Don't be fooled by the gas station outside. This is a HIDDEN GEM of a bakery! The lady that helped us was SO knowledgeable. She helped us pick some great options and was able to give us the history behind many of the baked goods.

When you go the kolaches are an obvious MUST try. But do NOT sleep on the jalapeno cheese sausage in sweet bread (don't remember the proper name). The soft sweet bread and the savory sausage... WOW. Best we ever had!

I stop here on just about every trip to Houston. They have a great selection and it definitely beats getting a pre packaged donut from the convenience store next to it. My favorite is their little cream cheese but everything I have had from is delicious

I went here for the first time today and it was amazing! First of all, the lady who worked the counter was so nice. I’m sad I didn’t get her name but she was very helpful with any questions I had. I’m out of town so I knew nothing about this place but I will be going back when I get the chance. I got the Rice Krispie treat and a cream cheese danish and it was by far the best! Everything made here is home made and fresh. I definitely recommend this place!

Long line but moves fast. The ladies working have have probably been there for years. I didn't see any younger employees which I loved. These ladies had a friendship you could tell. The atmosphere was lovely. Welcoming, inviting, everyone looked up and said hello. So much to choose from behind the glass from bread, pie, danishes, croissant's etc. The ladies help you decide and don't make you feel rushed. Glass was Clean and dessert were fresh. I had a croissant and a cherry cream cheese danish. Heaven! You must make a potty break here. Clean bathrooms attached to gas station and McDonald's I believe. I am happy with this place. Highly recommend!

By far my favorite Klobasniky’s (pigs-in-the-blanket) and Kolaches in town!

These ladies are so hard working and nice! It feels like going into a family’s home/business.

Right now they have a pumpkin and cream cheese kolache that is so delicious! Can’t go wrong with any other fruit flavor, I truly love the lemon 🍋 ones.

Wonderful and delicious, authentic Czech bakery has fresh kolaches, cinnamon rolls, honeybees and brownies. Great place to stop for lunch, then load up on goodies to take home! You won't be disappointed.

This kolaches are exceptional!! I'm from Prague, Czech Rep., and I think these are better than the ones in Prague.
I've tried kolaches all over Texas and nothing even comes close.
We go out of our way to come here and send all our friends.

Always fabulous! They are always out of some of the menu items but there have so many other good ones that it's never a problem.

Always good and fresh. Cream cheese kolache is our go-to and well as jalapeno sausage and cheese. Had a guest who lives in Australia who never heard of Kolaches, needless to say, he took some home.

Fantastic !! The service was fast and I have to breakdown and say that these are the best Kolaches I EVER had! Sorry Czach Stop - West, I still love you but I think we should see others! The Chocolate Cream and the Peaches Cream at Weikel”s are AMAZING! The sweet woman behind the counter (lives in LaGrange) you were phenomenal! ! Thank you for a great experience and great pastries!

I love their stuff! My favorite pig is the ham and pepperjack. I'm also greeted with friendly smiles and they they always make me feel special.... thank you!

Perfect spot for kolaches on the go. I wish it were closer to Houston. The cheese Danish style pastry tastes just like a New York cheesecake. The signature cinnamon roll pastry was awesome as well. They also had local honey with different pollen types. Wanna quick bite for something besides pastries? They have you covered with Turkey wraps! AND THE BUTTERMILK PIE? Fahgetaboutit!!!

Cute little bakery attached to a convenience store/gas station. Sausage rolls, kolaches, and breakfast sliders were amazing! Great place to stop for breakfast & coffee!

Great kolaches! Almost as good as what my aunts used to make when I was a kid (actually they were way better than what my aunts made but don’t tell them, they’d box my ears for sure if they found out I said it)

Have been passing by this shop for years going between Austin and Houston. Normally stop at bucee's down the road but decided to stop for our halfway stop at this shop this trip. Definitely a good choice. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the kolaches were amazing.

On a business trip and needed to make a pit stop, we saw this place and decided to pull over to grab something. We knew it was a bakery, but didn’t know that they specialized in kolaches. I got a few for the road along with some coffee and as soon as I got into the car I dug right in. They were simply delicious and actually not killer sweet. My fave was the blueberry. Strawberry actually tastes like strawberry, that’s a plus. I really liked the dough too. Soft, moist and light. Ahhh, I now have an another fave spot to drop in and get a sweet treat. Thanks yall and keep it up! Told ya I’d leave a review by the end of the day.

This place looks like it’s in a gas station, but don’t let it deter you. Kolaches are the best I’ve had in a while. Bread is fluffy and fillings are delicious. Staff is VERY NICE. Will be back.

Enjoyed this bakery in Brenham, Tx. This is our first visit here, and we found quite a few items to take home with us. There were a few pies to choose from, and we got the Apple Crumb pie, which we took to a friend’s house for dessert after a get together, and it was delicious. This being a Czech bakery, we took home fruit kolaches, and apple strudel, and they were awesome. We will stop in often.
