Must Be Heaven

AMAZING! We stopped in here on the way up from a road trip and was pleasantly surprised. Sandwhiches were delicious, atmosphere amazing, staff wonderful. Making sure to come back and tell people about this hidden treasure!

Pies are Heavenly. Peach praline is an old school flavor but really good.

Delicious, fresh food; friendly, efficient service; pleasant atmosphere; effective ordering system! Everything was great! My classic club (sub roast beef for turkey) and my dad's reuben were perfect and just what we wanted. The two guys working in the dining area cleaning tables were so polite and hard-working. (We were there at lunch on April 1.)

Got here when it opened, so super fast service.

Was a nice lunch spot. I had the quiche which was good. The pie was great and everything was well kept and clean. Very large menu with daily specials. It was nice to have the option of fruit as a side. My wife had the Texas Monte Cristo. It seemed odd to me but the taste was fine. It was just a bit burnt as well.

Huge lines to order but it SO worth the wait. Lots of choices, the cashier is efficient and friendly. You order, get your tray and you get your food right away. Food was fresh and tasty. Big variety of pies. All delish.

I have been going to Must Be Heaven ever since I was a kid, and it is always so good! They have a wide selection of sandwiches, and their pies are amazing. They also have a great selection of Blue Bell ice cream. The atmosphere is very cute and homey, and the service is always great. You will most likely encounter a line, but it is worth the wait! I especially like their pimiento cheese sandwich, broccoli salad, and lemon meringue pie. If you are ever in Brenham, Must Be Heaven is a must!

Home of my favorite Rueben! I’ll drive the full 52 miles just to get it! Their ice cream is delivered straight from the factory. Line is always wrapped around when I come in.

Had a large break time in between two of my daughter’s soccer practices and looked for the best reviewed place and this little spot did not disappoint. I had the Grilled Texas Monte Cristo that had cured ham, turkey, pepper jack cheese, and a jalapeño jelly that was killer. My daughter had the broccoli and cheese soup in a bread bowl. All in all we loved it and definitely will be back.

Visiting the area from out of town, any this place was wonderful. Excellent food and service. The French dip was untraditional, but was still really good, and the broccoli cheese soup was fantastic, tasted homemade! Highly recommend if you are visiting the area for a nice lunch.

Such good food with so many options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is like small town soda shop. Very clean and welcoming.

This place is a must visit if you are passing by.... it was packed when my family and I walked in, and I must say it was worth the wait. My wife tried the Rueben sandwich and I had the sausage. I believe this small sandwich shop in downtown Brenham, Texas first opened it's door back in the 80's. I read that their quiche is very good but did not the opportunity to try it this time... it gives me perfect reason to come back =0) Must be Heaven Sandwich also serves Blue Bell Ice Cream and I believe that is where the name The "Must Be Heaven" name from.

My MOST FAVORITE eatery in Brenham, because I am NEVER disappointed with ANY of their food!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their Tropical Mango Tea as well!!!
It is such an iconic favorite for the locals, and this destination should definitely be added to one's plans when visiting Brenham!!!

Easter Monday the lunch line was to the door, I suggest arriving early for any special occasion. The Monte Cristo Sandwich, the broccoli cheese soup and Key lime pie were all great. Worth the wait.

I love to stop here while in Brenham, Texas. The line is long, but that's okay. For me the pies, sandwiches, and salads are worth the wait. Great things cannot be rushed.

The oldstyle homemade pies and atmosphere are legit, not just some gimmicky tourist joint. Their sandwiches made from fresh ingredients with care for the looks and taste.
They're a true piece of Americana!
