The food here is delicious. Hubby had volcano pork heat level 3. I had sweet and sour shrimp heat 2. Chef knows how to cook. The place is a bit old but clean. The staff was ver sweet.

Great experience!! The food was amazing , and the place was so clean and pleasing to look at. I had basil fried rice and it was the perfect amount of spice. Most definitely recommend!!!

We were seated down fast, order was taken fast, and food came out fast. Food was good. I only wish some of the dishes were a little less sweeter, but if you like sweet, it should be fun.

****I love it that we were also given eggrolls and a salads to start off with!!!!

Even though I came 40 minutes to close the staff was respectful and prompt. The interior was elegant and would work great for a date night or gals' day out. In addition, there was a fun patio area fixed with grass for those perfect spring days that are ahead. The Shrimp Drunken Noodles were unexpectedly delivered within minutes as well as the mango sticky rice. The Drunken Noodles had 6 large shrimp which amazed me for the noodle-to-shrimp ratio. The portion size was on point as well as the vegetable crispiness and amount. The spice level was also acceptable. I enjoyed the cilantro twist for plating. The Sticky Rice had a mango glaze as well as a coconut glaze that I have not had at other restaurants. This was an exquisite choice as mangos are not in season. However, the mango was full of juice and flavor besides them not in season.

The inside of the restaurant is very nice great ambiance. The service is always very fast and courteous. And food is awesome! Can be a bit rich if you get a curry but that’s not a bad thing, and if I want something lighter the menu has tons of options.

Every time I come here I am always able to go in and out very quickly whether I am dining in or just for a quick take out. I usually like to get the pineapple fried rice as a takeout, but decided to dine in during the weekend.

Employees are friendly and consistently works throughout their shift. Services are quick, but not rushed. They can be pretty busy during peak hours.

Tiger cry as an appetizer and crab rice as main dish.

A bit hard to find the parking lot if it’s your first time. Just look for the Thai Monkey sign with stars, you won’t miss it.

This was the first time me and my wife visiting there not knowing what to expect.
For both of us we ordered a lot - fried calamari, crab cakes, Tom yum noodle soup and crab meat fried rice and lastly fried icecream for dessert.
I would rate them as follows -
Crab cakes, noodle soup, crab meat fried rice, fried ice cream and fried calamari.
I would again try the first floor any day.
A big shout out to the girl who was setting up the restaurant for evening service, but still was checking on everything regularly. She was always smiling while serving. A star just for her....

Very attentive and friendly staff. Always get our food pretty fast. Absolutely love that Thai monkey offers vegan options. I got the salad rolls without shrimp, and you can add tofu if you want. Also got the Vegetable red curry without fish sauce with mild spice. Previously I got their medium spice and it was pretty spicy, so if you don’t like spicy I would go with mild instead of medium.

This place is a hidden gem. Their food is amazingly flavorful. They tend to be a bit on the spicy side some times but I love it. We got the drunken noodles with the seafood mix and it had penalty of seafood and also got the red curry with chicken and white rice. We were licking our plates lol. For desert we go the sticky rice with mango it was delicious, although we had better before. Definitely would recommend trying this place. Sorry no food pictures will add next time we order.

The best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. One of the worst parts of moving to Dallas was knowing this wouldn’t be a local option for me anymore. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been fantastic. I have yet to find a comparable Thai place that has drunken noodles with as much punch and flavor as they do. The salad and peanut sauce is such a nice treat prior to your meal. I even asked them about the sauce and was told they make it in house. You can tell this restaurant was made with love and passion and it comes through with the food, decorations, friendly service and more. These waiters work so hard, often covering multiple tables while doing takeout orders when I visit. I hope the owners and employees of this place are doing well because they truly deserve the best, and hope they can expand to other locations (Preferably Dallas😄) to bless more people with this gem. A must-go spot for any Thai food lover

The experience took me back during my military days when i was roaming different places in Asia.
The food is authentic and not a Westernized version. Even the yellow chicken curry i ordered was a surprise because i was used to some Indian and Japanese cuisine preparation. Their version is crispy chicken soaked in thick curry sauce. When i bit into the chicken it was really crispy.

The soup i ordered also has an exquisite taste of its own. It is called Tom Kha. It is basically a coconut milk soup with lemon grass, mushroom, scallion, lime juice and galangal, a ginger like root. Be prepared for the spices and unique taste adventure so far removed from microwaved fast food.

Food is served with a vegetable spring roll with salad and sweet chili sauce. Water is served cold with a slice of lime.

I ordered steamed rice until I consumed all the green curry!!
Ok, this place is fantastic!
Look, I'm not an expert in food, much less Asian food. I travel to Asia for work occasionally.
Here's the thing, I cant say this is the "most authentic" in the City/State/US. What I can tell you is the green curry instantly reminded me of my last trip to Thailand. For me, that's what makes it great.
Meal started off with a side salad. Not on the menu and unexpected. Very welcome
The gyoza were nice and crispy, not too oily.
The Thai dumplings were a little Herby and very tasty.
Green Curry at level 1 spicy was great. I would have enjoyed 2 and tolerated 3 if it scaled appropriately. Got 1 cause wife & kids. 0 is also available.
Kids (4&5) ate stir fried mixed vegetables with chicken. It didn't last.
Drunken Noodle was a 0. Tasted delicious and would have been (for me) so much better at 1 or 2.
We ended up with 2 desserts.
Sticky Rice with mango. Kids destroyed it. I thought it was delicious.
Thai donuts. Had sugar and powdered coconut spread on top. A side of dulce de leche, i think in English that's condensed milk. Super thick and sweet cream that's like icing.
I'm so glad I'm less than 6 miles from this place. I will be coming back to get my fix regularly.

Don’t let the little hole in the wall exterior fool you. This place is a little gem. The yellow curry is so good, along with the garlic lovers plate and the chicken fried rice. The ambience is cozy, but the service is always so warm and friendly. A go to on any day of the week for lunch or dinner !

One of the best thai places I have visited. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere and service to the flavor of spices. They have a good assortment of dishes that include traditional as well as some unique to the establishment. Highly recommend for family/individual meals.

Fairly new restaurant added to the mix in Roanoke. Don’t let the exterior dissuade you from entering. The yellow building and location is not indicative of the decor on the inside or the delicious food, and attentive staff.

The chicken pad Thai was the best I’ve eaten. Finished off the meal by being adventurous and had the sticky rice ice cream. Let me tell you...it feeds the soul!

Very good! More authentic here than other Thai places. Spice was good! Had the pad kra pow and it. I will be back.
