This place gets better by the day. They are doing great things at Gilmer Dairy Queen! Your experience there, no matter if you are running through on your lunch break or you sit and stay awhile, is welcomed and truly appreciated and it shows! They are working on improving everything about this location from the building, the staff, the food AND the service! It's worth it to give it a try to see for yourself, whether you are a brand new customer or have been there before, good experience or even bad, you won't be disappointed at the improvements this location has made, the people working there ACTUALLY CARE about every single customer that they serve! They make you feel special when you walk in and blessed if you just drive thru. While the prices are a little high and it might take a few minutes to get your fresh, hot, made to order food, it's worth the time and money to patiently wait, you won't be disappointed. Check them out, I highly recommend them. Just be prepared to be completely satisfied. 😋😋😋❤❤❤

I just wanted to say that the last few months Dairy Queen has really stepped their game up. A lady by the name of Bridgette really made my day by taking her time to get my order right, being polite and not making me feel rushed as I have in the past. Also it is so much more cleaner and a friendlier atmosphere than it was this time last year. Whatever changes you guys have made keep it up. Thank you

Gilmer DQ is awesome! Had the TBrand tacos and they are DELICIOUS!! Friendliest staff in the county!

It was a great place to sit down and enjoy a decent meal. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The one place on Gilmer you can order strawberry coke and have enough to notice you have them.love them.the tacos were a little more messy than last but they remade after I had forgotten to say no tomatoes.i am highly allergic to them face swells

We don't usually get good service, but tonight was good.

Came here for taco Tuesday since none of the ones in Longview offer it anymore 😦. Service was good, food was great, & price was amazing. Thanks be to you for still participating in the taco Tuesday special.

The blizzards from here are unbelievable there was no wait and the worker was nice, I have yet to try the food though.

I bought a large ice cream cone and it was great.

I have eaten in a lot of Dairy Queens and this place makes the best chicken fried steak sandwich and the service is great thanks folks!

Let me first say that I have never taken the time to ever reviewed and establishment having said that, when I went today I was very impressed my food has always been fresh, the place is always clean but the server we had was exceptional friendly and polite. I saw him help an elderly lady to her car and even carry her oxygen. He served or food to us unfortunately I didn't get his name but on our reciept it said his name was Jordin. Please let him know how appreciated he is

I had an ok experience it taste good the bacon ranch hunger buster freshly cooked when I ordered it. Not it took them a bit to bring outside to us and the young man was taking it to wrong car but brought it to the s when my mom asked if it was a bacon ranch but other than that employees are friendly and polite.

Great stop for frozen treats! The best soft serve in town. The best time to eat there is when they are serving chicken and dumplings. It’s something different you don’t find just anywhere like you can a hamburger.

As a truck driver, I stop in at DQs all over the country and this one is by far one of the best! It's so nice to get a friendly smile when you're waiting in line, helpful service and employees that actually are glad you're there. I could also tell by the texture of the ice cream that the ice cream machine gets cleaned regularly. Major bonus!

Went to the DQ on 5/18/19. The sweet girl that was working there entirely by herself did a wonderful job. She was friendly, apologize for delays, and did a great job under the circumstances. The food was also great as always!

The customer service here is amazing, as is the food. This store isn't my local DQ, but I wish it was- it blows the Spring Hill Dairy Queen out the water.

The manager was impeccable, running both the front registers and the drive-thru, and still able to recall drink orders when asked for refills. She was incredibly accommodating, courteous, and I'm not sure how much she's paid, but I know it ain't nearly enough for how masterful her management skills were making sure everybody's order was spot-on.

Definitely worth the twenty minute drive 👍 Excellent establishment here, and a perfect representation of the DQ brand.

Always a favorite of my family. The first fast food chain in my town was Dairy Queen. I have always been partial to the steak finger country basket plus 3 tacos, large root beer, and a chocolate dipped medium cone.
