncheon for my sister in law and the general manager was extremely accommodating and let me bring in my own decorations for the event. Every time I go, the experience is perfect; fast friendly service, great ambiance, and delicious food. I would highly recommend!!

Friendly staff. Regular visitors known by name are plentiful. The mozzarella bites are not the usual cheese sticks. These are crispy, crunchy, buttery bites oozing with the perfect amount of mozzarella. Great wine selection and fresh handmade pasta and sauces make this place a must visit for fresh Italian food.

Great service, fantastic food. My girlfriend and I ate there on a busy Friday night. We got 2 drinks, an appetizer, and 2 entrees, ate, finished our drinks, and paid the check in less than an hour. Our server did not hesitate and the food was superb!

Great food! The caprese salad was delicious!!!! A little sweet, some tang, the creamy mozzarella, and fresh tomatoes were amazing together. A smidgen on the pricey side, but good service and excellent food. Also, they put the kids' menu on view finders! So original and fun for the kids!

Come here sometimes with my family after church for brunch. Nice little restaurant. High quality food. Friendly staff. Too bad the pancakes went off the brunch menu!

Regretfully, I don't have a photo. Hands down, the BEST Eggplant Parmesan in town. Only my father makes better and my family has been in the restaurant business for over 50 years.

Thinly sliced MULTIPLE layers, with mozzarella, red sauce, parmesan, and baked in way that's hard to describe. It melts in your mouth. Substitute Brussel Sprouts for the pasta and I promise you won't have one thing left on your plate.

This is the go-to family restaurant for Italian in University Park. The staff is extremely courteous and cater to families of all sizes. The food is very good and standard Italian cuisine. The environment is very open and modern but given its popularity, expect it to be noisy. Their Sunday brunch is worth the visit.
