I called Katy Hardware to see if they had a specific circuit breaker, because I didn’t want to drive out past Old Katy. They had the circuit breaker, and were very helpful when I got there finding it and getting me checked out. Even when they were at the previous location they’ve always been kind and helpful. They also offer sharpening services.

I came here to get keys duplicated and the process was super easy and cheap! Kylie, Julia, and Shirley were all helpful and this location isn't far from my house so I will definitely be coming back for my hardware needs. I love supporting local business and this place is top notch.

I love this store. Very well organized and a ton of employees willing to help you. I like the bolt and screws sections. I can buy one bolt instead of a pack of 10

Do you remember when after paying for your items, the cashier would actually say "thank you"? I miss that. After all, I did make the effort to go into the store and my purchases contribute to the livelihood of the owners and employees. That being said, most of my previous review stands....
I can't say enough good things about Katy Hardware. The sales staff and most of the cashiers are top notch. The sales staff has a level of caring that is difficult to find elsewhere. It's a rare occasion that I go to a big box store because 90% of the time Katy Hardware has what I need for home repair and home improvement. The prices are comparable to other retail stores. It's definitely worth the price of convenience for a Katy area resident or business. I highly recommend this business and have been recommending them for over 20 years.

The man who helped me was polite and very helpful. Kudos to him.I was walking looking like I was lost believe I was. He took me right to what I was looking for. I have been to, too buck two and back couldn't find it anywhere. They had a lot on the floor. I told him 10 pkgs and he count them out to me. He deserves Employee of the Month. Keep up the excellent work.

I came here to have some screens made for my house. Every employee I encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The screens were perfect. It was so nice to have the experience of going to a hardware store where people truly wanted to help and make sure the job was done right. Thanks!

I was very pleased with their customer service. Me and my son were greeted by almost, if not every single employee as I walked in and as I was being helped. Came in looking for fertilizer, Shannon was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I will definitely be back for some late winter fertilizer.

I love these guys. Every time I need to ask a question someone is there to help get me the right product and even let me pick their brain (Robert is one, and a lady familiar with gardening though I can't recall her name right now).

I rented an aerator from them a couple of weeks ago and, being my first time I thought it would take longer than 4 hours so I rented a full day. They said if I returned it "approximately" four hours later they'd refund the difference. They did. No questions or hassles.

This place is a bit of a drive for me but if I need non-emergency materials, this is where I go.

I love visiting this place. Got to see their new garden/barbeque center and bought some things I've been looking for. My favorite thing is the store pets snoozing on the display shelves and the local kids running the check out.

I found the staff great- friendly and eager to help. The young man helping me was knowledgeable and helpful. And I was impressed with their variety and inventory. I was looking for 3 large hard to find fuses for our old home and they had one! Two electrical stores where I checked first did not. He offered that they can get more for me if I'd like. When checking out, Makenna at the front desk called their sister Ace store in Richmond and they had one and an employee there brought it to the Katy store on her way home! What service! This is now our go-to hardware store.

This is a good place to go. The people who work there really know what they are talking about. Also they carry Bengal flea( cannot find any where else). Prices are a little higher than chain stores but you get what you pay for.

I LOVE this store! Not only do they have everything I want/need, the staff is very knowledgeable and will spend as much time as I need to help me find things and answer questions about the products. (I'm a 77 yr old female who happens to still be the "handy person" at our house) It's a pleasure to shop there. Try it, you'll like it.

Great place. We got there at opening on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and was asked by three different people if we needed help. You never get that at Home Depot. Patronize this place because they are your neighborhood hardware store. Said absolutely everything I needed and I heard the owner giving very accurate and good Plumbing advice to a woman who had a problem with a stuck drain. Once again you don't ever get that at Home Depot. There are no experts anymore at big box stores but they sure are at Katy Ace

I love Katy Hdwr, they are absolutely the best! It's always so helpful to be able to talk with people that know what they are talking about. They have a wonderful gift selection, the employee's are great, and the owners are great, and will always go the extra mile for the customer.

Great personnel, helpful and will explain how to do house repairs in an effective way. Has the hardware store energy that the box stores lack.

Love it! Way better than going to Home Depot or Lowe's. I always find what I need and they are very helpful. Plus I love the cat just chilling on the fertilizer. Would recommend!

We went to Katy hardware this afternoon because we ran out of paint. Mr. Bobby assisted us at the paint counter- excellent customer service. I had to run back by (a second time) a few minutes before closing. He mixed the paint and sent me on my way.
We were able to finish our project!

You won't find a better hardware store. They have a very knowledgeable staff that in time will learn your first name. It's really nice to go into a store and see the same faces year after year. Hoping that the owners don't make to much money and sell one day! They've done an amazing job building a company that people truly enjoy going to. We need a 6 star option for this company.

Wonderful customer service!
I was helped by Robert and he was so helpful and nice to my husband and I. We came back multiple times and were having problems with equipment but he was so friendly and helpful and even went out of his way to help us.
Give that man a raise!
