The BARn

It was our first time checking out the Fresh Thai rolls truck and found it super nice that we could order a yummy beer on tap while our pad Thai and pad sa eew rolls were being made! The spicy peanut and the sweet and savory soy based sauces were perfect! Thank you Ivory, for cooking us up this delicious dinner!

Love this relaxed neighborhood spot. The man who I think is the owner is very friendly and really cares about the experience for his customers. I once asked some details about some wines I was interested in and he gave me a couple of samples to make sure I ordered the one I liked best. At my next trip back he mentioned that he remembered me from last time and that he always tries to remember his customers - a nice quality lending to the friendly and comfortable vibe!

We stopped by to listen to Blues legend WC Clark. The place has a great South Austin vibe with high quality food trucks outside and reasonable priced beer and wine. There was a modest $5 cover to sit front row and Mike made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We will be heading back soon!

A quiet retreat right off a busy streets. Went on a Sunday afternoon and found a relaxed atmosphere with a small selection of beers on tap and a small bar. Plenty of seating outdoors with a couple of food trucks to eat at. Could probably get a bit rowdy if it was busy or during music events. All in all a nice, hidden venue that is worth stopping by and checking out.

This is such a great spot! Dont expect anything fancy but it is one of our favorite casual go to places. They have corn hole and outdoor jenga. Inside the bar they have pool and darts. The bar top itself is small but the selection is pretty decent! The food trucks are so tasty. Overall it's a great way to spend a night out when you dont want to go over the top but still want to feel like you've had an evening out.

The Barn is GREAT! Both the Barn and it's staff give off a laid-back and chill environment, which I personally enjoy. You can choose to hang out by the indoor bar, or (if weather permits) on the outdoor patio where bands perform throughout the weekend nights.The Barn has a great array of local beers and homemade cocktail drinks mixed up by one of the best bartenders, Mike! Mike is one of the factors that make the Barn such an great place to visit. He's very attentive and a great bar conversationalist. You'll always have a drink in your hand if Mike is working the bar. Furthermore, they have delicious food trucks, on property, that will sure be of help when you get hungry. I recommend you check out them out!

We brought a crowd of about 30 on a Saturday afternoon and (w/ some advanced notice) Mike, Mia and Dennis made it a great day! Great space with several different sections depending on what your in the mood for - outside bag toss, food trucks, pool/darts, TV's with whatever game is on. Lots of misters and fans to keep cool outside. Thanks to the whole staff for making it a great experience!

Very fun and casual bar! Great outdoor seating and games like jenga and cornhole, live music Thursday through Saturday, and friendly staff. Highly recommend. The owner is one of the coolest guys I've met!

This is a great bar, and Hunter is a great bartender. He's knowledgeable, friendly, helpful with recommendations, and good conversationalist. But very few people know about The BARn (yes, thats how they write it). You should know, and I'm happy a friend told me. It has great live music, food trailers, and an old fashion ambience that I appreciate. I even met a well known Austinite that sat right next to me at the bar. It's next to Lowe's, but hidden behind the food trailers that you CAN see from Brodie. Just look for the food trailers and go towards them. Then up the steps and into The BARn.... and relax.

Went during the Central Texas Bluegrass Association band scramble. The Barn folks were great, and the beer was cold! Great place!
