Gladewater Water Billing

Frauds!! They literally charge you more in fees than your actual water bill. On the 11th of every month they charge a late fee of 10% and on the 21st of every month they charge a $50 disconnect fee regardless if they turn off your water or not. After you pay the entire balance, which includes all of the fees listed above, they charge you an additional $25 reconnect fee even when they never disconnected the service to begin with. They are scam artists that make it harder for the people that are fighting poverty. Not to mention there are boil notices almost every month and they are constantly fixing water lines and pipes that burst. Old infrastructure and terrible unsafe drinking water.

If you like your water pressure to be nothing but drips you’re in luck!! They’ve also incorrectly billed us and asked if it was “really worth it” when I called to ask them to fix it. Jeez these folks just don’t care, none of that southern hospitality I’ve heard so much about
