Calvary Baptist Church

I was looking for a church in the Brenham area to call home. My grandmother goes to Calvary, so I gave them a try. Everyone is so welcoming there, and friendly. The Pastor(Pastor Billy) teaches the word of God excellently, and has a sense of humor too. I really like the emphasis on the teachings of Jesus. I was Baptized here, and became a member. If you are searching for a place that focuses on Jesus, and good old traditional hymns, I recommend Calvary Baptist highly. They are small enough that you don't feel like just another number, but there is so much room for it to grow. God Bless!

I was there for a meeting but Pastor Billy is a top drawer evangelical pastor. If I wasn't already going to a great truth telling Christian church (Cowboy Church of Brenham) I would consider going there.
