Everything about this this place is excellent. The atmosphere, the location, and the food was absolutely delicious. Big portions. Margreta is what an amazing server should be. She was friendly and made us felt welcome. She explained the menu and was just sweet. I will definitely return. We had the butchers special and the grilled chicken jasmine rice.

Ate outside because of the nice front deck, but also took a quick tour inside - very nice. Really enjoyed the meal, and I especially loved the southern hushpuppies!

The food was amazing, we had the bacon wrapped quail and grits, the salmon, and a 12oz NY Strip with the chocolate eruption cake to finish it off. Service was great, food even better. We would come back here every time we were in Brenham but don’t come often. Only complaint was the specialty cocktail margarita was not my thing but my ladies liked it so it just wasn’t for me, should have gone with a Bourbon.

My husband and I were driving home to Austin from Houston and stopped for an early dinner. We are so glad we did.

Our server, Sonja P., was wonderful! We had the crab cakes, sirloin (perfect medium rare), mashed potatoes and honey balsamic Brussel sprouts. Finished with the flourless chocolate cake with salted caramel sauce.

Delighted by the atmosphere in this charming restaurant. We chatted with the tables near us, figuring out what we will try the next time we stop at this special place!

What a lucky find! We were driving from Marble Falls to Houston with our pups and stopped here for lunch. It was excellent. I had the Airline Chicken Breast and my husband had the Three Cheese Macaroni with chicken. We started with black eyed pea and tomato basil soup. From the food to the service everything was excellent. We will be stopping here again!

We really enjoyed our time there last weekend. It was very relaxed and the staff was attentive and friendly. They had a good menu that was too extensive. We had the sliders and the Wagu steak flatbed. I enjoyed both. My wife liked the sliders more than the flatbed. She thought the goat cheese was a little overpowering, bit I thought the acid of the balsamic worked well with it. We'd definitely go back the next time there in Brenham.

I’m a fan of quail since I was a kid. Do not miss their presentation. Deboned quail breast expertly cooked with excellent accompaniments. Definitely the best I’ve ever had.

My wife and I have been wanting to try Ninety Six West foe some time. We finally got our chance. My wife had a Caesar salad with chicken and I had the Grilled Salmon over Rice and green beans. Both dishes were very good and the atmosphere on the patio was great. The staff was friendly and prompt. The prices are on the high side but overall a good experience.

Excellent experience. Friday night at 7pm...only about 1/4 of the tables filled. Quick and friendly service with no issues. Argentinian Chimichurri and Buffalo Chicken flatbreads were rated as excellent (some of the better bread we've tasted in a while)...Cowboy Sliders also excellent. We ate inside, but the outside certainly appeared to be popular too.

Hands down the best restaurant we could find while visiting Brenham, Texas. We searched endless online reviews, talked to locals and tried all the top recommendations and for us this restaurant took the gold. I will say, the service and bar were slow and seemed distracted, but the food and cocktails were excellent.

Fantastic food, drinks, and service. Kelly was our waitress and she did a wonderful job. Very attentive and genuinely a nice person. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Come to 96 west the drinks were awesome! Ps don’t forget to ask the bartender for free cheese sticks.

Really enjoyed dining here for dinner. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining. We dined outside since it was a pleasant evening. Upon entering the restaurant because you have to speak to hostess for all seating, we went inside. Restaurant had a steady flow of customers inside and outside. Atmosphere was nice and music was upbeat 70s 80s Era( I think) anyway music I remembered from growing up singing to. We were seated and our server came introduced himself and proceeded to tell us about items not listed on menu but were available for the night. We'll poised, professional, and attentive to our needs. The food was extremely delicious. We started with Chicken Nachos and they were very tasty. Could have been an entree as well. The hubby had the doubled pork chops on a bed of apples and onions with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes and I had Strawberry Bleu Salad. Tea was our drink of choice. Each food item was very appealing to the eye when it arrived. Chops cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. Potatoes and asparagus just as delicious. The salad was huge to my standards and loaded with Bleu cheese. I'd added grilled chicken. All vegetables in it were fresh and crisp. Umm Umm good! We could not have had a better experience. This will definitely be one our new restaurants. I highly recommend for a nice night out.

We shared the prosciutto flatbread and the stuffed peppadews. Everything was delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive. Great place!

So delicious. We started with cocktails and sliders 44 (fantastic) our server Robert was perfect. Dinner was delicious from a summer salad to a wagyu steak. Finishing with the Italian cream cake and a chocolate implosion (? I may have e the name wrong) but rich and delicious. Aside from the excellent food the atmosphere is fresh with fun local art. If you like the cows check out Ray Hadaway, seriously fun art great colors. Trying to decide which one I need!

Very good service and food! It was a nice evening to enjoy sitting outside. A great little spot in the heart of Brenham. Updated: also a great spot for good wine! The chocolate eruption cake is sinful ❤

Always good and a tad upscale but a good way to experience more than a burger or pizza. Prices are reasonable and service is always good too!

Lived in Brenham my whole life and it was my first time at this gem ! Amazing food but even better service the way me and my friends got treated like royalty was amazing the food was to absolute die for and don’t get me started on the mimosas! 100 stars !!!

great food and service. it felt like we were in a movie- the outdoor seating area was dreamy. the weather was perfect in april- it might be a little too hot now in the summer

Austin makes a mean bloody Mary. Pickles green beans and olives. Have it as hot and spicy as you like. Order a flat bread on the side and your ready to roll. No lack in flavor on this menu. The atmosphere and decor are super upbeat and fun.
