In midst of a family tragedy, this business treated us more like family as opposed to customers / clients. Terry from the very start was very patient and understanding during our time of loss. He was extremely patient as we changed our plans from what was initially planned to a different type of service. He didn't even bat an eye and made sure everything was handled. I also enlisted the help of David Clayton and Sons with the programs, thank you cards, and some prayer/thank you inserts. Jeanie is simply one of the kindest and compassionate person you'll ever meet. She took care of me once again, not like a customer but if I was family. Her level of promptness and execution was perfect. Especially since my head was swimming with all the things that needed to be done, she was Quality Control! And we always said goodbye with a hug. I didn't know I needed those hugs, but after each one I always felt better. Thank you Terry and Jeanie for being amazing wonderful people.

Words really cannot express the wonderful service that we received from Terry and his staff during this time. Their compassion and understanding along with their assistance and guidance made the visitation and funeral the perfect way to honor my Father. They are true artists and did a fantastic job erasing the signs of illness and making my Dad look like he was truly at peace. So very pleased their professionalism.

Terry Edger, is the best funeral director I have ever worked with. He's truly a compassionate, and understanding person, especially when my family and I are going through a difficult time of losing a loved one. He worked late with my family and I to make sure all of questions and concerns were answered. His assistant Lisa was equally helpful and reassuring. I appreciate all of there services and time.

Recently I had the task of laying my Mother to Rest. I chose David Clayton and Sons Funeral Home after attending a service there for a close friends Grandmother. I met with Funeral Director Keith Reed whom instantly showed both Dignity, and compassion for my Family and My deceased Mother. I would not hesitate to recommend David Clayton and Sons if asked by anyone. Keith was awesome to work with, not only knowledgeable, but very patient with my family in our time of grief.

I was responsible for research & initial arrangements for my father in law that recently passed away.
I began my research early in May, I knew what wishes were for my family but NO clue how to execute them.
I made an appointment with Terry at Davis Clayton & Sons. Every question was answered flawlessly! I didn’t feel ANY pressure to upgrade or change anything that I needed basic information on! The entire staff was very kind & understanding.
I had as much information I as thought I needed and needed wellll I was wrong, but Terry gave me the tools for obtaining the details. When my father-in-law passed on the 30th, I was able to take my mother-in-law into the funeral home. Terry was very comforting and made the transaction for payment very easy. Again he didn’t try to push us to upgrade or change any plans we had.

Our family is extremely grateful for the ease this transition has been with Terry’s help!

My mother passed away during this time of the pandemic. This totally restricted the normal way of having visitation and burials. My parents had prearranged their funerals with David Clayton & Sons many years ago. When they were contacted about my mother's death they began the process immediately. Michelle contacted me with warm condolences and a few questions. Within 30 minutes she had all the information we needed and we set a time to meet the next day. David Clayton & Sons went out of their way to try and make the most of a visitation limited to 10 people. Our mother looked beautiful, they provided soft music and allowed us an atmosphere to say our goodbyes. They took care of all the burial arrangements at DFW for us. They took care of everything which took the burden off of us. I don't think you could ask for any better partner to help you through this sad time. A big thank you to Michelle for all the kindness and professionalism.

Terry was very compassionate and caring. He explained everything to us and did not try to talk us into anything we didn’t need. We felt very comfortable with Terry and the entire staff. We left with a huge sense of relief that my dad was in very good hands. Thank you so much!

Great service provided. The staff was very professional and courteous. Funeral director Terry Edgar was very helpful in guiding us with getting the best within our budget, even going as far as including a couple of complimentary
Items. The entire process was stress free and easy on a very difficult time for us.

Michelle was simply phenomenal. My father passed away, and amongst dealing with the stress and emotions that come with that, we were having to deal with it from 250 miles away, as we live in Houston. She was very helpful, responsive and worked with us on everything we needed. What a blessing she was in a very difficult season for us!

Terry was very understanding and considerate. He explained all of my options without trying to sell me something that I didn't want or need during this very difficult time. He was always available to take my calls and walk me through the process. I felt very good about my choice to use them for my husband's final needs. Thanks.

We had my sister Wendys Michelle's funeral there today and I just want to say they did an awesome job for the viewings and the funeral I rate them a 5 so far we've had three or four of our family members at that funeral home they are awesome. I would recommend them and Terry Edgar was awesome he did a great job for the funeral service when i said i rate them a 5 i meant 5 🌟 they were so kind and the staff is awsome so give them 5 stars
