Vibe- Cute coffee shop in Katy, TX! There’s about 9 tables inside to sit at and an area against the front with high seats. They offer sandwiches and parties in addition to the coffee drinks!

Customer service- great!

Food/drinks- I got the seasonal matcha blossom (iced) and the hot toffee moon that is made with sea salt caramel toffee; they were both delicious!

Parking- There’s a good amount of parking spots in the lot.

Really liked this coffee shop. Nice area to stay and work/learn. Pleasant interior, bright atmosphere. And coffee tastes good!

Lava Coffee is one of my favorite coffee locations. Peaceful environment for working on projects or studying. It has helpful and friendly staff. I’ve tried several of their coffees and food you cannot go wrong.

Katy rules when it comes to bubble tea shops and fresh fruit drinks but it’s always a little hard to find decent coffee. I returned to Lava after a year and they didn’t disappoint. The latte tasted even better than last time and I love their Pokémon themed decor, they know their audience. Good tables for working and a couch and clean bathrooms. I didn’t try their lavender specialities but I’m sure it will be a good one to try if you are into it. They have some good pastries and sandwiches. If you are looking for a coffee spot to pregame before you hit your favorite hotpot spot or noodle join, Lava is your spot! Highly recommended.

Stopped in here for a recharge this afternoon and loved the Chai Pie Latte! It is on their seasonal menu for the fall and was on point for not being too syrupy sweet but rather a balanced flavorful blend of chai and pumpkin. Definitely a must try!

One of the most comforting coffee shops I've ever been to. I came to meet a friend, and stayed for over an hour after they left. The staff we welcoming and extremely kind, and their attitude made my visit incredibly warm and comfortable. The food was fantastic, the staff were accomodating, and the coffee was delicious.

Even on a Sunday, this place is quiet and calm. The staff seem to have a good time with each other, which makes this place even more appealing to me.

I rarely leave reviews (as I am forgetful), but felt so moved by my time here that I'm leaving one before I even go home, so I *can't* forget. 10 out of 10, will definitely be coming back again.

Best coffee shop ever I literally love the atmosphere and customer service. I was even able to finish my book “The true meaning of Love” just by being motivated to get out the house and this place is definitely a vibe to get work done

we ordered a campfire latte & a toffee latte. both were delicious. inside the cafe is cute & comfortable, the person who took our order was helpful & kind. i recommend !

very friendly and helpful baristas, come with questions, and leave with a drink you will like. Good music, good coffee, and a cozy work environment makes for a good mobile office setup

They have a great atmosphere very quiet and welcoming…the smell of coffee. My boyfriend got the Sahara Sunset which was very floral yet citrusy. I got the Toffee Moon which I really love how sweet it was. They have a selection of books & manga you can read. I love that they can add CBD to coffee I will be getting that next time we go.

Really cute coffee shop, clean and quaint. I ordered a flat white, so good, Love the fact that the Cups have the word LAVA on it, so cute! looks like your drinking lava.. lol. If you would like a really good cup of coffee and a coffee shop that is not so busy, I got my coffee in less than five minutes or so. Staff is very nice and there is an amazing artist on site, they have art on some cups not sure if you can use those cups but they look pretty cool. I will be definitely be back again. Give them a try, it’s always good to support our local businesses

We got the Honey Bear Latte and Butterbeer Latte with oat milk and both were delicious! Great quick service and good vibes. They have a bookshelf of games, books and manga to borrow while you’re there too!

This is my favorite coffee spot in Katy - I’ve ordered in-store and on delivery app, always a great experience either way. My go-to is the Honey Lavender Latte, my husband always gets the Dark Moon Latte. Plus the Almond Danish! 10/10

My wife and I came here around 3pm and there were half a dozen or so tables taken, but still had plenty of room and was very quiet. Drinks were very good. We’ll definitely be coming back

Tripped over this place after leaving a business in the same shopping center and I'm so happy to have stopped by! The baristas were so nice and knowledgeable on coffee! Love their creative selection of specialty and seasonal drinks! Highly recommended!

There's a cozy, relaxed vibe and a great variety of drink options at Lava! The barista was so friendly and helpful! I really loved that the bourbon legend latte was not too sweet and the apple pie latte was a perfect seasonal treat!

First time coming here and was pleasantly surprised. Staff is friendly and the space is warm and comfortable. Definitely a good place to come and study or get work done. We’ve tried their Honey Bear Latte and Domino Mocha and both were delicious. Definitely will be back!

I'm not sure if it happens always,,but the WiFi signal was bad,,all around the area.

I have done all three: delivery, takeout and dine in. DELICIOUS EVERY TIME! Great coffee at a good price with friendly, helpful staff every. Single. Time. Easily became my new favorite study spot after the first visit. As long as i’m in this area i’m another life customer! (Yes, better than starbucks). I have a sensitive stomach and the flavors, syrup and espresso are all always balanced SO perfectly. Thanks!
