Food was rather good, very relaxed and quiet environment, I would definitely recommend if your in Gilmer and wanting for good Chinese Buffet

My husband is a BIG fan of.the Chinese buffet. They also have a cook-to-order bar and many dessert choices. It is reliably good, fresh even when it's 130 and a very good value.

They have the best food, traveling across the country for the last 15 years. This is the best food we have had . The price is very good .

Small, quaint buffet with a good selection of dishes. All hot and fresh, great pricing.

This is a Chinese buffet restaurant. I eat there a lot and always enjoy the good hot fresh selections.
Sometimes I order chicken fried rice off of the menu. And they are happy to make it for you! THE BEST CHICKEN FRIED RICE I HAVE EVER EATEN!!
I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed!

The service is always on point. The food has always been hot, and tasty. The grill is an added boon that not many local Chinese buffet restaurants have anymore, which is a shame, but I'm thankful for this one! The sushi is always fresh and absolutely delicious.

The price? You can't beat the price. I'm talking under 40 bucks for two adults and two older kids. Unbeatable!

Pretty good food, it looks like it has changed owners or maybe just management recently they are changing up the buffet and sushi bar. They didn't have any of the dipping sauces they normally have, but everything was really good.

We stopped in on our way home from Mt Pleasant back to Longview. This place has lots of different food options that were really good.

We were greeted in a good timely manner as we walked in the door. When I asked for easy ice in my drink, they delivered. 😊 Food was fresh, and delicious. Thank you Buffet Village.

For a small town I was impressed. They have a grill cook and you pick out what you want and hand it to him that is my favorite part of it cuz I'm kind of a little picky. One thing I wish they had was eggs to go in my food for the extra protein. But for the price and what you get I think it is a wonderful place I go there every time I am in the area.

Very friendly staff and the food is good, especially the coconut shrimp & salt and pepper shrimp, they peel it before cooking it which makes it so much easier to eat! Egg drop soup is my favorite. However, they put tofu in it, yuk 😫
Update 9/6/19. Have been three times since and have gotten sick to my stomach the last two times. Ordered from the menu to go last night thinking if it's made fresh from the kitchen it might be better. It's a no for me! Ate a little but , stomach started hurting and vomiting ensued. We won't be back .

I drive to Gilmer just to eat at this place! Best Chinese Buffet restaurant in my opinion!! Way better than any of the ones in Longview. It's clean. Considering it's part buffet style (part, you pick out or built your own, and it's prepared to order, at their in house grill station), the food has always been fresh, no matter what time of day you go. No matter which option/style, you choose. Consistently good food! Staff is nice, and very attentive to their customers! Eat in, or take out, either way, they offer a good variety in dish choices here!!!

Excellent service and food selections. Dine-in or carry-out. Plenty of dine-in space for the customer volume they have. I would love to see the parking lot improved. I believe it has the potential to grow. Buffet Village is a must if you enjoy Chinese food.

I love the Mongolian part of the place. The lady at the front desk is always nice to me. I love her smiling face. She needs to just start hugging me when she sees me! She is like family i go in so much. I used to go in a ton . They never knew my name they called me one to go.. I started thinking that was my name. I love there food.

The food is just delightful in this place and the service is awesome. Great place to go eat with family highly recommended

I love Chinese food.I especially like the chicken dishes, and the vegetables. The vegetables should be cooked better so they would be more tender. I like that they have a big assortment of desserts. Good waiters. Convenient restrooms. Good parking.

Amazing grill
Today I got there at opening and everything was wonderful and fresh and delicious.

Parking is pretty good, three buffet tables in main area plus a Mongolian grill, ice cream has 6-8 flavors to choose, and a small alcove with deserts, sushi, and fish. Seafood served in evenings. We have been customers for over a decade, and they are always polite and pleasant. One of our favorites. Prices are typical of Chinese Buffet restaurants.

Always good freah food. The grill is amazing people are nice. But..... If you change tour drink make sure you tell them to bring a new glass. I didnt like tge tea and asked for a coke.. The waitor mixed them it was horrible.
