Hey Sugar Candy Store

This little candy shop has almost every type of candy, sweet, treat, and then some to satisfy your cravings. The store has a tremendous variety of traditional candies and candybars to choose from. Their ice cream selection is top notch with a variety of flavors. I purchased my wife some malt balls and a champagne flavored truffles and they were wonderful.

Every time I am having dinner at one of the adjacent restaurants, I make it a point to stop here and have a sweet treat.

Cute little candy store with an amazing selection! We tried several flavors of the salt water taffy! Yum! They also have a great selection of vintage sodas.

Love this place! This candy store is so amazing, the retro candy selection is very cool. On this particular visit I was amazed by their selection of movie candy. They had a large variety to choose from.
They also make their own ice cream and it’s delicious. Not sure which flavor to try? They will kindly give you a sample! The staff is always friendly and helpful. We will be back soon!

Amazing selection of vintage candy and tons of different brands of root beer. Didn't try the ice cream or the custom chocolates but heard others in there with us raving about how good it was. We visit Texas once a year and this place is one the kids love.

Nice small candy shop which located in Roanoke historical downtown. This store carries large variety of chocolates, candies, drinks, and ice cream flavors to choose from. Price is fair compared to other candy stores we been at. We bought coconut cup, dark chocolate orange peel, and coffee truffle to try. All three turned out to be so delicious, definitely will come back here again. We'll try some of their ice cream next time.

A very BIG candy store but I was impressed with their home made ice cream. Creamy not just sugar. Great variety of unique flavors. Their choc was incredible. I mixed it with cookies n cream and PB. My gf loved hers also. Home made chocolates and commercial candies also. They know how to merchandise, filled every inch! We will be back. Best I've had in TX. Great prices also. Very fair!

I think I prefer this shop over the new candy shop just down the road. Odd they would open 2 candy shops so close to one another with the same products. I like this one more because they have a better soda selection and unique ice cream whereas the other shop serves blue bell.

Great cany store with an amazing atmosphere. They have a decent selection of name brand candys as well as candys the pound. I'm always a big fan of the cherry sours. They also have ice cream and fudge and how can you go wrong with that. I will definitely go here agian once I'm in town.

Very cool place for the whole family. They have Ice cream, homemade chocolates, vintage candy and vintage Soda pops. If your looking for something different and out of the ordinary come here.

This a great place to pick up some Old Fashioned Candy and Fudge. Have an Old Fashioned Soda also. This house it is located in its about 100 years old. It belonged to a friend of mine who passed away 7 years ago at the type old age of 93. She would love this place. She had a set tooth.

The ice cream here is delicious! I love seeing the candy and sodas here that are rare in other places! Will definitely be back

This place! Wow, what can I say? It's like walking into 50 decades ago, yet modern at the same time. Kid in a candy store! I made out of there with a ton of candy for very little. Oh! And ICE CREAM!!!

Where do I begin…this candy shop has it all and WOW how nostalgic is the selection. Come to Roanoke to eat and be sure to let the kids stop by this store for a bagful of old fashioned (and modern) candy, ice cream, and even old tine sodas! A+

Hey sugar is a really awesome place. I don't so much enjoy candy but the ice cream here is exquisite. I asked for a small ice cream cone and got a large but it was divine because the waffle cones are made fresh there and they are so good. The atmosphere feels like you're inside a Katy Perry music video.

I loved the exterior and interior of this candy/ice cream shop. The place itself is full of nostalgia. They had great ice cream and a variety of ice cream’s, candies, specialty sodas and so much more. I will definitely be back and would recommend making a trip to the store!

One of our family favorites to stop in after a nice meal down the street. They are always very welcoming and helpful to help fix your sweet tooth craving.

I can't drive up 35W without taking a detour to this place. Love this place and old Roanoke.

It's just a fun place to take the kids, at least that's my excuse for enjoying all the special items I had forgotten, way, way back when I was a kid! Yummmm!!

If you aren't getting the buzzy bee, you're doing it wrong. Seriously. The ice cream is phenomenal. The candy selection is what you expect in most small town candy stores which is absolutely a good thing. Kudos to the staff for gracefully dealing with 14 screaming children
