Love this place! Excellent service. I came in to get a deer processed. Small deer, 32 pounds but Got jerky sticks, Cajun rolls, pan sausage, summer sausage, all different variations: sweet chipotle, habanero, pepper jack cheese… DELICIOUS!
2 week turnaround time. Fairly priced.
Also had a breakfast taco inside. Perfect.

Local place with damn good moist brisket!
Atmosphere casual inside a meat market.
2 meat plate $15.99 includes 2 sides, 2 large slices of bread, homemade pickles and some awesome sauce. Sauce is homemade tomato based sauce with a pepper kick.

Smoked brisket lean had a slight classic bark but was still moist and tasty.

Smoked turkey breast was a little salty but still good.

Coleslaw had purple & regular cabbage, celery seed and tangy vinegar mayo mix sauce so good!

Mac and cheese was creamy and yet not too gooey just enough cheese sauce!

Don’t forget to get the banana pudding :). It’s fluffy and fresh!

I will be coming back for more !!!

My son picked up a tomahawk steak for me to make with our Christmas dinner, he’s new to Katy,TX his friends told him go to Midway! Best decision it was tender and really really delicious we came down from Kansas City was great to find a nice place like this close by! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 we will be back for sure 👍

I think the others reviews have said more than I can summarize—Let me add that they’re serving some really good food. After walking around the store we decided to check out the menu. <10mins later, our order was brought to our table. The food was better than expected and now we have to remember to bring cash to tip the cook! What a cool place to stumble upon, I’ll definitely be back to buy some meats.

This is pretty much the only place we buy our meat from. Guaranteed to be fresh and clean. Courteous and friendly service. We also enjoy their sausages and lunch.

I never buy meat at the grocery store! The best meat hands down. Always fresh. The guys will cut our meat to your specifications. Love their fillets and the Bacon Fajita Roll!

Great food and their elk burgers are the best of any burger I have ever eaten. The meat is moist and has good taste. No wild taste.

I got their cheeseburger and added bacon and grilled onions. Since then I have been back numerous times. Easily the best burger consistently that I have found. I have had a better burger but when I went back to that other place, they never can make it as good again. Mid Way gets it right every single time. Also the fries are great and the onion rings. If you like sliced bbq beef sandwiches, they are really good too.also the store has good meats! Definitely give it a shot if you are looking for a good burger. Also it's never crowded. Hidden gem type place I guess.

Heard about this place for years on AM radio. Brought in a buck for processing this season. The finished meat products were excellent. The summer sausages and Cajun Rolls are a must have. The packaging is great and won't freezer burn. Friendly helpful staff.

Good on dinner was really good. A little salty, but I like it this way. Grocery store, meat market, deer processing and burger shack.

They serve some very tasty and interesting sandwiches and burgers which can be ordered to go (in person or online) or you can enjoy the indoor eating area. The meat market, which is basically an old school butcher shop, has excellent cuts of beef and pork. The sausage variety is excellent as well. With the basic selection of vegetables and fixins they offer, you can cook up a superb meal at home as I do, regularly.

Great selection of fairly priced fresh and frozen meat. The butchers are super friendly and very knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to trying some of the spices for homemade bacon, sausage, and burgers. The food in the deli looks delicious as the have a nice assortment of cheese and deli meat (don't confuse large with nice).

Excellent place for venison sausage, fresh beef, and pork. No more grocery store chickens for me. Excellent prices, too. Definitely my new go-to meat market. And, very friendly, helpful staff. Thank you for making my first experience worth the trip!

Best venison sausage around. Big selection of flavors and available year round. Jalapeno/cheddar is the go to and I usually get 5lbs at a time.

My father and I go here ever year for deer processing and they never fall short of giving good service. Great selection. Highly recommend going there for deer processing. They also do hog processing but I if it has a pair of low hanging swinging fruit on it the will not take it, just a heads up

First class service. Midway processed my whole animals quickly and at rate that you can’t beat. The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous.

Although the signage says “deer processing”, they do an amazing job on domestic stock animals.

My large order (sheep and lamb) was ready 3 weeks earlier than the agreed processing time.

Great local grocery with good selection of meats and awesome lunch! The staff is very friendly and helpful and greets you with a smile. I enjoy eating lunch here every week (especially with the bottled Big Red)!

We got some Pepper Jack sausage from Midway Food Market, cooked it this morning and it was wonderful! Love the flavor of the sausage. The Midway Food Market is kinda like going back in time to an old fashioned meat market, plenty of customer service and a great experience.

Herman and his family have been processing our deer and wild hogs for 8 years and we could not be happier. All their recipes are fantastic and we have shared our wild game with many family and friends who rave about the flavor. Whether it's deer tamales, jalepeno cheddar sausage or their pepper jack deer sticks, you simply cannot go wrong with Midway Custom Deer Processing!

The place was clean and everyone was nice and helpful. Got quite a bit of meat of all kinds. It was professionally wrapped as requested.
Overall great experience. We will be back!
