Old Town Animal Hospital

We've been with OTAH since 2018. The staff is courteous, well-trained, and personable. Dr. Knight is very knowledgeable and has always provided excellent care for Shelli & Sofia.

My dog has been taken care of here since he was born. They've taken care of all his puppy shots all the way to his full-grown needs. We've had him fixed here as well.

The staff is very friendly, animal lovers, and respectful. Highly recommend.

I discovered OTAH in December of 2023 when my dog got very very ill. Up until this point, I absolutely dreaded taking my pet to the vet. But I needed her to be seen ASAP for her GI issues she was having. I was immediately impressed with the customer service. The receptionist listened to my concerns and answered my questions thoroughly before recommending I bring her in for an exam the following day, on a Saturday (which I love that they offer!). I was so relieved they were able to get me in. Everyone from the vet techs to the vet were so loving and kind to my dog and me. My anxiety immediately dissipated and they made sure she was well taken care of. They were thorough, informative, and attentive in their care, but I felt like they understood I was trying to be as conservative as possible with cost, and only ran tests that were absolutely necessary instead of trying to upcharge me for things. They were very comprehensive in their evaluation and exam. They sent me home with medicine (that I didn't have to pick up at a pharmacy!) and her issues cleared up in no time. We've had a few follow up visits since then, and I've seen three different vets, numerous vet techs, front office staff, all of whom I've absolutely loved. Everyone is so attentive, kind, professional, and make you feel they truly care about your pet as much as you do. Anytime I email or call reception I get top notch customer service. They are extremely responsive and prompt. I am so grateful I found this vet and feel at peace knowing that they will be helping me care for my pet over the coming years. Look no further if your in need of a trusted vet! I could not love Old Town Animal Hospital any more.

Lightning was not feeling well but after tests ,& medicine he is doing nuch. Old Town Animal is excellent

I suspected my cat had a UTI, texted on a Sunday evening, and was squeezed in promptly Monday. Dr. Hicks and his staff go the extra mile every time for my pets. I'm so grateful for them!

My 3 dogs & I love Old Town Animal Hospital in Katy, TX! They are always willing to get us in when one of my dogs needs something, and they have been very comforting and friendly to my doggies. I definitely recommend Old Town Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a reasonably priced yet quality veterinary hospital!

September 5th, 2019 I had to say goodbye to my cat, Lego. They were very kind throughout the whole process. I would of given this review then but it was just hard to do for me. The cremation service they network with is spectacular and gave such detail to the paw prints of him I wanted to keep (see pic). Thank you for the lovely card too! I still have it!

Fast forward a few months now and today I brought in the new family member to our lives, a pup named Luna. The staff had the same kindness and love shown back in Sept. I was very happy to work with Kat, the same vet tech that helped me thru the process with Lego. They gave me all the prices upfront for different options to treat a skin condition our pup got. Very friendly and caring and not pushy about doing the most expensive treatment. Truly appreciate the options! Kat is such an awesome tech and the Vet who came to check on Luna, amazing too!

I have to give a shoutout to the lovely front desk receptionist also that gave attention to Luna when she playfully “stood over” the desk to say “hi,” while I was busy checking out with another receptionist. See picture I attached please. Thank you for the love shown to our pup! So happy with this Veterinarian hospital! It feels like home.

Dr. Hicks, Dr. Chea, and their team are simply amazing! They took great care of our Venus, and her new puppies. They are a very kind, patient, and caring team. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone and we will definitely be back! We are looking forward to our future visits!

I really like this place! It's always quick to get in and out. They let me know when my dog is due for his shots. I think Wednesday is discounted vaccine day. Dr. Chea (sp?) is the absolute best. She made a difficult diagnosis on my dog and saved me a lot of money from failed diagnosis' from other vets. I'm a faithful customer for good now.

Dr. Hicks is a life saver! My family's been working with him for years and started bringing our german shepherd to him and they're always so attentive and work so well with anxious animals! Would recommend to anyone on the west side, super friendly staff and very knowledgeable, even when allergies are a debate between multiple vets, Old Town has been the best settled situation thanks to his decades of experience!

I love these people. They are so kind and listen so good. Great place to take your animal(s)and even when I couldn't make it in, they helped me over the phone!!!God Bless them all.

Old Town with their entire staff led by Dr Hicks have taken wonderful care of all of our pets for many years. We thank them for many years of great service with a very caring manner.

This is a great vet practice, I take my cats here for all their check ups and little ailments. Nothing is too small and it's all taken seriously. I'm always given plenty of options in a clear format before anything happens and the vets explain things in easy terms, which is very comforting when you're already worried.

Communication is great and the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the vets are very patient even with the most badly behaved cat. I'm going to continue trusting my kitties with this practice.

We’ve been coming to this vet for over a decade. They are reasonable and compassionate. I don’t trust anyone else with my pets. My pets like going there because the techs are so amazing that even after shots, they leave feeling loved and full of treats 😊

I brought 6 puppies in for there tails to be docked and I had a great experience. I felt a little rushed with the veterinarian, but she answered all the questions I had. Definitely recommend

They provided superb, emergency care!! And they are reasonably priced!!

Dr. Hicks is great! He helped to ease the pain my poor pup is having in her hip and removed a tumor. The wait was short and Dr. Hicks to the time to discuss the X-rays in person when we picked her up.

We have found the vets and staff at OTAH are caring and compassionate with reasonable pricing and a rewards system! We have taken our two dogs there for years, after other animal clinics have failed but were always happy to take the money! Highly recommend them if you are in need of great pet care!
